I truely have nothing bad to say about the Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa. We arrived to super friendly staff who escorted us to our stunning room. The room was absolutely beautiful, overlooking the rainforest with sounds from the streams, birds, frogs, it was magic! The breakfast was scrumptious, and the dinner was one of the best meals I have had on my trip to North Queensland. Highly recommend, if I could give this six stars I would!

Fantastic value stay right in canopies of the Daintree! We just left after 3 fantastic nights at the Eco Lodge. All staff are so welcoming, geniunely helpful and just so so lovely. Situated right in the daintree, but ideally located for trips to Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation, PD etc.. restaurant is beautiful both for included breakfast, and so a lovely candlelit dinner. Its so lovely to see people so passionate and have so much pride in the beautiful location that they live .
Note: we stayed with an 8 month old baby and they were amazingly accommodating

Stayed 2 nights, loved waking up to the sounds of the rainforest. Simple yet elegantly designed rooms and bathrooms. The hotel's Julaymba Restaurant is really nice, with fantastic food and service, but make sure you book a table! Great place to stay for journeying in the Daintree area or going up to Cape Tribulation. Note that the waterfalls bush track out back is not an easy walk, was a bit overgrown and is still a work in progress; make sure you have insect repellent!

absolutely gorgeous place to stay right in the daintree. the rooms are up in the trees and it's so lovely to hear all of natures sounds. we especially loved the tub out on the balcony. there's a nice easy walk right there to a beautiful fall but watch out for mosquitoes. service was amazing and the food in the restaurant is delicious. would most definitely go again.

Really lovely place from the time we were welcomed until the time we left with nothing too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful and well laid out with ample room for all our stuff down to the balcony which was just lovely to sit an unwind. On our late arrival the staff organised a delightful cheese and meat platter with a few drinks just to make sure we didn t go without. Nothing was too much trouble and really enjoyed cocktail boot camp, a true highlight.

This is a really beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The attached restaurant has fresh and delicious menu. Best of all, there is a waterfall in the eco-lodge, just a 5 minute walk from the rooms. Staff are very welcoming too. If you re visiting Far North Queensland, you should stay at Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa.

Beautiful spot in the rainforest, a wonderful experience with staff who really go above and beyond to help you out. We loved our room with the rainforest view from the balcony, the food was delicious (and gluten free well catered for), and the breakfast options were a lovely surprise.

My only negative would be that the pool area was covered in leaves, just a simple 5 minute sweep would have made it so much more welcoming. Otherwise a great stay!

Simple: paradise on earth! I enjoyed 3 days at the hotel and I found them spectacular. The treatment received, the facilities, the nature, the relaxation that is breathed, the sounds upon awakening, the FOOD, and in general ... Everything, of 10! I was tempted to stay and live there haha

Very peaceful place with running water Creek which added to the atmosphere . Went there for scones and tea. The scones were just beautiful with loads cream and jam. We admired the cabins above us and decided to look into staying there soon. There were very lovely.

Fantastic place. Loved every single thing about our stay apart from it being not long enough. The rooms, location, food, staff, surroundings, all of it. Amazing!! The the degustation dinner in the private garden, WOW!! We will be back

This property has the potential to be amazing. Whilst the surroundings were beautiful, our room (number 1) was extremely outdated and felt more like a basic motel room on stilts. Stained walls, poor paint job, stale smell and random old furniture. For $380 I would expect higher room standards and not to be placed next to the main road, with a view straight into reception. Additionally, the pool was littered with dead insects. Despite the staff being very friendly, I would not return to this property unless it gets a major face-lift or drops in price (by half).

Fantastic location set in the rain forest. Great amenities and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is great and well presented. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing get away.

We came here from a Red Balloon voucher that included a guided walk, lunch and a spa treatment. The staff seemed a little confused by the booking and like they hadn't seen this package deal before.
The walk was the best part with a lovely Aboriginal man by the name of Juan, who was very informative, pleasant and kept us very engaged.
The food in the restaurant was only average. The day spa treatment itself was nice but we were outside in a covered area with a highly noisy fan going the whole time and a gardener started hosing the roof above us half way through which really spoiled the atmosphere.
The location of the Daintree Eco Lodge is simply amazing but the place is unfortunately is in need of a face-lift and a lot of work.

I was met by a very friendly staff member names Stephanie. She showed me around the place and made me a fantastic gin and tonic.
I will be passing through here on my way back down to stay the night.

