Nice location, friendly staff. Short visit but worth staying longer

Entourage is fantastic. We had a high tea through Groupon and this was very disappointing. I could have made this at home myself. Not particularly so, while I had expected this from the Beukenhof. Operation was also not very enthusiastic. A nice meal, but nothing special

Very unfriendly on the phone. This already gave me the deciding not to make a reservation here! I was treated like they don't need customers here.

I must say I am surprised by a 3.9 overall as I would expect much higher. Each time I have stayed here the service on the phone and in person has been nothing less than friendly, professional, and personalised. When I mentioned I needed to relax there were tealights placed with extra candles; when we brought our dog they were very accommodating; and now that I am getting away from the heat they had the room's air conditioning set up and a cold bottle of water waiting for me. We live in the area but use this hotel as a 'get away' to treat ourselves. Each time the service has been amazing!

Very nice location and very accessible. Operation is a bit young, but therefore not so stiff. The Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough was also great with fish.

For a fun time get a seat at the chef's table in the kitchen and watch them cook!

Staff at desk very friendly and helpful, but you notice when managment team room but a side issue is the revenue coming from the restaurant. In the evening with good weather many people from embassies a lot of CD. at the door waiting for all driver's engine running fine if you live there. But fortunately I did not spare, and I was just a passer my place is not'm just an ordinary Lys To 'first passion with photography.

We were at villa Beukenhofstraat for a high tea. We sat in the garden. Great high tea and atmospheric environment.

Really a scraper, never booked such a bad stay. Poor overdue room. Not clean. Then also no response to our feedback, so now also in public. Really not okay, then also expect that they are again bankrupt. What a dredging tent. Dramatic

Location: fantastic. Service: fantastic. Drinks: very good. Menu: good, but not as exepected for such type of location.

We went for a family dinner. The ambience is great, the location is stunning. We had a 4 course meal and each course was great. Two of my family members were pregnant and one is a vegetarirn, but the staff had everything calculated and none of this was a problem.

Food was tasty but expensive (even with social deal all kinds of surcharges were charged). The Irish coffee is made with whipped cream from an aerosol can, which negates the effect that the cream should have :-(. The service is very friendly.

Nice location, somewhat messy on the outside, but stylish and warm on the inside. Had nice high tea with enough, but not too many goodies. Fresh, with room for dietary requirements.

3 April had lunch here with wife and niece. Looks nice on the inside, but not really well cared for. Our table top was full of staples that you feel through the tablecloth. All three lunch menu ordered 3 courses. For minimum portions, which we don't mind considering our age, you pay more than maximum price. Well eaten tasty but not special. Just returned from vacation from Spain and there you can eat a week with the same quality for the same amount. Unfortunately my wife lost the bill but at 200 for 3 lunches, 3 glasses of wine, coffee and tea is really out of any proportion. They pretend to belong to the top in the Netherlands .......

Indeed, the ambiance is nice (although the seats were way too low). But the service was nothing short of bad. We were honored, comments from our waitress as "Top" and "Super" fell on the conveyor belt. Serving dishes was then again on the right, then on the left. Spilled soup drops were not removed. And after a complaint about cork in the wine, a new glass of wine was poured, but in the same glass! "Yes," said the waitress, "the cork had broken!" And regarding the food: price / quality was wrong. The spoon was way too hot, and despite having a 5-course dinner, you had to satisfy your hunger with expensive side dishes. The cheese board was good. And allowing guests to pay 25.00 for water is also out of date. There should just be carafes of water on the table.
In short: not recommended. There are much better restaurants if you have 85.00 per person to spend.

Enjoyed the lovely chef's lunch, after having experienced the high tea earlier this year. Wonderful venue, friendly staff and delicious food. We even had a peek into some of the hotel rooms after lunch and wow. The garden with the old tree is also lovely.

PAY ATTENTION ... 3 course lunch menu taken, waited 1.5 hours on 2nd course .. then good. But then ... check the bill well .. There was just 35% added to things that we had not had. SHAME. Fortunately I was well awake

Great food, entourage and hostess. Do nothing more about it.

First in the garden for bubbling, then via croupon 5 course dinner, location top, food top. Operation reasonable something surly but what I think owner or hostess really a grumpy lady who could laugh at probably regular guests but other tables arrogant, angry passed by. Was there with friends and will definitely eat again with my wife in the summer but this is really due to the food and the super nice garden.

High tea booked through social deal. Unfriendly reception and very austere high tea, contrary to what is stated about the high tea. Upon inquiry it appears that if you book through social deal, there is an adjusted high tea. Not neat and then 17.50 pp is way too much for what is offered

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. The room is beautifully decorated with beautiful lighting. We had a bath and a shower and plenty of towels. And delicious Rituals products.

Oasis just outside of Leiden. Bit chaotic organization but super friendly staff.

It is a pity that the mood lighting could not be turned on. Stop jumped and the owner had the key so that staff could not in the cupboard. Well neatly dissolved by candles.

Several times indicated that you have an allergy and then end up at the emergency room, because there is a "communication" disorder between the service and the kitchen.

Not like before! I have been many times when it was from the old owners, it stood for excellent service, culinary delights and a really chic atmosphere. The new owner has created a new concept to reach a somewhat wider audience. In short it is nice, modern and yet a critical note. Do something about the operation, not to find ashtrays and to hear that you use the tealight as an ashtray. When you take an order you should not stand with your hands on your side. Red wine you serve red wine in glass. And if you ask 9 euros for a gin and tonic then make it something special ... it's on the pricey side. Food good but if you take everything together the high price is not worth it.

