If you want a Bio or Wildlife degree, this is the school for you. All I have to say is that I never thought I would be attending CSU-Pueblo because it s not as talked up in high school as other institutions but I can confidently say I am so proud to have graduated a Thunderwolf and I would never trade my years and experience with my peers and instructors for anything else.

Coming from Los Angeles I found this school to be a great change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city. Most classes are relatively small which is great to truly get on a personal level with your professors.
The Outdoor Leadership faculty are the best of the best in the recreation world many of them being professionals themselves.
Because the university is relatively small you have the opportunity to make the changes you want to see
The school's cafeteria operations are contracted to a third party company to run the facilities that produce the food the students eat. There is such favoritism and discrimination within the ranks of the staff that the quality of the food produced is severely neglected. Teamwork is always preached but the only thing that matters is the personal egos of the people with seniority. If they hear that students like the food somebody else made and not them then they retaliate with lies and deceit. But what does that matter if the food is good, its not. Not only is most of the food under temperature and prepared incorrectly, but the student has to pay roughly the same price as an adult buffet at a chain restaurant for each meal. This is not only a complete ripoff, but also an insult to the students who invest their lives in the facilities of the campus and aren't provided for. Students who live on campus are required to have a meal plan at least the first 2 years of their schooling. There are multiple facilities around the campus that serve food and can take the meal plan credits which provides some decent alternatives. The main cafeteria is absolutely terrible.
