first time on the island and took taxi all the way there for a lobster roll that i was waiting for my whole day. Arrived at 255pm and was told they closed at 3pm-5pm. I explained I took a taxi and taxi left and I was leaving island shortly if they could make an exception being it was not 3pm yet. They told me no and was rude. Had to walk all they way back to hotel..will not be going back if I ever return

Dead eyes is a quality establishment, with it's own marina and superb chef's, it has become a widely known respite for the sea fairing tourist as well as the local fisherman. The same can be said for those looking to book wedding receptions with their beautiful hard wood dining hall and outstanding out door patio for those who enjoy the fresh salt air. As well, if you find yourself looking for a quality calibur drinking experience, the dead eyes bar tending team is up to task. Enjoy.

Great spot to grab a bite to eat and drinks after a day of biking. The location and seating options were amazing. The menu had a wide variety of tasty and creative items. I appreciated their covid-19 precautions and outdoor seating

Wonderful venue with great views out on the patio. The calamari was the best I've had in a long time. The bloody Mary had just the right amount of spice and had a truly massive shrimp on it. The fish and chips was a classic and good. Park your bike or scooter outside and enjoy a good meal and some brews.

Pretty good food and service. This place is one of the first restaurants you'll encounter walking into down from the marina. It has all the typical seafood items for the area, and the prices aren't bad (for the area). The service was fine, and the place seemed clean and well organized. Would go again.

We had been snacking & hopping around the island all day so we weren't extremely hungry. But we had the calamari (super fresh and tender, best I've had in a long time) and the noodle bowl. So much flavor in both dishes! And the service was great!

Heads up, they're not taking reservations with covid right now...dirt come first serve

There are plenty of places to eat on Block Island. Do yourself a favor and eat someplace else!
Our Hot Lobster Rolls were hardly warm and the fries were cold. The waitress had an attitude like we were a bother to her evening. Everything took a long time to happen. Waited for drinks, waited for appetizers, waited for dinner, waited for a dessert menu, and finally waited way too long for a desert to go. I did say thank you to our waitress on the way out and it sounded like she replied with something like "yeah, ok". That was before she saw the 15% tip we left; more than she earned based on the lack of service.

I read in a blog about Block Island that this was a great restaurant to go to, and also that the Lobster Avocado BLT sandwich was a must-have! So glad I went with that advice! That was a fantastic sandwich!! We also got loaded fries, and they were amazing as well! Definitely recommend this place. We sat on the outdoor patio and the view was terrific!
