My book arrived today and I am THRILLED at the professional packaging and the superb condition as described. If there were 6 stars, I'd rate Curious Book Shop with another one.

This place is awesome. The prices are great and the atmosphere is amazing. I get lost looking at all the books for hours.

It's been months since I moved from East Lansing and I miss this place dearly. I could always find clean books for a good price here. And the smell of old books is awesome. Despite my new city, I'm still rocking my Curious Book Shop tee!

I would stop here from time to time when I lived in the area, looking for Beat and counterculture books. One day the clerk saw me eyeballing that section and offered me a signed copy of Allen Ginsberg's Cosmopolitan Greetings. It's a beautiful signature with a large sunflower illustration. Anyway, I was in my twenties and didn't know any better but it's a real signature and they gave it to me for a good price.

first time i ventured into curious. mind was quite blown. overwhelming. do they still have them old star wars trading cards on the second floor?

It's literally wall to wall, floor to ceiling full of books, a total paradise for book lovers. If you're willing to take the time you can find some VERY rare books here. I've picked up tons of first edition books here for competitive pricing. I always stop by when in town.

One of my favorite places in EL. I've been going here since my freshman year (2013). There are very many books so you definitely can't just go in 'to look around'. You should know what you're looking for before you go in so that you don't get overwhelmed. Newer and popular books are obviously going to be priced higher than the older books here (as they have a small collection of new books at the front of the store). The owner is great and has given me a lot of information on local book shops and symposiums. I've been looking for a particular children's book for years and he patiently listened to what I had to say even though he did not have it. Some of the other people who work there haven't been my favorite but the owner is very kind and dedicated to books and book worms alike.

PLEASE VISIT THIS BOOK SHOP. It's the perfect book shop for people who like books, because they have a TON OF BOOKS.

I go in every time I'm in the area, even when I wasn't intending to. It's very TARDIS-like (bigger on the inside).

I have purchased many a fantasy/sci-fi book from here - some I was looking for, and some I just picked up because they looked interesting and why not?

It has stacks of bookshelves with old books - also know as, the best smell in the world.

Do yourself a favor and just go in!
