My son has been seeing Dr Payan for 7 years since he was 4. Extremely satisfied, wont go anywhere else.

I haven't had an eye test in years but decided I probably should (at least make some use of the insurance, right?). I chose Cy-Fair Eyecare on Tuckerton and Barker Cypress because they were close to home and had decent Google reviews.

I am NOT a high revenue customer (I don't use glasses, contacts or anything else) but Dr Jose was awesome, really took his time with me and talked to me patiently about some questions I had.

Additionally, towards the end of the appointment I asked about the possibility of using cosmetic contacts for Halloween and he took time to go find some recommended brands, and show me what they can do. He then sat me down with his assistant (Angelica maybe?) and she taught me how to put them in and take them out, sending me away with a pair of practice lenses and some solution. Because I'd never used lenses before it took some time, I was there about 1.5 hours altogether and I NEVER felt rushed. Everyone was super patient and I'd highly recommend them.

We have been coming here since we moved into the area over 10 years ago. Both Drs have been great to me and my daughters. I appreciate that they have our history and know our individual issues and their hours are pretty convenient too.

They're very professional, patient and friendly. I took my 6 year old and they treated him like family. He even walked out with a new toy because he was good.

Excellent care all around. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I recommend this place for anyone! Took my 4yr old and he loved it. The other places didn't give him age appreciate vision test, this place did! We will bring my whole family!

I get my yearly exam here, glasses and contacts. I went in recently because I had a lot of pain in my eye. Dr. Payan made time to see me and was able to help me with the terrible pain. He is also really good at explaining what is going on and answers all questions. The staff is also really nice and helpful. I really recommend Cy-Fair EyeCare to anyone looking for a great eye doctor! :)

First time needing to get glasses, everything went smooth and the staff there are great.

Excellent eye doctors! Last year I saw Dr. Jose, this year Dr. Loraine. Both are very good and take the time to make sure you get exactly the right glasses and/or contacts. Highly recommended to anyone!

My appointment was phenomenal,from the moment I walked in ! Dr Loraine was seriously the best optometrist I ve ever had . I will most certainly be a returning customer!

I'm very pleased from today's visit in this office. Staff are very nice and helpful. I like this Dr Jose A Pajan O.D. He spend more time on my eye exam. Explain me all my questions. He is very good Dr. and I really can recommend him to my friends.

Wow... you call for an appoint and it goes to voice message, even during office hours; That tells me 1. I (clinic staff) am to important to answer the phone. 2. (Customer) you are not important. 3. we'll get back to you when we want, hence #2. I just took my business elsewhere. Basically, by doing that show poor customer care. Dr's might be awesome but are hinder by poor business decisions. hey business owners listen "first impressions are important to customer" ever hear of customer experience/satisfaction.

This place is amazing! Their office is clean and the staff is very kind and accommodating. Dr.Jose was thorough and efficient when preforming my vision exam. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a new eye doctor.

Would not honor warranty on a 6 year old's first pair of glasses.

Convenient location near Towne Lake/Lonestar College CyFair, easy appointment process, professional staff, up-to-date equipment, thorough examination. Lorraine Payan was friendly - no rushed exam like other places I've been. Actually might be a touch too easy going if you're just trying to get in and out, but I really appreciated the neighborly atmosphere. Dr. Jose Payan assisted with my glasses order and was also very friendly.

Beware .. bait and switch.. and very unprofessional staff. Told me it was $150 for an eye check up when I made the appointment. They call me on the day of the appointment and say now it s $235. When I ask them to honor their price they say ok, but when I go in for the appointment they say oh we will charge you an extra $25 to check what your current glass prescription is... I have had eye glasses for 30 years and have never had a doctor charge extra to see what the current eye glass prescription is. I refused to pay on principle and walked out. What a waste of time! I rarely, if ever, put reviews but this place has me all riled up...

I had a great experience today during my eye exam and picking out new frames at Cy-Fair EyeCare, Dr Lorraine was very professional and informative about the changes with my eyesight and recommendations moving forward. Allen, was excellent in explaining, measuring and assisting how to choose the appropriate frames that accommodate progressive lenses along with making sure the frames fit properly. In whole, the staff were very helpful and professional and I will be returning on my next exam.

In all my life and all the doctors I have ever encountered within any field of specialty, Dr. Jose and staff are among the best of the best With out question!!! Thank you all for the wonderful care you have provided!

Bailey the receptionist and assistant is very friendly. She got me in for an appointment right away. The doctor was thorough in his examination of my eye and did not over-prescribe medication which I always appreciate. Will be going here for all my eye exams from now on!

First time classes wearer. I went in and was taken care of. The ladies up front will mix it up with you. The testing was professional and the Dr. Was great. He took his time and I felt comfortable. He is also a veteran which is a plus for me as I also served and believe in supporting our veterans. I ended up getting progressive lenses. They take a while to get used to but I am pleased. The experience was a good one and I recommend this place. I felt as though I was taken care of.

