They sent me a cancelation invoice of 150 euros (besides the 50 euros deposit that I payed) on which they added surcharges of another 250 euros. They even sell holidays from Secret Escapes. The communication with them was terrible. They don't care about anything. I don't recommend to book anything through them.

Travel to Croatia with the Jong Intra was really hellish. It was worth 1 star because we had reached Croatia, but that is all.
Overnight hotel in Germany: entrance on the side of the building, a stone's throw from a large waste container for building material. No nameplate at the entrance, no lights, stones that were loose on the stairs so that a few people stumbled before they were in the hotel at all, loose electricity wires that stuck out. At the reception was the blue of the smoke, outrageous that the staff smoked inside while it was forbidden to smoke inside! Rooms were very mediocre: I had a curtain that was thinner as a summer dress (which allowed the staff to see me), some others had no curtain at all. Faucet that was broken, loose and slanted socket in the bathroom, Above the bed 2 TVs that were arranged behind each other. All in all a shabby and poorly maintained room. Food was bad, as a vegetarian I got a schnitzel. They were not about to give a meat substitute.
Hotel Karsten in Croatia looked beautiful from the outside, very noisy inside. Much noise from party people until deep into the night. Staff did not know but felt that it was a quiet room. No soap in the room, I wondered what kind of hygiene they were after. Soap placed and the next morning it was removed by housekeeping. The food (breakfast and dinner): little food for the amount of people, in addition, several people got sick by spoiled food. Supposedly drinking would be included, I had to pay casually. Staff were rude, especially those in the restaurant. Driver Wim could drive, but often did not know the way and had not prepared. He did not know anything about Croatia. Guide Savo in Zagreb knew nothing about Zagreb, we were at the central station and asked other people where we were. All and a mockery. Complaint filed with the Young Intra and she suggested that I would book a trip with them for a 50 euro discount. Incomprehensible how bad they are and do not take people seriously. Through my insurance, fortunately a part of the travel sum was recovered.

Booked apartment in Calella but did not match the pictures when booking. The bedroom was not equipped with a window and as an asthma patient this is not very useful. When checking in, I received a neat envelope with contact persons and called immediately. Literally got a great upgrade within 5 minutes! Was also with a lot more luxury but that was not really about. The window made us so happy! Really a huge compliment for this fast action! Very nice Bernlikf thanks to them!

Thursday, February 20, after a 5-day trip to Seville home, I thought. However Transavia flight is canceled and we are moved to a hotel. All travelers receive an SMS or email except the undersigned. Called TV and it appears that the De Jong number is displayed intra on my booking. Strange and not handy. Furthermore, no response in the evening on the emergency number. The same thing the next morning, luckily D travels did answer the phone. Eventually, through D Reizen, I get hold of someone at De Jong, and a lady Karin told me that every action I took as a result of the canceled flight was at my own risk. at least 5 times in a 5-minute conversation. Remains with me the following.
1 Can we talk about what is possible?
2 If you choose to provide your own number as a contact number, make sure that you are reachable.
3 When I personally arrange the refund of my return flight, it is of course crazy to say that I have to prove this to De Jong Intra.
Hats off to D Reizen Veghel who respond and do what they promise.

P.S. stay was fine there is nothing to criticize hence the 3 stars

Visit Hotel Corona in Rome from 29 May to 6 May 2015
The evaluation below has been shared with D-Reizen in Dordrecht, which also provided this trip. But so far I have not received a response. After that I moved and therefore a little late responding to you.

Cons travel agency / brochure
- The journey by train would be informative, i.e. you would see a lot of the surroundings of Rome and Rome itself. It was a boring process.
- The score of the hotel itself in your brochure received a 7.6. Incomprehensible to us
- The brochure stated that the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. On the contrary

Minus points about the hotel itself
- No assistance whatsoever in checking in the aircraft. We do not provide this service
- WiFi events often caused problems. Insufficient knowledge present in the hotel itself
- The air conditioning did not work
- The hotel is within walking distance of a market. If your bedroom is at the front of the hotel, you will be awakened at 5 am. There is a market almost every day
- The rooms are very noisy. You hear your neighbors talking
- The buffet was monotonous. Every day the same. Yogurt was rare
- 5.00 per day had to be paid for the safe. For a week you pay 25.00
- The lift was insufficient / slow. The button had to be pressed up or down regularly
- The toilet lid was released twice during this period

Advice to the travel agency: remove this hotel from the brochure, it offers nothing.

For holiday transfers arranged through the youngsters. Return trip no taxi appeared. Complaint submitted on return to the young trainee and taxi company. The youngsters pull her hands off it and take the position that the transfers offered by them are a suggestion. Doing absolutely nothing for the customer. Totally unreliable.

Great company. However, I would not book again with a travel agency if I do not have a flight. You can book a car rental yourself via booking.com and it has more advantages.m, for example, the free cancellation is then included.

