It is a very good Engineering University, the best in Cuba. Free.

I met her a few years ago, I work today in this house of high studies and I consider it a very prestigious institution in Cuba and a benchmark for other universities in the world.

The curriculum is exceptionally good, however the dorms can use some improvement (which they are receiving).

I studied Mechanical Engineering there from 1984 to 1989. It is the best engineering university in Cuba.
I will forever be grateful to Cuba and its people; especially their great leader, El Commandante Fidel Castro Ruz.
