This place needs more credit than it gets for an amazing atmosphere with a wide variety of local artists. My husband and I went here for First Friday this month (September), and we were surprised by the amount of neat art tucked in this building! From metal sculptures to a technological collage and paintings and many jewelers...you can find a little something for everyone here if you are looking to gift local this year! Shelly Saville sat and talked with me for a long while after I showed interest in one of her necklaces. She told me about the Denver Art Society, what they do and what types of art are housed there. She is an outstanding artist and great person. She does fine art paintings and makes jewelry as well. Stop by and check out some of her stuff...I bought a gorgeous Moon necklace from her for a very good price! The Denver Art Society even has live bands and serves adult beverages...also take cash and card.

This volunteer-run, one of a kind gallery is located in the Art District on Santa Fe. They have an incredible amount of art from over 60 different artists! There are 2 floors, downstairs features more art and artist studios. Highly recommend visiting Denver Art Society!

We did an intro to sculpting class here. It was super fun and informative. Jason Bushey was our teacher and he s pretty awesome. Super friendly, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back for more fun classes. I love that they offer neat little things like this for us to try. We each received a large block of sculpting clay. And even had left over clay to take home and continue sculpting. You definitely get what you pay for.

Had a couple of shows here it s great to check this place out on first Fridays or even an off day if you want the place to your self I loved that this art space has tons of artist going in a lot of different directions some gallery s and collectives had so many rules and requirements that I loved the free spirit of this collective it s a very fluid society of artists compared to other places on Santa Fe that have more structured refined feel its gritty, raw , free everything from comedy, drum circle, art classes, studio space , music, jewelry so much more constantly get press for a wide variety of reasons... it can be super quite when it s not first Friday then lots of hustle and bustle during the art walk I ve had art shows all over the country this place is original lots of local flavor.!!!!!!!!

To my surprise, this was one of the few art shops that were open on Memorial Day... and I am glad it was! The gallery had a wide variety of artwork displayed by local Colorado artists which included stonework, portraits, mod... be sure to check out the downstairs portion of the gallery.
