We bothered with four people at De Wallevis in Steenbergen. The service was excellent, very friendly. The food was of good quality, and very well presented. The ambiance was very cozy and atmospheric. All in all very satisfied. We come back!

Little sorry. 3 vouchers purchased through Social Deal. Reserved a few days in advance but via a different site (I had not seen that) but oh well confirmation comes in. so fine. You will receive a message 4 hours in advance that you have to book through a social deal. Okay, but there is no table left. Just call no hear that is not possible we have 12 tables free but you can not come

Starter consisted of 4 smaller dishes, the main menu was not very much but very tasty, the dessert consisted of three small snacks. The pear ice cream in particular was very tasty.

Surprisingly good tapas platter, really authentic Spanish flavors. The decor is a bit general, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. We will definitely come back here.

Delightful Netherlands small hotel with accommodation,restaurant, children's play area. Breakfast was set the night before to either eat in room or at the hotel lobby. Good selection. Enjoyed the mini bar that was complementary unlike mist hotels the water ,fruit juice,sweets and chips were appreciated. Room was adequately furnished and clean. Free parking for motorcycles not sure where car parking would be. Easy walk into the town. Home of the Dambuster graves and memorials.

Unfortunately 2 years later. Eaten here via SD today for birthday. Very small portions with a lot of bread. Very expensive wine taken ... 2 bottles. Is a bottle placed on the table ... not opened ... without a cooler ... is not asked if the wine tastes. In short, poorly trained staff.

Visited for 1st time on terrace for dinner.

Terrace has a cozy appearance, protected from wind, parasols and partial canopy. Was good to stay in the evening with some sun.

Free WIFI:
Log in through various social media accounts or by email. In my opinion people want to know too much through email , but luckily accepts a lot (nonsense).
Wifi regularly drops out.

Nice fairly large play area / playground outside adjacent to terrace. Looks very much appreciated by various kids.

Last week there has been a lot of thunderstorm, the more reason to give things a broom, not here.

Pork tenderloin was excellent in taste, and bacon was delicious.
Too bad it was so extremely small and almost cold. I think the sauce in which everything floated cannot be repeated.
Included fries in cone bag and cap of majonaise. As often, unfortunately, the majo is also not sufficient here.

Basket with baguette, basket is made of plastic with "reed motif" (almost reed color)
Maybe hygienic, but thought it was rather fake.

Salmon / prawn salad was good.

Children's pizza was also a lollipop and festive cocktail, always doing well.

With the desserts, the powdered sugar / cocoa was added afterwards, the underlying napkins were covered with powder.

Paying by debit card is only possible at the cash register.

Location near the harbor, wonderful sun-drenched terrace, small playground for the kids, good kitchen and friendly service. Prices are slightly higher than the other restaurants in the area, but that should not affect the atmosphere and cosiness. It is a shame that a part of the view is on a hardware store, some conifers or shrubs could easily take away that view

Great food and friendly service. Nice place to have a bite to eat in an informal atmosphere, possibly with children.

In the Wallevis they have a very nice and special collection of specialty beers, some of which I have never heard of. Most available both cooled and uncooled. That is very nice, because many beers should not be too cold. Delicious degustering.

Eaten Sunday in the Wallevis. Was really delicious. Staff walked out of the slippers. Skilful and very friendly, class! Highly recommended.

Great food for a good price. Operation remains hopeless. Bread board arrived very late and was therefore followed by the main course within five minutes. We sat outside, fine with the heaters, but forgot. After twenty minutes trying to order a dessert, we have settled. Got vague apologies. Pity!
