This establishment is absolutely top class among some of the best book stores I have ever been to in my entire life. Absolutely incredible just all around amazing bookstore and the wait times were adequate.made me feel like I was at home sitting in front of the fire reading a good novel.although they didn't have my favorite chicken nuggets they did have a bell which could be wrong and the sound of it made my ears tingle. The velvet dividing rope that kept us in line was absolutely of the highest quality.
Beautiful campus with plenty of areas to relax and study. There's walking paths benches and tables for lunches and class breaks. Also lots of grass and even a garden. Beautiful landscape for a city college
Lap swimming in the morning... they have the proper procedure down for social distancing and mask. I feel perfectly safe swimming there.
Clean, spaced, temperature checked and hand sanitized on entry to class, fresh air coming in. Shortened art lab time, splitting the group into 3 different labs, for appropriate spacing. My pandemic cautious (paranoid ready to bolt) kid was okay with it and said it was better than getting her identification at the DMV (gotta have it by age 18). Most of my kid's courses are 100% online, but this is something that some of the students (probably not mine) will need some hands on demo time to be successful at. My 17 year old (yes started kindergarten early, now college too) has been selling art online for years. Wants to ramp it up to make a living level instead of buy a video game now and then. So far the art program gets 5 stars. Rocky broadcasts on Twitch as sockrocketart. I'm sure some Art assignments will be done on air and if you have any questions about the campus experience so far, current answers can be obtained!
