Victor Santiago is one of the best instructors I ve had!

I really don't want to give this a star at all. I went to school there and it wasn't no good. Never bother to tell students everything until it was to late. The latest is my son brought me a gift certificate for a foot and facial unfortunately, I had some illnesses that kept me from going. I stayed in touch with the person there by the name of Jamie who understood what I had and was going thru so she said that they would honor my certificate. Well then the pandemic came , now it's another year. So, I called and spoke with a Randy and I was told that they will not honor certificate because it's to hold, REALLY. People beware of the place. It's no good with the training or the spa services that they offer. This is my own personal experience. They need to close. .im learning now that they have basically closed the Spa down. Wonder why????

This place has an employee named Melissa Fehr. She purchased a kitten from my DIL under false pretenses and the her and her friend Ashley Hurdel attempted to shake her down for at least $600 and after my DIL refused due to the fact that they did not provide any evidence whatsoever they began an assault against her on social media. Melissa Fehr who works here has unleashed what can only be described in my opinion as a mentally unstable woman on our family. It has been a nightmare dealing with these unethical, deceitful people. Steer clear of this woman and steer clear of this place as long as they employ her!

I graduated from the Medical Assistance program back in I believe 2017. Here it is, 2021 and I am still looking for a job while still taking my continuing education classes. I have had multiple interviews for each office just too tell me that my schooling wasn't considered experience and that I would have needed an externship in order to work for them. I do not understand why they never offered it too us and when I asked for help I was always given an excuse or the run around. I have been paying my student loans for a degree that I now cannot use and it is honestly so upsetting. Their so called "job placement" is a complete joke. They would send you jobs that want 2+ years of experience. Then they call asking why you haven't found a job and when you explain it too them they just do not care. The whole damn place is a joke. DO NOT GO HERE.

I m not sure why there s so many bad reviews for Dawn on google.. I absolutely loved it here. I just finished up my CNA course here and I m so sad it s over. I feel well educated on my skills leaving dawn, and they ve definitely provided me with the tools to find a job upon leaving. I ll definitely recommend dawn to anyone looking to get a jumpstart on their future.

Your experience at Dawn is 100% based on what you make it. If you go in with a bad attitude, your experience will probably be bad. I attended 2 different programs (1 on campus and 1 online) and I have almost nothing but stellar reviews (no place is 100% perfect). The one problem I did have was specifically with one single staff member. I can't tell you how many times I would see a student come in late every single day then get mad that they didn't know what was going on and actually have the audacity to say the instructor wasn't teaching them anything. (they did, but you showed up 3 hours late and missed it.) I cant tell you how many times I heard someone say "I pay good money so you better...". You DO pay good money to be here, so please show up and let them do their job. Let them educate you. Sit in class instead of roaming the halls or leaving class to talk on your phone. When you do have a problem arise, approach it professionally and know that not everything can be fixed in a matter of seconds.
This is a school for adults. They should not need to hold your hand. They are preparing you for your career in every aspect they can. Show up, do your work, be respectful and responsible. If you put 100% into your education, you will love it here. Every single bad review I read has to do with them wanting to bad mouth the people that wouldn't cater to them and their poor attitude.
If you are looking at their programs, go! Put your all into it and you will get what you are looking for.
One of the other problems I see being tossed around is staff turnover. Guess what? Sometimes people look great on paper, then get into the classroom and just don't deliver. Dawn will not tolerate a bad instructor and will put someone in that will be better for the job.They actually want you to have a good experience! If you go with the flow you will start to understand why things happen.
