Dee,s Family Restaurant Review

Finally a restaurant that's cooks it the way you ask for it. Eggs scrambled well and crispy hashbrowns. Thank you for making it my way. Very enjoyable. Richard was an amazing server.

They don't know food asked for glased salmon and sucks

I had a very delightful time the staff was very kind and courteous the servers very prompt and serving the food and keeping my drink refilled it was a warm atmosphere definitely can bring your family or just a significant other would make great for family meals or romantic meals I will be eating there again and I recommend it to anybody looking to just sit down having a good home cooked meal and great prices

Service was excellent and food was great. Very clean and was covid prepared... hopefully we'll all get back to normal soon. Until then don't change a thing, you guys were great!

Pretty good food but not worth the price. Our waiter was a little weird towards my date, commenting on how small she was and how she needed to eat. Not the most polite thing to tell an adult woman.

The Taylorsville location Dee s was nasty. My son got a spicy chicken sandwich and the buffalo sauce was super sweet, it was like eating candy with chicken. We talked to our waitress and she just said well that s our buffalo sauce she didn t offer to replace it with something else or even offer a refund. Then we all got fries and they were either cold or still frozen, we again told the waitress and she just said sorry
We will never be back to this location again. I would have liked something to be done about this but I guess not!

What is this, a sandwich for ants?? Seriously the sandwiches are childsize. Don't order a sandwich on the menu if you're not currently sporting a lapband.

I waited for my French dip for 10 minutes while my sandwich was in front of me. So. I asked the manager for it. Then I got it finally. And the dip was so salty. Don't order the French dip. It was bad!!!!!!
I walked out Dee's still hungry. I had to go get something else's.

I love to come here for breakfast. However, the last three times I have went the waitress wasn't very friendly and my food was either over or under cooked. For example I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the yoke was cooked but the whites were runny. I also got a scone that sat there for a good 20 minutes getting cold because I wasn't served honey butter and had to wait for the waitress to come back to ask for it.

I love their frustrated, cheeseburgers, fry sauce. Great atmosphere.

One of the greatest local places to eat in all of utah

Amazing place much better than places like Ihop or village inn....Too bad it is in the high crime area of town(Crime level didnt used to be so bad). I have been going to all the dees locations for over 25 years.

Best Dee's I've been to! The staff is friendly, the food was both good and came out in under 10 minutes, and the place is homey and clean. Definitely plan to visit again.

My preferred location for delicious Family Meals. Food with real quality ingredients. The service was very friendly and kind. Bring your hunger - portions are large. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento.

Very friendly & clean atmosphere. My server Nikki was top notch the best. I kept her on her toes as condiments needed. Instead of bottle of ketchup you get a small plastic container. The salt & pepper are package along with sugar package.. I ordered the all meat & veggie omelette with cheese & tomatoes incorporated & fluffy even had french toast. It's the best I had in a long time. The prices are fair & if I'm in the area again I be back.

Very good creps here! I love going to this location and getting breakfast because everyone is so friendly. I got the crep combo, comes with 2 creps, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, bacon or sausage for $9. Will come back again for sure!

Ordered a chicken fried steak dinner. The potatoes were instant. The chicken steak smelt and had an after taste of fish. The vegtables were over cooked. Salad drenched in ranch. Their large drinks are SMALL. The chocolate milk is watered down. We confronted the manager, she did remove the prices of the chicken fried steaks. Our waitress came 3 times. Get us drinks, bring our food, and give us a recipt. No checking on us. Overall bad food, experience and services.

Just so happy these classic Utah restaraunts are open and cooking great home style dishes! Breakfast, lunch and dinner too!!! Ordered the salmon dinner and it was delicious!

Excellent old-school spot for a satisfying meal. Good value, super fast, friendly service. Food is generally good with the occasional kitchen slip-up (bacon instead of sausage, runny eggs). They sell pies at the counter, too!

PROS: Dining room was very clean and nice decor. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Good amount of food. Great amount of parking. The meal was quick. Open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. The appearance of the Food was clean.

CONS: The food was ok, nothing great. Almost similar to cafeteria food. Meal was served on plastic plates and bowls.

It's a blessing that there is any food around here that is walking distance from the hotel next door. Similar food that is found at IHOP or DENNY'S.

I'm a new "regular" customer after coming to attend a small work meeting a year ago. I LOVE this place! Great Service and Very friendly people (customers and servers). Food is always hot and made anyway i like It. NEVER had a bad meal here. Love they specials! Always a good choice!

This place has been around a long time. I don't eat here often but when I have the food is always good and its always very clean.

I'm hooked on their pork chop and eggs with hash brown and biscuits & gravy.

The waitress that waited on us was very good .her dad was dieing and she was still working. God bless

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Went there for lunch on a Tuesday. Food was fresh.

We were visiting for a week from another state, and had a few meals here. Mostly the food was typical diner food, but very good, and the croissant turkey sandwhich with cranberry sauce was a modern, delicious, unexpected twist, and filling. Also the California omellette was very good, and not heavy or greasy like some diners. The servers and all the employees were extremely friendly, and nice in a genuine way...not like reading a script at a big chain restaurant.
