Davenport Trucking Review

I can't speak on the company but I can say they have some really good people that work for them. I was broke down this morning I had a flat across from the post office in Hot Springs. Not alot of people come through that area that early. Me and my cousin. (2 panicked females) were struggling to change the tommy or Tony came to our rescue. The tire was stuck, he could have easily just left but he worked and worked until I was able to drive my car again. What was one of the worst mornings or couple weeks for that matter turned around, thanks to him showing me some kindness. I can't remember his name for sure but his truck was 592. Thank you sir for helping me. I had already been there a long time and probably would still be there if not for you.

Not one to share a bad review, but just witnessed some of the worst driving I ve ever seen in an 18-wheeler. Going north on 25 headed towards Asheville. I also noticed that this is not the first review stating unacceptable driving from their employees. I would certainly take a second thought before letting someone drive my cargo like this.

I worked here for a little while and besides a little back and forth talking between the driver's. This is the best company I have ever worked for!!
Tony Smith is the best and I hate everyday that I left before I gave it a chance because Tony looked out for me and made sure I had runs!. Great guy!!!!!
I missed working with him!! I I had a chance to work for Davenport Transportation again I would retire there!!! Hands down!!!!
I would like to apologize to Tony Smith for nothing give it a real shot!!

Driver doing 75 mph(posted 50 mph) on 441 eastbound 8:00 am today in Knoxville TN. 05/05/19. Raining, standing water, already dangerous road. This driver needs to slow down, even in the best of conditions they would have no control if something happened.

Good company, they haul for the Post Office. I know this because I'm a commercial driver.

Driver 465 on 411 coming into Maryville, TN tailgating terrible and moving in and out of traffic as if he had a race car. 2nd time I have gotten to experience this person. please hire some better drivers. He hits my truck, and your insurance won t be happy.

We were cut off driVing from Commerce by truck 509. He didn't even hesitate after us blowing the horn with my disabled child in the car. Like he was in a hurry. Just tell him to slow down and be more mindful of people. He is probably a good person though.

I was coming on 316 this morning trying to merge into traffic when on of the truck drivers failed to move over so that can merge in. Basically driving the same pace i was trying to merge and i swerved to the side of the road to avoid hitting the truck.. couldn t get any information on the truck because after that point he sped up too fast to catch any information.

Insurance cost more than obama care but other than that love the people n love the job
