Very very unprofessional had to be seen a week before procedures then after preoeration eg laxativeshad the surgery canceled minutes before the surgery

I have been coming to this clinic for over ten years and always the same efficient great service. I am so impressed with the doctors here. I had my previous colonoscopy at Frankston Hospital and had to wait for three hours! in the waiting area before even going into procedure. This clinic always provides great service and close to home...

6weeks ago I made a booking for the 14/6/2016. Confirmed it again on the 7/6/2016 and was given the talk on procedures like to drink that mix and no food from Monday........ Received a message on the 10/6 that my appointment had been given to someone else. Wendy said it was because they didn't write confirmed beside it by their mistake, however rude Lena was extremely rude & said they gave it to an 89 year old lady.
There was no empathy for the fact that I had to rearrange my transport etc. After a while, Lena decided that she could squeeze me in at 2.45. How do you squeeze in a colonoscopy plus a gastroscopy ? No thanks! I now already have a booking elsewhere. As this is a long weekend, they haven't given me one business days cancellation even. So NOT HAPPY JAN!

Exceptional and caring service. This was my first gastroscopy and colonoscopy and Dr. Badov was reassuring and diligent. Naturally I was nervous about the procedures but this was quickly alleviated. I think more important is the fact that this place provides an affordable and high quality service especially in light of the excessive fees that are charged by other private providers, i.e. Cabrini. I would definitely recommend Direct Endoscopy.

I recently had my gastroscopy and colonoscopy here. I must say I was a bit apprehensive and dehydrated by the time of the procedure but all the doctors and nurses were really great and supportive. Very competent staff!

Don't waste your money. You'll end up paying $200.00 for them to misdiagnose you and end up with the same recurring problem you walked in with, with a generous $200.00 making your pockets lighter.

This place is honestly a sham. You'd be better off diagnosing yourself, they're just as clueless as you, just with a fancy document on the wall.

I had my colonoscopy here recently and over the years have been to a few of these day hospitals. This place is efficient with great doctors and nurses. You don't have to sit for six hours waiting to go in for the procedure as I did at Cabrini... I wouldn't go now anywhere else.

Quick, professional and friendly staff. Have had 2 procedures here and happy with the level of care by all staff. Would recommend to friends and family.

I have to say that I took my son in there this morning and he had mistaken that he should have been there at 8.30am, instead he thought it was 8.45am. So we arrived at 8.40 his mistake I know, but the way he/we were spoken to by Anita, I think it was, there was rude and also demeaning. I don't know if she was having a bad day or every day for her is a bad day, but what was a stressful thing for my son to have was made worse by her manner, I also gave him my expired medicare card by mistake so she had a shot at him about that too. Cant believe how much she carried on. Not a nice experience at all.

I was recently a patient at Direct Endoscopy. To be honest I was terrified of the procedure and results... The doctors were very reassuring and nurses were fantastic and caring. Everything went without a hitch. Very competent and caring doctors! This was also a lot less expensive than all the other places I rang... Some charge over 500 dollars out of pocket which is ridiculous... This hospital was only $200 dollars including everything! Highly recommend this place!

I've had a couple of procedures done here, and I feel so comfortable with the staff and the the level of care - the nurses are wonderful! Everything went really smoothly, and it's such a great facility.

Visited for a gastroscopy, the receptionists, doctors and nurses were very friendly and informative. Felt comfortable and at ease during the whole process. Highly recommend Direct Endoscopy.

I did some research before going in on their website. All the doctors seem very competent but still was pretty anxious about the test and results. What I was most impressed is the reassuring and confident doctors - I think I had Dr Kemp. Really very happy with the outcome and nurses as well.
I wouldn't go now anywhere else.

I wanted to share my recent experience with this clinic. I have been to two other clinics before but this is by far the best. Really efficient and caring nurses and doctors. I was really concerned about the anaesthetic but the doctor was fantastic and very reassuring... And it is so much less expensive than other places I have been to! Highly recommended!