Dr. Payan has been my eye doctor for the past several years but my recent experience caused me to respect him and his practice ever more. Yesterday my son was playing and somehow got something in his eye from a tree branch. It started bothering him greatly a few hours later and so I reached out to Dr Payan personally that night after his office had closed. He responded to me immediately and offered not only to go to the office but also called in a prescription for my son to the local 24 hour pharmacy. This morning he saw my wife and son right when the office opened and identified that a small foreign object was in fact in his eye under the eyelid. I'm so thankful that Dr Payan quickly responded to me even after hours and went above and beyond the call to help out. Thank you so much Dr Payan!

Honestly, BEST EYE DOCTOR EVER! I had been a patient previously at another optometrist on Hwy 6 and 290. The previous doctor had given me more than 1 full point more than what I needed for my contacts and eye glasses prescription. I noticed this as headaches were increasing and I decided to get a different eye doctor opinion. Dr. Payan took care and was very attentive to details. She made sure that my new prescription would not be more than what I needed. Now I see completely fine without getting headaches. THANK YOU !!!!!

Always a great experience. Dr. Loraine is detailed and thorough with my eye exams. I have always felt that she really cared about my experience and what is best for me. I have never felt like her approach was a once size fits all. She has always been willing to take my input and include me in the decision making of the contacts I wear. She is great and the establishment has been fantastic. Highly recommended.

The staff and the doctors(husband and wife) are awesome! They are very welcoming and even open on saturdays!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Jose Payan for years. Although I've lived in Spring, after starting my care with him, I certainly don't mind the drive. He is extremely thorough and has great bed side manners. He explains things well and is well knowledgeable of his field. He is never rushed and takes his time with each patient. I love the fact that he has the technology used by my Neuro-ophthalmologist and closely follows my pseudotumor cerebri. The staff is always professional, patient and kind. I've always felt like family and not just like a patient. Highly recommend Cy-Fair EyeCare, you will not be disappointed!

Dr. Lorraine was very good. She educated me on cataracts and and vision problems. My issues were mostly ergonomics of my computer monitors. The optometric techs were nice enough and not too salesy

I've been a patient for almost 10 years. The office staff is professional, courteous and easy on the eyes (pun) if you know what I mean fellas. I love this doctor he is knowledgeable patient and thorough. He takes time to talk on a personal level not related to vision or health, the experience is therapeutic almost two for one a eye doctor as well as therapist ... I unequivocally recommend Jose on every level...

I love this place. Not only was it convenient because of location but Dr. Loraine is very thorough. She was so helpful & down to earth. Both Dr.'s are very pleasant.
U of H grads. I will be going back & taking my whole family there form now on.

Dr.Jose Payan is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and shows that he cares and really wants to help his patients. He is never in a hurry and always listens to all my complaints and has help me with my eye problems.My family and I will continue to come here for all our eyecare needs. I would not consider anyone else for the care of my eyes. It is that simple. The staff is very, very good in all aspects: skills, assessments, care, and attentiveness when you have an urgent issue. I cannot imagine having anyone else ever care for my eyes or those of my family.

I wouldn't even give it a 1 but I have to!
I called to make an appointment. They answered the phone "hello". I said hello. She said "hello". I had to ask if I was calling the eye place. How unprofessional!!! Made an appointment against me better judgement. A couple days before the appointment, i decided that the call didnt settle with me so i called to cancel it. They answered and didn't say anything....i said "hello". The lady goes "how can I help you". Well I don't know??? Who am i calling!!!!!!!!! What professional office answers the phone like that????? If my dental office answered the phone like that, I would fire my front desk!
Don't know if the doctors are great but first impressions say it all!

Sorry the review was suppose to be for cypress family eyecare. My husband went there this morning and gave me the wrong name my apologizes.

Very friendly and very thorough. I felt like every concern I had was addressed and that Dr. Loraine Payan truly cared about each concern. I definitely recommend this place for adults and families!!

Dr. Jose is AMAZING ***** 5 stars for sure!!! His staff is the reason for the rating above. The phone is either answered with hello or nothing at all. The man who handles the lens told me they would be there in 2 weeks, I have contacted them after 1 month of waiting for my sons glasses during which I received not a single call, text ect to notify me of any delay with his glasses which he should already have. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and as helpful as she could be.

Update: A great doctor is not worth dealing with incompetent staff. I wanted to continue to use Dr Jose as my childrens doctor but not after today. I scheduled my children's appointments months ago and gave them all neccessary information as far as insurance plan and type. They call me at 4:45 the night before my kids appointment to say they need referrals before 9 am tomorrow...... really!!!!!

Love this office and Dr. Jose is great. They took my daughter in ASAP when she had an eye infection and got it taken care of. Same with a friend- she went in at 4:30 on a Friday with no apt and they saw her right away. My whole family now uses both doctors and would go anywhere else.

Been going here for years, they re so friendly and make the process so easy every time. The place always looks nice, and how can you go wrong with a UH alumni doctor! Go coogs!

The entire staff was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They don t try to talk you into anything that you don t need. I wish I would have found this place a long time ago.
