Took a long time after being seated to be greeted by our wait staff. Food was decent but we held higher expectations for the price. Overall a good experience and the food came out very quickly, just nothing exceptional.

Very expensive for what you get. A sandwich is $17 and comes with chips. Fries are an extra $3. Got the cream of crab and crabby chicken. The cream of crab looked and tasted like it came out of a can and was over salted. The crabby chicken was dry and barely had any crab dip on it. The fries were fine. Oh, and the kids $9.99 mac 'n cheese is Kraft. The best part of Freddies was the kids playground. My daughter played the whole visit. Do not recommend. All beach restaurants will be expensive. At least find a place where the food is good.
THIS WASN T OUR FIRST TIME HERE AND WONT BE OUR LAST! The food is awesome! You want seafood!? THEY GOT IT! You want burgers or chicken?!?! THEY GOT IT! Have kids you wanna entertain?!? THEY GOT IT! You can t beat this place!
This is a family restaurant with playgrounds located back on a canal. Even if you sit in the outdoor "adult area", Kids are running by. We ordered " the blend" . Cream of crab and traditional MD combined. It was pretty good, but not very hot. Then we ordered the "Rock Bites". Appetizer. Very good but expensive. $14.99. Under the recommendation of 2 employees, we ordered Captains Chicken & Chicken Jennifer. You can order full or half order. Basically, one breast or two. We ordered 1/2 order. The dinner arrived on a plate slightly larger than a saucer. The chicken breasts were supposed to be topped with crab meat and sauce. There was very little crab meat or sauce. This dish was about $18 each, and no veggie. Rice was dry and very little of it. Reminded me of box of chicken Rice-a-Roni. Chicken was grisly and dry. Just awful, and disappointing. When we told the server, he honestly laughed and said he would tell his manager. After a lengthy period, the manager arrived to see what was wrong and was almost argumentative. Saying to "I like our chicken - well you ate most of it" he said to my husband.
After trying 4 items, we would recommend the Rock Bites, but we will go back to Longboards or Pit & Pub.
The food wasn t that good. The management wasn t good at all, and it reflected on the poor training of their staff. I felt bad for the waitresses who were not trained well and the chef who thought the food was priced well for its less than savory quality.
We love dead Freddie s but beware of the 2 story playground boat. It has a hole in the top deck where they drive and our child fell through to the ground. We were on the boat with her and we couldn t see the hole and she just stepped over and fell. No railing or anything there. Also kids were climbing on the railing of the boat and can easily fall over into the water. This happened when I was right there on the boat myself with her. Told manager and he didn t seem to know what hole was up there. Scary. We couldn t figure out how to get to her but finally did by a circle opening on the ground. This was up in the air a good bit too. Crazy. Please fix this. Cover the hole or box it in.
Got there around 830, party of 7. They said all they had for us as outside seating. We were optimistic and agreed. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. We were the only table outside and after 15 minutes it got too cool. The service was pretty good and the food was really good. Definitely have the cream of crab! The alcoholic drinks were decent at best for the price Great place for kids.
Good food and great family friendly environment. Lots of things to keep the kids occupied. And the back deck bar is perfect to enjoy a drink and a beautiful sunset over the bay.
The food was very good I would recommend the crab dip and fried mozzarella bites for appetizers.. we had the cheeseburgers with crab dip on top they were amazing.. the staff was friendly as well