I was a recent patient at this clinic and had a wonderful experience! Staring from a very friendly specialist to the anesthetist and caring nurses. The worst part was the preparation the day before but even that was a lot better from I can remember years ago...

Peeved that I have to confirm an appointment that I made.

Took our son in today. He had a 12.30 pm appointment and they only took him in at 2.45pm. When asked why was there such a delay given he had already fasted for more than 26 hours and was getting anxious being his first procedure, the girls at the reception , rather the younger girl was rude had an attitude and talked down to us. We eventually found out that there was an medical emergency which we had seen being taken away almost an hour before. However in the meantime they were taking in people who came after! Again when I enquired was told that the doctor and theatre he was in was delayed however again people before us were being seen to. Third time when I enquired seeing his file being shifted around was when they realised they had possibly not even considered going in order if appointment time rather whoever they felt like!! Both my husband and I have been to this place several times and this was the reason we recommended this to our son but with the level of care and customer service we would never go back here again nor would we recommend this to anyone else. I am extremely disappointed with the receptionist attitude too though I must say the older lady was quite empathetic compared to this younger girl who should not be doing customer service leave alone at a medical procedure clinic which requires a high level of empathy and understanding. She had none and had such a bad attitude. We were talking to other members sitting there and all had the same opinion. I do not understand why it was so hard for the clinic to ensure the time of people s appointment was in line with who was seen first, we all understand that a medical issue can put it back but not that people who are then booked in later go past the earlier ones who are sitting there for 3 hours prior .

I had a recent colonoscopy here as I need to have regular check ups and was very impressed with the doctors and nurses. This is a very efficient place with caring doctors! I would highly recommend!

My experience : hideously understaffed and lacking resources. They try to push through as many people and as quickly as they can. I have had trouble here and my grandfather has too, definitely will not be going back and advising my family not to go here.

Friendly, professional staff and a very affordable service.

I have been coming here for 16 years , service has been great from start to finish except on my last 2 visits I noticed after care was very rushed and felt like I was quickly chucked off the conveyer belt at the end , still feeling drowsy and confused I was rushed to drink my tea get dressed and get out .staff were too loud and too busy talking about there private lives to each other.
Other than that the rest of the staff were fantastic.

I had a colonoscopy last week. Everything went well. I was a bit concerned about the results but fortunately all was ok. Had a bit of mild discomfort after the procedure due to gas but everything settled down very quickly. And just wanted to thank all the nurses and doctors for their care, particularly Gemima. Very reassuring and happy person!

A family member of mine had a procedure here a couple of weeks ago, and I am happy to say that we were very impressed with the level of care and understanding of the doctors and other staff along the way.

I experienced professional, genuine, kind staff. The practice is very clean and I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked in.

Very disappointing to see customers sensitive medical information being posted online in response to a negative review, almost certainly a breach of the Privacy Act 1998.

I hope to see this clinic review their privacy policies and treat their customers with a little bit more sincerity.

I was waiting on the waiting list for a colonoscopy at Frankston Hospital for over six months only to be told that I have to wait for another three months at least... So I rang a few places until I found this clinic. The GPs I agree have no idea what some places charge - up to $700 or more for a colonoscopy. This place was great! The receptionist was very friendly and both the specialist and and anaesthetist were very reassuring. And only $200! I don't understand why I waited so long on the waiting list... Very happy with the service and doctors!

I had my procedures done at another hospital previously as I need to have these regularly because of my medical history and previously paid a fortune - nearly 700 dollars for colonoscopy elsewhere. This hospital is so much better and they don't overcharge patients. The doctors explained everything to me before the test. The other place I went to before they just gave me the anaesthetic and hardly anyone said a word to me. Caring doctors and best experience ever!! Highly recommend!

