Deceuninck North America Review

At this time i have worked for this place for 11.5 years and i would not take back a single minute. I have been promoted several times in the department I started in within the first 4 years. I was then offered an apprenticeship in the Maintenance department. I was promoted within 1.5 years to a lead maintenance tech. I recently was promoted again to operations training coordinator. The point is, if you come here with a desire to suceed and show up, the sky is the limit. Sure the plant has had issues in the past but what company doesn't? The way things are now are miles better than they were a short while ago. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND COMMING TO DECEUNINCK FOR A CAREER! But make sure you are going to contribute to a better future and not drag us down. I have personally seen dozens of people start on the ground floor and make a very sucessful career out of this place, and i have seen multiple people walk in and be terrible employees and become upset and post bad reveiws. Come be part of our sucessful family!

Horrible place to work. Extrusion specialists are screwed over daily by management. Hell, management even holds meetings to taunt you about how they're screwing you over. Horrible place

I was told even though I had some blemishes on my record, hiring me was suppoedly a sure thing. Needless to say, they contacted me the day before I was slated to start and denied everything they said. Don't trust them... Thanks Deceuninck for wasting my time and resources

You don't get any holidays off. You for 50hr one week and every other Saturday 58hr and so on. 10min breaks for 10hr shifts. It's a horrible place to work. They truly just work you til you break. Only two people allowed off on a shift. Don't do it

Horrible place for truckers. It's been 3.5 hours on dock not loaded yet . Watch out old man name Jim forklift guy has no idea very slow

Its confusing to figure out where to load and unload. But got loaded in 40 mins

Hickory Dickory Decks has been buying Clubhouse vinyl decking from Deceuninck for over 7 years and with the selling of the brand to Tapco we will only remain friends. Thank-you for the great team you have and all the things you did for our company. Mark and Scott and the rest of the Clubhouse team treated Hickory Dickory Decks so fantastic over the years. We will miss seeing you on our October football and plant tours. I look forward to getting into vinyl rail soon and working together again. Tom Jacques

Got fired after a week from two False accusations When I tried to explain to them they said I can take it up with human recourses and gave me a number , i called them, the building and the manager for over two weeks and no answer until I emailed about taking them to court because I was also not paid 3 weeks late . Terrible , ignorant people to work for .

Team lead for lamination talks down to his employers threatens your job but has no authority as team lead to do anythig about it a lazy superviser who messed up 3 other departments but because of long history with company they wont fire him 40+ hrs a week. No real family time. Favoritism is ridiculous. You pay for your tools fro m your check if your tools are lost or stolen you have to pay for them from your last check. Point system with vacation days is embarassing you can be pionted for taking a vacation day. Bad management. High turnover rate fast many but dont stay long. Worked here 8 months then walked out. I refused to bust my ass for a team lead who talks to people like they have a mental problem.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would but we all know that we can't rate 0 stars. The place is a hell hole and they have no idea how to treat their employees let alone run a business. They have crew leaders snorting drugs off of sinks and people who should know how to run machines that just run and hide. This place is a joke and stay far away from it. Numerous employees walked out after years because they brought old employees back who haven't worked there for 10+ years and paid them more than everyone there. HR will take money out for your health insurance and never enroll you. Stay far away from here. They are constantly hiring because nobody wants to work there. Even with being paid 12-20+ an hour everyone hates it that bad. Not to mention they make you sign a contract stating that you can't work for numerous other plastics extrusion companies for x amount of years after you no longer work here. Place is a joke. Go right down the road and make more at UGN, your starting pay is almost the same as a 2-3 year veteran at this place.

I quit this place there are a lot lazy people in the compound and and the company would rather us breath dust none stop everyday than to loose out on 5 mins of production in order to follow there own policies and fix the issues....
