Delaware Valley Job Corps Center Review

Currently employed here. Overall its a good concept. Its a rough area to get quality staff therefore current staff suffer, but we do what we can for our students no matter what!!!

Is the old lady on the boys ground floor still alive ? She was the best ! A mother hen for all the students.

One of the worst/detrimental places you can be employed. Management degrades you, offers no support, and expects magic to happen. They literally could care less about employees, even the children they re supposed to be serving. Numbers is the only thing that motivates top management at the job corps center. Do not work here. Do not even apply, unless you fully intend to be miserable.

Mind was good but at the same time it was awesome want to go back because my education is not yet finish

GRADUATED IN 2013 I MISS MS PRINCE BEST RA EVER FOOD WAS NASTY BUT WHAT ELSE DO YOU EXPECT ALL SCHOOL FOOD IS . YOU CAN GO ON SHOPPING TRIPS AND GET FOOD PACAKGES FROM HOME. THE ONES WHO DIDNT LIKE IT OR FINISHED WAS FORCED BY A PARENT OR SOMEONE ELSE . IF YOU GO THERE WITH THE MINDSET TO CHANGE YOU WILL DO GREAT I COMPLETED TRADE AND MY GED IN 9 MONTHS

Man, it's good to see this place once again. Great memories. All the teachers, staffs, RAs, Robocop the security was mad cool and funny. My first blackout was up there. Everywhere you look and hear was so funny but when the staffs, security guards and RAs came they was mad cool about calming ppl and also had a popcorn machine and all different kinds music playing. It was a blessing to joined this job corps around that time met a lot of important people and lost a lot. 100

Changed my life. I went in rough around the edges and left out wanting to help others that shared my simular story. Class of 2001.

I was there from 93-94 it was alot of gangs mainly from the vi but i had fun made some good friends and some I'd like to slap if I ever see them again ... Had fun on Drew Dorm before the new dorms was finished

Don t believe nothing they say at that meeting about Delaware Valley Jobcorps. You eat the same food every single day, they can take away your microwave privileges you will starve here and you only get to get Pepinos(pizza place) if the staff feel like it. It s terrible here, if you have problem with the staff there s nobody to go to and nothing will be done. Staff will walk in on you at any given time there s no privacy at all you can say that your not dressed and they will say they don t care and walk right in. There s also reports of staff touching the students to wake up and they are currently still working here. And YOU CANT PLAY BASKETBALL they most definitely lied to ya. Also if you are a female you will argue with the same staff ladies here everyday and get termed because you will get fed up it s not worth it going here at all !! And finally some staff will put in fake case notes in to get you out of here. So good luck to all !!

Totally awesome facility back in the 1980's!! I enjoyed my 2 year stay at DVJCC, it was very heart breaking to have to leave!

A lil Rough around the edges but everything was a learning experience. Program open doors for me that I ve never would have imagined.You make the best of it I know I did. I ve met Great people all around from different backgrounds, it has a very beautiful scenery, definitely recommend to someone who is 110% open minded and dedicated to change in themselves.

I went there back in 2006. It was okay I'm just looking for my old input brother I went there with. Anybody that went there around TCT time knew who me and my crew was Dwaaaaade!!! This jerzey

I go every Tuesday to the well center. They are the best, awesome people particularly Vicki the nurse

Honestly this place could be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better , Thankfully me and my boyfriend got tf up outta there with everything we came for . Living there gets a ( 0 outta 5 , & training day gets a 2 outta 5 ) from me . Imma keep it nice , so that's all Imma say

I love job corps I met a lot of interesting people and I learned a whole lot while I was there I received my ny state drivers license and my HS diploma and a culinary degree Thank you job corps ps and I almost went to treasure island

The worst place ever. But there are a few staff members who care about you very much. But wellness is horrible if you got a broken arm or whatever is broken you better get ur parents involved cause they wont send you the hospital they will just say ohh you just twisted ur fine.they got someone to confirm this stuff over a phone without seeing it at all. Save your money all the time

1996 to 1998 had made fun there just wish I could get my class pictures back who remembers a guard that worked there called robo cop ?
