I've been to Cubana in Midrand and they would not allow you to get in if it's full. I think this Cubana should adopt this. It gets crazy full in there it is just disturbing

They really let the place go and it's no longer as wonderful as it used to be but the vibe is still good.

If visiting from out of town maybe, definitely maybe, pass this spot by. Day has long since gone when this was worth a visit. Unwelcoming and unfriendly.

Service was poor. Our waiter hardly checked on us. Beer is very expensive but served without an ice bucket. It was just dumped on our table. Food took way too long. I had to ask for glass and waited 15min plus for it. Music was good though, just about the only good thing.

It laid back during the day but gets annoyingly full in the evenings.

Just an overall good vibe to go and have fun with your friends. With great music, food, cocktail and cigar smoking

Enjoyed it. Prefer the Claremont branch though. Vibe is better.

This wasn't the best place for me. My friend and myself stood for a good 3 hours simply because people made reservations but some of them never even pitched. Please work on making sure that all your customers are fine and also the hostesses should work on their attitude towards customers.

No space to breath, staff and patrons were rude. If you don't have a reservation don't bother.

Place can get a bit full at night. Many pre-book. Quiet during the day to grab some good food and an early drink. Staff is friendly.

Vibe. Eclectic. Waitron Carol was friendly. Food good portions, the baskets, delicious. It should be noted that the decor specifically the chairs should be updated - holes in the chairs. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable experience and environment. Do not visit if your nose does not like the smell of the cigars.

Great venue in the heart of Cape Town. The cocktails and coffee are great and the breakfast we ordered was well priced but could have been better prepared. Servers weren't as attentive and keen to help as they could have been.

very arrogant Bouncers. there is an overall sense of arrogance among all members of staff, they make you really feel that they dont care whether you come to their Cubana or not

The bar manager named Zola has got to be the rudest self absorb human being I've ever met in my life.
No management skills whatsoever.
Rude to the people he suppose to lead.
Arrogant to customers.
No I question how Cubana green point hires it's managers.

I stopped going a long time ago and it clearly is stil the same. Their staff is always rude, especially the bouncers, theyl first look u up and down before deciding to let u in. If they do, ul never be offered a table. Tables are forever reserved for people they know.. Worst Cubana ever, rather try Claremont or Blouberg.

Considering they are located in the heart of the city - the service is to terrible I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. The welcoming party treats you like an inconvenience they have to deal with - like you just dying to be part of their 'Cuban' experience! Take your money at set it on fire before considering this joint.

Had the worst experience. You are given 2hours to sit and then get told to move to the bar because you didn't buy an expensive bottle of whisky. I won't set my foot there again

Too crowded . You can't move your hair without hitting three other people in the face.
But if you like breathing in the sweats, it's the place to be
