Recommended youth hostel, own bathroom / toilet,

Tip: Book a room with a view of the canal side, because on the parking lot side, firstly, there is no nice view and secondly rather noisy.

Silk sleeping bags as they are accepted in other youth hostels around the world (not sleeping bags, but more like sheets) are not accepted here. Either you bring your own bed linen or you have to rent them there. Unfortunately only white covers.

Close to the center.

Shower water runs into the bathroom, as there is no boundary wall. Art on the walls is fun and beautiful, but sometimes also bizarre and bizarre. A matter of taste.

TV no German channels.

Unfortunately there is a charge for the Internet.

We paid so much money for the room, had booked a double room for 2 people what did you get room with 2 bunk beds and 2 single beds. The cleanliness in the room and bathroom grottoes bad so that I disinfected everything with even used wet towels .this accommodation should look for new cleaners or check it
So I don't recommend it here because you can sleep in the car, which is cleaner than the room here
And the breakfast could have a little more choice than just cheese sausage and jam

This DanHostel was the worst i had tried in Denmark.

Maybe it was due to the rain but from the shower it was coming an awful smell that ruined the stay.

The Hostel is next to the viking ship museum and there is a free parking close by.

The Room have a nice painting with the walls painted with rune-like drawing.

Nice place but keep a close eye on where you park in the yard that belongs to the Hostel. This is because not all places belong to them
It cost me a fine of 750 kr
SVENDBORG HOSTEL burden shoulders much more clearly with That !!!

Great location, therefore 2 stars, but room was dirty and mattress was old and dirty. Pillows needed replacement and duvets for a boil wash.
The breakfast was too poor for the price but clearly edible.

A cozy place for a single or two nights close to the harbor in Roskilde. Their breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of selected and cold fresh juices. If the weather is good you can enjoy the food outside along with the small pools located along the hostel.
It's cheap and a good place for the price.

We arrived outside the normal reception hours, there was an envelope for another guest, he had packed our envelope and was therefore in our 4 person room while he himself had booked a single room. Called the number on the envelope, in the end we had to go and get our bed linen ourselves from the room that was actually intended for us but was caught by the other guest and moved to another room. The staff did not come, that disappointed me. Last year we were there too. Even then we were not impressed, but the nice Italian restaurant directly across the street had made us decide to go back. We won't do that again. Unfortunately.

I personally love this place, it's in a beautiful location near a harbor and there are multiple small food and ice cream places, as well as an Italian restaurant next to the hostel. Even better, the Viking ship museum is only a two.minite walk from the hostel, and you'll have the option to ride on a recreated Viking ship. It's worth the 120 DDK, promise. The only downside to the hostel is that is rather popular, and that means early morning noise, and we had a small problem with ants because we had to leave the window open since there is no central air or fans (We managed to come to Scandinavia during a freak heat wave). Other than that, I wholeheartedly recommend.

Was at the hostel as a group of 30. The rooms had nice beds and a nice bathroom. But there was no hand soap in the bathroom, so we had to wash our hands in the toilet by the lobby.
We were not allowed to use the hiking kitchen because we were a group. So no need to bring your own coffee powder ... In addition, it costs 30 kroner to be allowed to fill your thermos with coffee in the morning ... Dinner was part of the stay, but it got up too quickly, and was also nothing to shout hurray for. One evening the last ones got no meat, and had to settle for potatoes and pasta and rye bread with butter. Not super smart when groups are not allowed to use the kitchen!
We went to Fakta to buy a beer for the conference room above the lobby in the evening, but were told that we were not allowed to bring our own beer, and they referred to the expensive vending machine in the lobby. 20, - for a lager.
WiFi costs per. hour, and him at the front desk suggested that we use our phones as a portable hotspot ...
We were given packed lunch bread and cold cuts in the morning, but the first morning we ran out of rye bread before everyone had had.

They get two stars because there were rolls for breakfast. Everything else was hopeless.

Conclusion: As a group, the hostel is extremely poor. Bring your own hand soap and leave your own drinks and food at home - unless it can be made in the room without any kitchen utensils.
