Bartender was attentive even though it was a slow Tuesday night. My friend forgot his umbrella but the bartender ran out of the bar with the umbrella in tow before we were too far away. I expect this kind of service from chick-fil-a so I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you kind young female poc bartender who deserves a raise. We will be back because of you.

One the hidden jewels of the city. Rotating craft beer list curated by the owner. Always something new. See national & local bands play Wed-Sat most weeks. Even some Sundays & Mondays. They also have award winning bbq one weekend a month. Half price drafts for happy hour 7 days a week between 5&7pm. Great vegetarian options on the daily menu as well as killer sweet potato fries. Yum.

Great music, great place to chill and have a good beer, they have a great selection. Bartenders are cool and down to earth. Food is good as well. Wednesday open mic for all the up and coming artists in the area. Monthly BBQ around the middle of the month which is award winning =)

The music was great, the service at this place is abysmal. It was ridiculously crowded which is fine, but there was only one bartender for the first 40 minutes that we were standing 2 rows deep at the bar. Don't bring too much cash with you. This establishment doesn't seem to want your money.

Great place to see talented local musicians (Tabla Rasa pictured), get some gastro pub fare, and choose from a giant selection of craft beers. Also have a quaint patio area with outside seating available. Street parking is possible, but is largely a crapshoot, better off taking a taxi or walking.

Daesonsnis a hidden Jem in the Wissahickon Section on Philadelphia.
A corner bar that used to be a dive bar until about 10 years ago whennit was renovated. Dawson's is a corner bar with an intimate feel. Yet they host world class musical acts thanks to owner Dave Wilby and musical act curation by Blinkin Lincoln Sounds, the mastermind of local regular Russel Eisnlohr.
The menu is pretty diverse and on special occasions Tom Berra's Philly Blind Pig is parked outside smoking meats of every description and then some.
Check out Dawson's you won't be disappointed! Guaranteed no two visits will ever be the same!

Spent saint Patrick's day here. The music was incredible, and the food is always delectable. Christmas decorations seem to be up all year and the parking is impossible or it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately it's street parking so there's not much to be done about it. Seriously good food though.

Came here with a co-worker while I was in town and was very impressed. Their food is great, wings are recommended. The beer selection is amazing and whether it is in a can, bottle, or on tap they will have something you love. Well worth the short trip out there from where I was staying.
