Crowne Plaza Shanghai Noah Square Review

Very convenient location, Starbucks just next door and walking distance to Subway station (Line 13) within 3minutes. But still took me 2 hours to take the subway from Pudong airport to the hotel due to some transfers from line 2 to line 13. If you are not in a hurry and enjoy to experience some local commute, the cost-performance of hotel is very high. The closest international airport is HongQiao, which is much more closer but not much flight options for international airliners.

The gym is well equipped, but the heaviest dump bell is only up to 50LBS, however if you need more weight there are several other cable machines. There are tons of restaurants and at least 3 big shopping mall nearby.

The room is clean and comfortable, lighting is cozy yet sufficient, but the receptions of TV were poor for some foreign channels.

If you need to book a taxi at the concierge, make sure you double confirm the night before, because I was surprised that they seemed to forget about my taxi booking request. Glad I did double check since I had an early flight the next day, no room for mistakes.

Overall I still give it a five star because I was upgraded to the executive floor.

The location is great, but the rooms are not so great

Stayed here for a week. Had a great time. Most of the staff are english speaking and very kind too. Rooms are comfortable with all modern amenities. Located close to shopping malls and couple 24/7 super market. If you would like to explore through metro, it is also very close. Loved the location. Food was great. Nothing negative to write

Great hotel for our 2 week stay. A bit too warm for us, as they switched to heat only. We were in 3 different rooms during our stay, some rooms were in better shape then others.

Good, clean hotel with great amenities. The gym is well laid out, well equipped with good machine and free weights. The buffet restaurant did a great job with both breakfast and dinner. The room was quite spacious with good lighting, power outlets and a good desk layout.

Summer is still a duvet... air conditioning is not the same as opening

It's located in Noah square which is kind of city center and well connected to other parts of city. Rooms are well maintained and regularly cleaned. Breakfast buffet was really good. Each room has router for WiFi and wired internet access. Overall it's a very pleasant stay and I will strongly recommend it to any Traveller.

A little distance from the city center, but a good five-star hotel, there are many shopping centers next to the subway station.

Service is OK, swimming and children's games are available! However, the room rate is different from the actual official website price. The price of the official website is not including tax and breakfast. It is also a half price for a child of 80 cm here, and 120 cents is the full price. Breakfast is a lot of things but it doesn't feel exquisite, there is no value of RMB 120. It's better to eat Starbucks next door for breakfast! And the hotel's network can't even connect, the service staff will be even!

Very good hotel option for this area. Friendly helpful staff. Good elite benefits, lounge access for Spire. Large shopping centre located here. Not too far from HQ airport. Service from staff very good.

Nice clean hotel with everything a stay needs. Gym, spa, lounge and restaurants. Possibilities for shopping are close by.

Disadvantage: poor sound proofing. Could hear people talking and cars passing by on the street from the room.
