Overall the hotel was fine. My room had a couple issues but nothing too terrible. It was a double queen room. The blinds did not close all the way so when you're laying in the bed closest to the window the sun will come shining in, and then the lights in both the bathroom and by the front entry door did not work. Other than that, stay was good!

The best Hotel I've ever visited. Sam was at the front desk, we came in on my birthday, he gave the best customer service EVER. It wasn't too much, or too little. Very professional, compassionate and sharp. He found out it was my birthday, and he went all out to make sure no other hotel would be on my mind for my next stay. Alba the very nice young lady at the bar was the same, very courteous and polite. The best ever!!!! My stay was on June 11, 2016.
I would come back again and would have given 4 stars, but it was under renovation when I visited. There was only one set of elevators at one end of the building and they were very slow. I liked that the staff was friendly and seemed to make an extra effort. The breakfast buffet was better than most. There is also an Irish pub. The room was clean and comfortable and in good condition. The shuttle was available whenever I needed it and would take me anywhere within a mile of the hotel. There is a large indoor pool and a large outdoor space with patios.
We used the Crowne Plaza at Tysons Corner as the hotel for our wedding guests on November 23. My new husband and I also stayed at the Crowne Plaza that night of our wedding. We loved the Crowne Plaza and their staff (especially Mary Farrell!!!) The hotel is beautiful, clean, conveniently located and did I mention beautiful? Mary helped us coordinate the stay for our guests and a shuttle, which we used to bring guests to and from our wedding venue. The hotel was a great value for a very high quality experience.
I attended an event at the hotel so I cannot comment on the rooms. The hotel is located near Tyson Mall and the silver metro station so it's convenient getting around. The lobby was updated recently but the hallways and restaurants in the hotel are still dated. It's a quiet place. It's close to Dulles airport and you will see flight attendants there who have stayed the night. There is plenty of parking.
One of the worst hotels I have been at. The room was dirty, the bathroom vanity had makeup all over it, the shower was cracked, the shower faucet would not turn all the way off, The air conditioning would not regulate it was either full on or you had to manually turn it off. The in room fridge was dirty and had hundreds of dents on it. As far as housekeeping probably the worst, they came in and only made the bed, never picked up towels or gave new ones. After 4 calls to housekeeping and front desk over a 4 hour window had to go down and get towels myself. Hotel is under remodel and construction workers start at 7 am on the floor above with hammers, drills and scrapers wakening us up. Workers set off smoke alarms and had to get out of building. Nothing is complimentary in lobby like coffee. Only was given enough coffee in room for one cup. My standards are much higher then what they offer, I thought a 4+ star hotel and a Premier King Room at $270/night plus $7/night parking would be a lot better then what they are. Very upset with my stay and I would never stay at this hotel again.
I was stranded in DC with 600 youth from Wichita KS during the blizzard of 2016. The staff here was so professional and patient with our group. They provided catering for all of us for 7 meals. They worked so hard to make us comfortable! I cannot possibly say enough about the customer service and the Manager (Trish) was truly a blessing! They even hosted a snow sculpture contest for the youth and the other patrons of the hotel came to judge. I met some great people from London who tried to sled in the parking lot!! (apparently they have never seen that much snow) what an amazing hotel and staff!!!!!! Thank you so much!
This hotel is proximal to my office and thus convenient. Everything about this is perfectly adequate; staff is nice and attentive, facility is clean. Food options in the immediate area are lacking. Otherwise, no complaints.
The hotel wasn't bad, but not the best. Rooms were a 3/5 for being somewhat outdated, in slight disrepair, and in need of a little organization. No cleaning problems were visible in the rooms. Staff were also 3/5 as it was luck of the draw getting someone friendly and knowledgeable to work with. Restaurant and gym on site was convenient. The Hotel itself was difficult to locate being sandwiched between other buildings with hard-to-find labeling. Shuttle service to the metro was nice.
Was there for my spouse's work event. We had appetizers in the hotel lobby, and dinner in a ballroom, with a DJ and dance floor. The food was solid, and the staff friendly and approachable. I changed into formal attire in the bathroom, which was clean and well maintained. Overall good experience and a solid venue for these kinds of events.
