I get up to deer valley about once a year for the downhill mtn bike park. 3 years ago it was sublime. Since then, it seems that the trails are not maintained. Crazy brake bumps on many of the trails, especially tidal waive.
With trail maintenance this place would consistently be 5 stars. Hoping that trail maintenance becomes a thing again.
This resort is awesome! It was nice & clean. The staff is friendly & willing to be of service. The mountain has a variety of trails with variety of difficulty. The other riders were also nice & courteous.
We spent several days downhilling on mountain bikes in early August. Rented a bike from the ski area for my son, trails are exceptional with a huge variety especially in the blue and black categories. Even with very little rain the trails were in pretty good shape. Definitely bring your tubeless tires because this mountain eats tubes. We had four flats one day on my kids tubed tires.
Great place!! Three days of mt biking and we all greatly enjoyed the trails.
Don't let the pleasant name or the posh zip code deceive you, this place is a legit DH dream. With plenty of flow, tech and jumps to challenge even the most seasoned riders.

I love Deer Valley. My favorite place to mountain bike. The only thing I wish they would do is keep Silver Lake Express open for an additional 30 minutes for downhill traffic. Got down to mid mountain right as the lift was closing. All lifts close at 5pm so those still on the mountain can't get a ride down. Really would be nice to have a way down without having to go thru "town" on the road.
Get ready for one of the best ski experiences. The staff here are incredible. I especially enjoy that it is ski only. I think snowboarders sometimes get a bad rap but Deer Valley doesn t make you worry since they aren t allowed. Makes for a really nice ski trip!
Enjoyed our day at DV. Had lunch at St Royal and then up to the top to hike down
MTB Park is awesome. Lots of great trails. Fun jump lines. Great fun overall.
Had the best time mountain biking. Absolutely have to go again.