Amazing food, beautiful spacious rooms, good service and stunning surroundings. The quality of ingredients was great and impressive use of locals products in degustation menu. Impressive experience

Sensational place that comes with it's own waterfall. Then there is the food and the friendly service. Did I mention the food? It is a little more pricey than some other options but you do really get what you pay for. And you can't take it with you and only live once. So make the best of it.

A must. One of the best spa treatments I've had. Great food, the pork in the dinner menu was it pick. Breakfast was also good (and included in the rate). Loved the fact that the menu was all local produce.

The Daintree Ecolodge is easily one of the best places I have stayed in the world. It is stunning and so relaxing. The staff are all amazing and get to know you personally by name. Everything they do there is sustainable which is so admirable. Lastly, my husband and I are both vegans and the chef there is amazing and can cater to any diet. I can t wait to go back!

This is definitely a great location, however the service, the food and age of the rooms don't justify the cost. If it's were todo it again I would stay in Port Douglas and drive out to Daintree.

The absolute highlight of our three week honeymoon all throughout far North Queensland. Luxury treetop rooms in a tropical paradise. The small restaurant is nonetheless excellent. Don't miss the expensive but oh-so-worth it massage and day spa service.

Absolutely beautiful location with amazing rooms high up in the forest. Not all rooms are well maintained, however. Food was fantastic from a friendly chef. Bartender was skilled with cocktails and other beverages. All staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Listen To The Night Sounds of the Rainforest - At Canopy Level

This is a very nicely executed, moderately small lodge right in the Daintree Rainforest. Really excellent food; friendly and helpful staff (they made bookings for us for several activities that worked out very well). The highlight for us, however, was sitting in a netted balcony area 10 meters off the ground after dark - listening to the amazing sounds of the rainforest. Truly a memorable moment!

The Daintree Ecolodge is simply amazing! I cannot say how much we loved this place: from the reservation, to the amazing dinner, the generous breakfasts and the beautiful cabins, this place is stunning! We did the five day luxury package and it was amazing... but what really made this place so wonderful was the staff: each and everyone of them seem to do everything they could to take make our anniversary celebrations perfect! This place is a must for a luxury holiday in the Daintree... simply one of the best!!!!

I visited here in June while 7 months pregnant on our babymoon. It was the most tranquil and blissful day spa I've ever been to! Ella (Ellie?) was brilliant and so attentive to my needs and was able to tailor a package for my bump. It was the most amazing 2 hours of my life! I floated out of there. Make sure you treat yourself to the full body exfoliation, wrap and rain therapy (Vichy shower). It is worth every penny! Thanks so much

Daintree Ecolodge was the highlight of my trip to Australia. The Location, staff, scenery and wildlife were all amazing. To top it off, the resturant was out of this world - the best meal I've ever had. If you're visiting daintree make sure you spend a night here

Some people complained about the rooms being run down, but those seem to be older reviews. We got a very nice newly renovated room which we were very happy with. Perched above the little creek which runs through the property. The room is fully screened and completely open to the outside. You hear all the forest sounds throughout the night.

Admittedly the remaining buildings on the property are a little run down, but they are in the process renovating the buildings.

The restaurant was OK, you don't have many food options in the area unless you bring your own. It was a little over priced, but no more then the the rest of Australia (restaurants) in my opinion.

The staff also really helpful with places to see around the area.

Very poor options and meal sizes were tiny. Going home hungry, very over price for nothing, lied about being able to cater certain types of diets waited an hour for food. DO NOT BOTHER COMING HERE!!!

Quaint setting, FABULOUS food, friendly staff, but the property is small and the rooms are close in proximity. We had #12 which was one of the better bayans as it only has neighbors on one side. The appliances (portable fan, hairdryer, etc) are a bit dirty and need a good cleaning. We came in November and think the price was fair. Overall, a good experience.

Terrible meals. Chef could not accomodate any changes and we waited over an hour with kids for food. Waitress was rude, huffing when we mentioned we hadn't pre booked though there was plenty of spare seating. No one cared we were unhappy with food. Very dissapointing.

Food & location was amazing. We stayed in cabin number 1 which overlooked the pond and outdoor restaurant. Our room seemed fairly dated and abit rough around the edges for the ~300 dollars a night. Great experience but happy we only stayed for a night!

A really nice place to stay, romantic and unique. Good food, great pool, good rooms. I personally missed the wifi in the huts. A television is not important to me, but somehow it is part of the equipment. Also not 5 points from me because I think the prices are too high.
