Dave was a cool operator who was attentive to our needs and brought our vision for our big day to life. He thought of everything, was always calm and handled the crowd without breaking a sweat. Oh...and the photos. Wow. I didn't dare dream of such beautiful photos. Could not recommend him highly enough!
Dave was our photographer for our wedding about a month ago and all we can say is WOW. His photos are epic and along with this, is a great human who is awesome to be around. Even if you are someone who thinks you can't pose well for snaps, he is so clever and can capture the perfect moments without making you feel like you are posing. Stalking a friends wedding photos on Facebook I fell in love with the style and story telling of their photos. I stalked further and discovered David Le was their photographer and I got in touch immediately. I knew he was the person who would best capture our wedding in an honest and beautiful way. David had great communication skills and helped work with our budget and timeframes. He listened to what we wanted, what our concerns were and got to know us. As stressful as wedding planing can be, David made the process very easy.
We had a destination wedding in Samoa so it was important to us that our photographer was a cool person. David was incredible. We booked a little engagement shoot with him a few months before our wedding, so that we could meet up and get to feel more comfortable in front of the camera. I posted on facebook about Manawatu photographers for my wedding and i narrowed the recommendations down to two photographers - David Le being one of the two. The one thing that made me choose David Le (other than his amazing work I have seen) was his personality and prompt response. Just from one email I could tell he was down to earth and would be awesome to work with, and I wasn't wrong. Leading up to the wedding he was so easy to communicate with, he has this awesome webpage which tells you literally EVERYTHING you need to know, everything he needs from you and tips and tricks about your wedding day. I learned so much about how I want the day to go just from his webpage. On the day of my wedding he took some photos of me outside and my veil flew off my head and he saved the day by chasing it all the way down the drive way in the middle of a busy road lol. During the cocktail hour I didn't stop hearing my guests comment on how awesome my photographer was - everywhere I would go, someone would say something about how great he is. During the group photos he also made all the guests laugh and smile with ease. He made things so easy, I didn't feel nervous in front of his camera. He got some beautiful shots of us and our guests, and even got them to us within 2 weeks of the wedding - amazing! Our sneak peak shots were available a few days after our wedding day too which was so cool to share with everyone. Thank you so much for beautifully snapping the memories of our special day, Dave! You now have a whole new bunch of fans from my wedding day lol if you're trying to decide on whether David Le is the photographer for you...stop overthinking and just book him in! You will not regret it!

David was OUTSTANDING!! From start to finish he was very professional yet friendly and loved his banter! David has an amazing eye for photography and you can see this from the pics below. Everyone commented on how well David fitted into our wedding- he never got in anyone's way and was always smiling and looking like he was having a fab time. We have had so many comments on our pics and we would not hesitate on recommending David to anyone. We want to do it all over again!! Biggest piece of advise - don't go budget on a Photographer - you pay for what you get and what we got was EPIC pictures that we cant stop looking at!!
