Danny's Bar and Grill Review

Great burgers. Food was delicious. The bartender was not very friendly. Made me feel like she could care less if I was there because I wasn't a local.

Good food, huge portions only complaint was service was a little slow. Had to ask 3 times to get silverware. Kind of hard to eat a salad without a fork. Hostess brought the table behind us table ware when she seated them and just stared at us like she realized she was forgetting something but couldn't remember what it was. Same person who said they were out of silverware 10 minutes earlier.

a pretty good place to watch a Chiefs game. Good beer selection and decent bar food...

Great food, service wasn't great during our most recent visit

The beef tacos were cool but the chicken in the chicken tacos needs to be seasoned some more no seasoning on the chicken

This place used to be good, not anymore! The service was terrible & the sandwich I got was even worse. Turkey & Swiss Melt gave it to me cold. I sent it back & they literally did nothing to it, still just as cold. This has been the second time in a month coming here. I won't be returning!

Not what I was hoping for. Drinks were okay and so was the staff, however the food was a 1 star

This place is a joke. The staff are the most rude people I have ever seen in a restaurant. They are not friendly or inviting. The owner of this establishment needs to reevaluate their staff if they want to continue business. I will never come back to this place again and I will let everyone of my experience.

Only thing better than Taco Tuesday at Danny's is Taco Thursday! Be sure and get there early. It starts at 4. By 6:30 the place is packed, especially on game days.

Seriously, I am in pain.
No beer or drink menu, was told to ask and server would tell me if they "have it".
About 20 screens, and one baseball game.
Haven't even ordered food yet and I'm ready to leave.

Great food and reasonable prices. This is a great spot to watch a game or hang out with friends. Friendly staff.

I finally decided to try a new Bar &Grill near the legends mall so I went to taco tuesday at Danny's Bar & Grill and my experience was horrible we were never greeted, we also had to wait 45 minutes to be seated but when the time came for that the people who worked there passed us up and let others be seated and we were supposed to be next.. I think that everyone in there working were pretty young looking and un organized regarding there customer service skills. I don't think I will ever visit this Bar and Grill on taco tuesdays or any other day.

The waitress was extremely rude she didn't take the time to allow me to order and rushed through my order and messed it up several times.... she even messed up my bill ...so after i complained and allowed her to over hear the complaint she tossed my card on the table while I was sitting there! It my self restraint not to just snatch her by then... I made sure she and management knew I was very displeased with Taylor! I will be contacting the owner in the morning!

Food wasn't very good. Our knifes weren't very clean, so we didn't use them. Told the waitress as we were leaving, but wasn't concerned since she got her tip. This was a Wednesday & they weren't busy.

They have really great food with really bad service

I have only been twice, but both times I was impressed with their service and hope they keep it up.

Staff was not friendly, the service was average at best and the overall experience was depressing.

I work at Danny's Bar and Grill North. I wish more customers would actually call their server/bartender out by name on here, be it good or bad. It's always nice to know that your boss hears nice things about you, and the issues with sub-par service deserve to be addressed.

Ordered a chimichanga, got a burrito. Ordered a taco salad w/no onions and it was covered in onions. Waitress handed me a plate and told me to pick them out. What a joke this place was. We will never ever eat there again. If you screw up order make it right.

It was a very frustrating experience. It was our servers 1st day and she didn't have any training or help. Our questions were meet with "I don't know." We told her she should ask someone who does know when the customer asks a question, not just say "I don't know " and leave it at that. Who we assume is the senior server came by the table and collected the payment and was very rude. She continued to give us dirty looks while we finished our drinks and on our way out cut us off and stared us down as she walked by. It was a horrible experience.

Terrible service. It took them almost 10 minutes to seat us after I asked a bar tender. Once we finally got shown to a dirty table our server never showed up. We got tired of waiting so we got up and left. None of the staff said anything to us on our way out. Just terrible.

Good food, good prices, great place to watch sporting events or have a party. They have a large area that can be reserved.

What kind of a bar and grill doesn't have mozzarella sticks???? I aware they used to be on the menu at some point. It is like a Mcdonalds without cheese burgers or barbeque restaurant without fries. And the brownie I got didn't even have a cherry on top when the menu said that it would have a cherry.

