The higher you go, the quieter it gets. Excellent place to just study for a long time.

Great place to learn parkour lol and a great library

I wish the library would open at least till 3am, not only on final weeks. Also, open on weekends at least till 12 am too :( bc I am a night person who likes to study in the libraries at night.

The creative media library employees, including their red haired supervisor yells a lot and are very loud. If you tell the employees to speak in a lower tone they do not care and go back talking loudly.I love the iMacs on this floor for media production which is why I give it one star. Today was my first day trying out this place but the rudeness and the loudness of the employees killed my good study time.

It's definitely a great place to study. The library is spacious, fewer students congregate the higher you go. I recommend either bringing a laptop or using one of the computers not on the bottom floor as it can be hard to come by during the day.
I'd give this place five stars if only it had longer weekend hours. Most public libraries have short hours during the weekend making it hard for students like me who would like to study during that time in a more conductive environment.

Great place to study and work. Love how they give away pillows during finals.

Good library for quiet studying, but Needs to be open on weekends, not only during finals week. Even during summer, there are students who attend summer school yet the library is closed.

The only bad thing is how they don't open it longer during the weekends. They should really reconsider changing that.

Great libary! I come here after school sometimes. (I go to the middle school near by) but there's this one lady who enforces the rules a little to strictly.

TV series, 1995-2001. Oviatt Library is features as part of the Mari homeworld in the episode "Random Thoughts" (1997)

Love it. It's a great place to do homework and study (4th floor = no noise). They should extend the hours during midterms and finals.

Great library and it's improving, but i wish they had more group study rooms, tables with connections, connections near every couch, and a temporary locker, so you can relieve yourself from books we carry everyday. But aside from that I like the improvements.

Excellent library, it's most important for the CSUN students, and also there are so comfortable environment.

Great place to research and study. The higher you go in the building the quieter it gets. The staff is also really helpful.

Ugh. CSUN has no budget for a decent collection of resources. It s difficult to do research in here. Plus, the library s always crowded with loud kids.

Great library - conducive to learning, studying, and focusing on whatever you need to get done. I love how certain floors are designated as "Quiet", and others are "Talk OK". Such an awesome resource when utilized correctly. Also kudos to the University for extending their hours to 3am during the weeks leading up to Finals.

The library needs to have longer hours on the weekends for students that work during the day and study at night. Mostly all students would benefit with longer weekend hours!