Second time here,,and like the first no complications..Staff are progptoffes and caring..and on time

The admin staff , doctors , nurses were all great.
However i am concerned about the outdated "bowel preparations instructions" they provide clinical information only with no patient centred information:
1. Why do you have to purchase 4 sachets when only 3 are required, who do I give the spare to - wastage?
2."Will cause frequent, loose bowel actions"....how often?, I had no idea i would have to visit the toilet more than 20 times, high pressure liquid excretion - would have been good to know more detail?
3."Avoid all red liquids" Why? Is the patient not supposed to know?
4"If necessary you may use barrier cream....." Why? I found out why but had no idea - please be specific as to why.
5 " Do not take anything for 6 hours prior to the test" Why? I ended up feeling quite hydrated, tell us the reason why.

Could not have had a better experience. Completely stress free. Extremely professional and caring.

Thank you I was really impressed. Great service. My GP gave me a referral elsewhere and they were charging over 600 dollars plus for colonoscopy. So I rang around. This lot are great! Only 200 dollars for colonoscopy and totally painless experience. The doctor explained the procedure to me and complications to me. At the end also given the report for my family doctor. Well done!

I ve had family and friends recommend this clinic as I was told it was professional and efficient, I was not disappointed. The receptionist (Monica I believe her name was) was an absolute ball of joy and the other staff members were courteous and receptive; it is rare to find such efficient and kind employees these days. My 18 year old daughter had a colonoscopy recently at the Bayswater clinic. All of the staff were extremely professional and reassuring. Jane at reception was welcoming and put her at ease straight away. Dr Badov was very knowledgable and calming. A special thank you to the excellent care of dr Ang the anaesthetist, who made sure she didn't feel a thing and was quick to recover afterwards. The lovely nurses in theatre and recovery looked after her beautifully. She remarked how friendly everyone had been and that it was over before she knew it.

In the past I have paid ridiculous amounts of money for colonoscopies until I discovered this place. I was so impressed with the level of care, information, professionalism and friendliness from all staff I encountered. 10 times better than the expensive private ones I had.

I have been coming to this clinic now for nearly 20 years and always had best care. Need unfortunately to have regular colonoscopies as I had bowel cancer previously. Same specialist and same caring doctor who found the cancer originally. Highly recommended!

I booked in for an afternoon procedure- both endoscopy & colonscopy tests. Nurses were well informed and prepared my insurance claim and information. Waited for a while before I was referred to Prof. Stuart Roberts. He was good in listening and assured me that he will take care of my procedure for me. Indeed it went well. The anesthetist calmed me down as I freaked out when I went to the room. The IV sedation was good enough to knock me off and before I knew anything, it was already over. I didn't even know what went in and out from my stomach and colon! Fantastic! Scope results were out in a short time and I had to wait for the biopsies results from the pathology.
I'd recommend anyone to go to Frankston or Bayswater clinic for the scope tests.

I recently underwent my first procedure here and I was a little nervous, but turns out I had little reason to be.
The staff were amazingly understanding, helpful and made me feel comfortable at all times.
The doctors were professional, while also friendly.
Everyone made me feel at ease and I would not hesitate to go back for any procedures not just for the first class skills of the doctors but the exceptional customer service of all staff.

My son recently had a colonoscopy at direct endoscopy , the staff were extremely warm and welcoming
and imediatetly put him at ease. For an 18 year old he was nervous and a little anxious, Dr Badov carefully explained the procedure and put him at ease.His manner was exceptional and he was very reassuring.The entire clinic was very professional and state of the art facility.My son also expressed how friendly and caring the staff were through out the experience.It is wonderful to have clinics ,that provide a great service and genuinely care for the patients.

Careful you have wait longer than ur appointment time. They charge you first and don t care afterword I wait more than 1 and half wait disgusting. I know they can blame anything on their procedures. Really very old unprofessional doc. Narre Warren much much better. Not recommend at all. Bad is all way

My third visit and the choice of these folk for my last visit was at my insistence rather than that of my referring GP. Given the stress generally associated with these procedures I have always found all staff (receptionists, nurses and doctors) at this clinic empathetic, patient and friendly and certainly sensitive to our discomfort. Many thanks to you all. Because it s a busy place future patients should arrive a little early to get thru the paperwork.