Wow, so I've written a review a few other places, tried to handle the situation privately, and nothing.
My service was less than pleasant. Sure, it was a game day I understand places get busy... However not the case. Our server, Jenna, sat down and was talking to a guy at another table, just next to us. The women in the booth behind us kept trying to get her attention and finally asked us if we got her name. We told them her name is Jenna then she finally went to the other table.
As for the food.... Lukewarm. Ordered and appetizer and our meals. Meals came out first, lukewarm... Brought by another server. When informing this server I had an appetizer he went to check. He brought the food to me and informed me it had just been "sitting back there" it was also lukewarm. I understand people make mistakes, but at least apologize. No apologies.
When asked for 2 boxes she brought one.
Didn't ask me for a refill but asked the person I was with completely ignoring me.
If she was busy and running around not being able to check on us, that'd be different, but she felt it was social hour instead. Perhaps she should find a new career because waitressing clearly isn't for her and it's not for everyone. And to whomever is in charge of responding to reviews should find something else as well. Your lack of response to so many is appalling. Not everyone is looking for something FREE, but an apology is free, doesn't cost anyone anything.

Great place! Great bartenders! Can't wait to come back!

Gotta rate it a 4, even though we come here a lot for our weekly family outing.

The food is really good. The buffalo dipped chicken tenders is my staple that I always enjoy.

The service, however, is always slow for some reason. I don't know if they are frequently understaffed, or whatever other reason.

If you're not in a hurry and don't mind waiting for a little bit, then the food is definitely worth checking out.

We stopped for lunch during weekday. Great lunch! Service was prompt, food delivered correct & hot. We had a very good lunch, had time to chat...no rush! It was very good!

I always have a great time here and the food it delicious! Try the bang bang shrimp you wont be disappointed! Bartenders are friendly and fast

Went to Danny's for Taco Tuesday. Order margaritas and some fried pickles. As you can see the drink had a long strand of human hair in it and the saucer given for the horrible fried pickles had a strand of hair on it as well. The waitress seemed to be dehumanized. She offered no apology for the 3 incidents. I asked to speak to the manager on duty; which ended up being the opposite of the waitress. Needless to say, I will never return and I hope those reading this do the same. THIS PLACE IS FORBIDDEN !

Slow service. Took close to an hour to get food when not busy. Food was luke-warm & very ordinary. I had blackened chicken. The blacken seasonings we're sprinkled after cooking instead of cooked into the meat. Probably a good sports bar, but not a great restaurant.

The food here is good. The service is good. There are tons of TVs. The menu is really varied so you could eat here a lot without getting bored.

Our Taco Tuesday experience wasnt great at all our hostess was not inventive at all. He never came back to see if we needed anything taco orders were wrong! But the bartender Claire deserves 5 star all by herself!!! She was very proactive and sloved the simply situation. Thank you Claire!!

Met up after game. Great food and cold drinks. Wonderful staff as well! We will be back.

A tad dirty. Floor was filthy. My plastic cup had leftover food on it post washing. Service mediocre. TV's were great and beer is beer. Kind of a sports bar and less of a bar & grill.

Always have good food at Danny's. My favorite place to eat.

Sat for 20 minutes on a Monday at 4:30 in a not so crowded bar, and no one ever waited on us! Left and went across the street to Dave and Busters!

A nice place that isn't overcrowded even on weekends. Decent food, typical bar menu. Had a brand new waitress so delays were expected. It's nice for a relaxed environment.

Love Danny's! Great food, great atmosphere but the waitresses are not to friendly or just look like they want to be somewhere else. I'm sure not ALL are that way and the food is so good I'll definitely keep going!

Awesome bar, open late which is nice because not much in the area is. So thanks Danny's for being a night owl like I am.

Buffalo chicken sandwich was great. They have a great lunch specials.

Our food was okay we must have got the end of the french fry bag because we got all the crumbs our waitress was fantastic and they have lots of TVs.

Small skirmish broke out by 7PM. The staff seemed to see it as entertainment. It was not handled properly at all. Don't over serve then call the cops on your drunk patrons. Good prices on drinks though.

Good service, great environment. Their wings come whole. Simply not a fan of wings served that way. I'm not sure if I've ever seen wings served that way. They were naked with sauce on the side. Other than that it was a good time.

Food is delicious and inexpensive. Lots of good options.

We had our mothers dinner after her funeral there. Had a selection of appetizer trays. Very good and a excellent service.

Fun sports bar and it had a good atmosphere. I wasn't here long but our night was good and our waitress was quick.