Beautiful ambiance and great food. Via Social Deal an "offer" (fixed menu) but in the meantime a bottle of water was charged at 7.75, for 1 glass of house wine 9.50 !! For a tap beer 4.00 euros and if you wanted some fries, you were 9.00 further. In the end we were able to pay an additional 113.00 euros. (Total a bill of 244 euros with the four of you) I don't really think that is an offer anymore and you better eat a la carte and choose what you want instead of a so-called cheap menu.

Good and attentive service. Not very special food, bit wannabe Jort basement chic. Apparently it used to be better.

The building is in the "backyard". One does not suppose that such large premises and garden hide behind it. Impressive. It is already very old. The decor tastefully and of the wooden beams are still many preserved and well integrated. Our room "Cape Town" was decorated in African style. It was too dark. Coffee Maker Project. But only 2 capsules of coffee ... shower not functionally thought out. The grid shelf too big, everything falls through. The shower head is fixed. The shower can only be hung in the wall direction. If she does not want to wash her hair, she'll get wet anyway. The fixed shower head drips like crazy ... The bathroom is very large and equipped with TV. Unfortunately you get for both TVs (even in the bedroom) only very bad reception (snow) ... That should not be. We would have to carry the suitcases ourselves. My husband booked the hotel for me as a birthday present for my 60th birthday. The hotel would also be informed, as the breakfast table should be decorated accordingly. The table was decorated and nicely set. The waiter has gone to great lengths. Congratulated me from the hotel but no one. That's disappointing. The hotel was not booked. There was no waste bin on the breakfast table. The butter and jam containers we had to place on the table. The breakfast is plentiful, fresh and tasty. In the evening we ordered the 5-course menu. A pleasure. Very nicely done. Too bad that you hardly speak German here. Each course was explained in English. The menu is also in English. Not very helpful. The garden must be mentioned, as it is very lovingly designed and well maintained. We were also at the bar. The service but only at long intervals the way there. Had to wait a long time ... For us a new experience and completely different, what else we book. But we will not book there a second time.

In this crazy time still delicious food. Hotel rooms transformed into a dining room to receive guests in this way. Enjoyed a delicious 6 course dinner with wine pairing. Bart, the chief chef, has put a great menu on the table!

Beautiful large terrace where you can relax. Price, quality ratio is not right with high tea.

1Juni had a high tea was good ,, only the service was very disappointing. Everything was served and then a pot of tea water was put down and walked away, although the tea, sugar was not replenished !!!! Was with my daughters and we felt that we were not so welcome !!! Waitress hope you will be better customer friendly !!!!

I expected a lot more from the high tea at the well-known restaurant de beukenhof. + that I feel terribly fooled to have to pay 18.25 for 2 sauvignon blanc and a 0.75 liter sparkling water. The bill initially contained 4 wines and a bottle of sparkling water for 21 euros as much. Rara how is that possible? They certainly cannot count there.

Awesome location for a weekend with your beloved one. Is it that short and sufficiently describes the experience you would experience? No. It is not. Living at Beukenhof from Friday to Sunday once in a while is unforgettable, especially unforgettable to the beloved one and certainly to yourself. They will not create the fairytale. You will. But the friendly staff, the environment, the cuisine, the beautiful surroundings and some money in your pocket will complete your beginning and form something special for both of you or all of you. Enjoy!

Enjoyed a five course dinner. Nice bottle of wine. Calm stetting, love the garden !!! So beautifully lit in the evening with the ancient beech with swings ...

I've been with my company and chosen a vegetarian menu. Was the only one not provided with any information on what I was going to eat. In the end the dishes were poor salads or collections of side dishes from the other main plates. I was starving and what I ate was rather below average quality. I don't want to know how much have they paid for that. Selection of wine was fairly ok. Other dishes seemed ok, but other guests were not extremely happy. The place may be nice for a drink, I won't come back again for a meal.

We hebben hier enkele weken geleden gegeten en omdat ik er nog steeds met plezier aan terug denk schrijf ik er toch een review over.

We hebben een 4-gangen menu op met wijn arrangement, de gerechten waren heerlijk en de wijnen paste bij de gerechten (al vond ik het vreemd dat bij het dessert we twee soorten port kregen voor hetzelfde dessert, wel leuk dat ik zo meer heb kunnen proeven ;D).
De gerechten die voor mij er tussen uit sprongen waren de bento-box, de coquilles en de steak tartare. De bento-box was een heerlijke combinatie van kleine gerechtjes, de coquilles waren enorm lekker in combinatie met de saus. Bij het dessert van chocolade kregen wij een klein rode biet ijsje wat ik nog niet eerder heb gezien maar ik heel erg graag vaker zou zien, origineel en lekker!

Ik hoop hier zeker nog een keer terug te komen.

Coffee and tea way too expensive. Looks nice inside and out. Nice with the swings in the tree. Service did not come out and we had to call. Also came back afterwards to ask if we wanted anything else. No honey served with fresh mint tea. Was later brought immediately. Whipped cream ran out at 2 p.m. Tables and chairs were dirty and were not cleaned.

Made a high tea with girlfriend and our mothers.
Enjoyed immensely. Received with prosecco. Then a delicious appetizer and then the various sweets with the tea. Worth repeating. And that in a super beautiful building.
