After more than a year of dancing with Arthur Murray in Montrose, I can confidently say it has been a life-changing experience. The instructors here are genuine experts who bring both skill and warmth to every lesson. From my very first visit, I felt like part of a supportive community rather than just another student. Their constant, kind encouragement has helped me grow not only as a dancer but as a person. Through their guidance, I’ve discovered deeper meaning in the art form and found a healthy, positive outlet for my emotions. I genuinely look forward to every class, and I’m so grateful to call this studio my second home.

During the pandemic, Katie Padilla made virtual lessons seamless, expertly breaking down every step, turn, and timing. You can tell Katie and Erick were born to dance, and they’ve created an environment where everyone from beginners to seasoned pros can keep growing. I’ll always consider this my home away from home.

I was initially skeptical about how a virtual class would go, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. Since the pandemic forced us to stay indoors, I decided to jump in, and it’s been a game-changer. Learning to dance on my own at first was a bit tricky, but the advantages quickly became clear. The online format actually lets Katie zoom in on the little details and break down every move more precisely than we often can in a crowded studio. She has this amazing ability to anticipate questions I didn’t even realize I had. Katie is a fantastic instructor who makes every session at her Montrose studio a joy.
