Let me start by saying I have travelled a lot! 60 countries and 7 continents. I am flexible and easy going when I travel. This trip was so important to me as I have waited years to take it and save to do it privately. I booked with Memphis tours to visit Egypt and when I went to Jordan they arranged me to travel with Dakkak tours. First off they were 30 minutes late meeting me at the border to take me through immigration which is part of the private tour I paid for. I went through on my own and when they finally arrived to get me at which point I thought I might have to take a random taxi cause there is nothing at the border and I had no cell service. Driver arrived and I had the wrong visa so he took me back in and we fixed it. No guide for the 4 days I was with them. Instead the driver talked about what he could. I feel like I missed out on so much and even what the tour said they would visit, it wasn t visited. Of course sights are amazing and beautiful. But I paid for guides and a private tour. I didn t get that. I would go elsewhere and book with someone who gives you what you pay for.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a travel agent. They ignored my case completely when trying to book an internal trip with them. A staff member of this agency told me that " I am sleeping..."when I tried to call her at 2pm!
Even the manager wasn't comfortable to talk to. This is not the way to deal with your potential customers!

My travel buddy broke her ankle in Petra while on the tour with Dakkak Tours, the team at Dakkak and especially our driver Khalad were amazing. They helped getting her to hospital (where she needed surgery to place plate and pins in her ankle) they helped arrange everything for us. Continued to stay at the hospital to ensure she was OK. Even bought her flowers. Compared to the travel insurance company who did nothing.
I can also recommend the tour company as were fantastic prior to this incident and were very helpful and caring.

I booked through another tour operator (Menphis tour) who relied on Dakkak Tours. Impeccable guide (Tareq) and driver (Maher). The program was 100% respected except the visit to the mosque in Amman not made due to time constraints. The only drawback, having chosen to visit Jordan in the period of Easter 2019, being included in a group, uneven by age and needs, before 27 people (including us) then 38 !! This led to considerable inconveniences especially because we were staying in three different hotels.
Congratulations anyway to the guide and the driver who have been very patient especially with really absurd people !!

I took a Jordan tour with Dakkak Tours in March 2019. The hotel chosen through Memphis Tours was one and put me in another where to go to the restaurant and reception one had to cross the street. And it was cold and raining ... The van that drove us from Amman to Petra and elsewhere was packed with people and had no place for everyone's bags. Seat hard and uncomfortable, could not be put back because it hit the knees of those behind. The van soiled sand and never cleaned during the days of the tour. Had long trips being a real sacrifice. The guide ran ahead and disappeared from sight of some people who had trouble walking fast (or rather running). It was also very rude. I know several people called the representatives complaining, but they did nothing to improve or change driving, as we seemed to be in a cage without being able to move. The seat belt was so tight it could not be put it. Places so wonderful to see, but that required this sacrifice. Luckily, the part organized in Egypt and Dubai and Abu Dhabi by Memphis Tours went very well with excellent guides and transport.

2 nights in Jordan 11/5/18 to 11/7/18. Millions ...
2 nights in Jordan 11/5/18 to 11/7/18. Millions thanks to our caring, safe, competent and knowledgeable driver WAEL ZATREH who has picked us up at the Queen Alia Airport and drove us to Amman and Dead Sea the 1st day and Petra the 2nd day. He was passionate, humorous, informative, and spoke English clearly. He helped us with the confusing procedure, visiting different windows, to pay for the EXIT fees and waited for us to safely get on the bus to cross the Allenby Bridge to Jerusalem. After the spending 2 nights in Jerusalem, we again went back to Jordan via the Allenby Bridge. Wael met us again (oh boy we were very excited to see him.) He gave us a tour to the old downtown Jordan and had dinner with us. He even treated us to the Jordan popular delicious dessert Kunafeh. Thank you for the safe drive. We have gained a friend in Jordan for life. Thank you DAKKAK for assigning us the best driver Wael. Also thank you the person (sorry forgot the name ) who greeted us at the airport when we arrived and helped us through custom. Thank you to Farah Saber (sale director) who helped us obtaining the multiple entry visas into Jordan. Thank you to the last person also named was Wael, the company boss's son, who helped us through passport control and checked in with AirFrance for final boarding back to America. Thank you very much for the memory of a lifetime.