I called customer service last week about a booked trip to Bali. As everyone knows, Bali will be locked until the end of 2020. I booked and paid for this holiday in November 2019 and therefore already moved to the autumn once because it could not take place in the summer. Now De Jong Intra wants me to pay the remaining amount of 2000 euros, even though EVERYONE knows that the trip is canceled. In fact, I have received messages from customer service via Facebook that the trip will be canceled. Called customer service and they don't want to make any effort for a solution. I don't want to pay another 2000 euros for a trip that is guaranteed not to take place. No, I have to cancel myself at a cost of 400 euros. Getting the booking forward is '' awkward '' so then we just do nothing and you as a customer just have bad luck. A voucher for the down payment is only possible if De Jong Intra cancels, but they have already announced via Messenger that they will only check a few weeks in advance whether the trip can continue, ie when the remaining payment must be made. What a disgusting company you are! Are not at all open to a solution. I will NEVER book a trip with you again and warn everyone about your '' service ''.

EDIT: well Arnaud, let me have a call with Rineke (from customer service) last week, including my booking number, but unfortunately, Rineke was not allowed to mean anything to me by the higher boss. After we received a phone call that we were overbooked by a mistake in the booking system, De Jong Intratours did everything to offer us an alternative.
We had booked an apartment and got an apartment hotel with half board. It was above expectations.
I therefore advise everyone to book a holiday at De Jong Intratours.
The service they provide is great

PACKAGED SERVICE WITH REGARD TO ADDED TRANSFERS!

Upon arrival at the airport, the information in the travel documents is incorrect. Almost missed an important ferry crossing (after midnight). On the way back no transfer arranged at all, which resulted in costs for your own account. The travel agency is pulling its hands off this.

You expect that as a customer who pays well, you do not have to sort things out and arrange things yourself. Apparently this is not the idea at this travel agency. So not recommended!

I had booked a holiday through holiday discount, but it was arranged by intra de jong. We had booked the transfer via holiday discount.

We arrived on Monday and on Friday we only get the papers of welcome and for excursions, while we went home on Sunday.

There were also many problems with the transfer. It is because we were curious what time it was, but otherwise we would have had a late transfer and would have missed our flight. Fortunately, Dorien (local contact person) was willing to help. Although we had booked the transfer through holiday discount.

You expect that you as a customer do not have to sort things out and arrange things yourself. Apparently this is not the idea at this travel agency. So not recommended!

In any case, the cooperation between holiday discount and intra de jong.

Don't trust about the last minute deals, they offer prices that seems to be cheaper, but at the end always changes the prices, and they are higher instead of you booking directly with the hotel/airline; it is not a considerable amount, actually for my own experience is over 40% on the total amount of the purchase. Bad experience with this agency, I won't recommended to anyone.

We went to Bavaria on 12 August. We had a great holiday with driver Jeroen. A very good driver and tour guide. Must be very careful with De Jong Intra .
The hotel was also very good. Delicious food and very friendly and pleasant. For us a big 9.

Well, everyone experiences it in her or his own way, if you put a coffee cup with the ear facing yourself then you will be convinced that the cup has an ear but the one sitting opposite you will deny it .. everyone sees it on its own way!
But during our holiday in Lanzarote last week, we have found that "dejongintra" has given it all to save our holiday following a mistake and intervention from a third party, thank you for your prompt professional commitment, and especially your empathy towards the customer a listening ear and understanding! Yes our holiday was good, we are very satisfied. Would like to give 6 stars, but unfortunately there are only 5 to give ..

Holiday booked for May 2020. Not continued due to corona. I've been waiting for my money for over 7 months now. In total, this is a fairly large amount, as I have booked three single rooms for three adults. In the beginning already three times asked for money back. This has been refused three times. After six months asked for money back. Then suddenly they sprinkle with three moments: as soon as possible, in two months and in half a year. After a question when I will receive my money, I get no response. So my advice: never pay in advance again. If De Jong Intra Vakanties now waits too long to repay, then there is a very good chance that De Jong Intra will lose at least three customers forever. Very bad communication! Just ignore the request! Bad information.

Autorondreis Andalucia done, it was a beautiful holiday, good hotels in the right place including great parking, keep in mind that of the 7 hotel nights there was a free parking, with us that was Seville, easy to reach by bus. We avoided the highways as much as possible and the route was beautiful. The person who put this trip together knows what the rental car is concerned, we did it through Avis, also arranged by the Jong Intra!

The last room of our Royal Route through Portugal ...

The last room of our Royal Route through Portugal in August 2018 was a huge disappointment for me. We could recover from the tour for 2 days but we were put in a loft with windows with shutters in front of it so that we could not look outside. Only through the toilet window! Just a prison. I approached the hotel management but nothing was possible. A complaint about this has been filed with De Jong, but Linda de Jong does not take this seriously. That is why I share this experience through this review. Annoying end of a brilliant trip .. very unfortunate .. last hotel was pretty complex only for us so a room that really can not go for a holiday! Unfortunately!!!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to assume a travel description as presented on the website. Places can just deviate one hour than previously said. You will be assisted in an unfriendly manner by the young customer's customer service. They try to put you off with half the information and then you have to figure it out yourself with the travel organization on site. Compiling your own trip is less hassle than booking with this organization. Pity.
