Working with Denise has been wonderful. Her knowledge when it comes to alterations is unbelievable, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have alterations done.

RUDE. Brought my daughter's dress in to get altered, she told me she couldn't alter it, which is fine (we have a backup dress). She told me I will have to purchase another smaller size dress. I answered with that was the smallest size for the dress, so we'll just wear that one next year. She interrupted me and said FOLLOW ALONG, I can't alter it due to the neckline, etc. I was a bit shocked she would take that tone and say that to me. I completely understood what she was saying and obviously I was OK that she couldn't alter it. It was just a very rude thing to say to a potential customer. As we we're leaving she then insulted the dress calling it a cheap dress from China and thats why the sizing was off. Excuse me? I ordered it online from Bloomingdales. Granted, maybe it was a cheaply made dress from China that Bloomingdales is marking up, but who says that to a customer? The whole experience was very odd, she very rude and I would never go back there again. For her sake I hope she is a talented seamstress because her personality sucks.

Denise is extremely talented and will do everything possible to help her customers. I came to her 3 weeks before my wedding with a dress that I had loved when I picked it out, but alterations from the bridal shop I had bought it from left me dreading having to wear it on my wedding day. Luckily Denise was willing to squeeze me in just before the 4th of July and immediately put me at ease. She is extremely talented, honest and delivers on all of her promises. She is my one and only recommendation in the metro detroit area!

Oh my god. Denise is amazing! I was a distressed bride that had been wooed into a alteration shop in Chicago where I bought my dress and they left me high and dry. I wanted to get sleeves on to my sleeveless dress and was told this was more than possible, a month before the wedding I was told it was impossible. So I went online and found Denise and gave her a call. She instantly got me moving and on the road to find the items I needed to make this possible. A week before the wedding I had the most beautiful custom made sleeves and dancing lace . Best part is that Denise offers you options to make it as cost effective as possible. I m so thankful for her hard work and her talent is just as unique as she is! If you are a bride near Clarkston you need to be working with Denise.

Denise was the best. She went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. She was the only place willing to get a specific color the groom wanted. To be honest, the bigger tuxedo rental companies didnt even bother with us or try to help at all. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Denise did an amazing job for both my mom's mother of the bride dress and my dress. She suggested removing a bulky under layer to highlate the lace detail of my wedding gown, and it turned out perfectly. She's great to work with!
