Great location for the price. Clean and modern. House keeping was ridiculously nice and thoughtful

Went to a fundraiser there for the Charles Foundation. The room was set up nice. The wait staff was excellent. The food was ok. The program got started late so the food was sitting. The salmon was seasoned well. The chicken breast was dry dry dry. The desert was ok. Chocolate mousse cake. The mousse was excellent ale was dry.

I would give this location a 0 if I could. Normally I have had a positive experience with Courtyard Marriott. However, this time around I ran into an issue making a reservation where I requested they honor a rate that was offered to our soccer team. While I understand I missed the timeline for the group rate and my request for an exception was being denied, the salesperson Stephanie Corro was EXTREMELY rude and raised her voice at me! Not the right way to treat a customer. I always say it s not what you say, it s HOW you say it. She was rude. I reached out to management regarding the situation. The General Manager has not returned my call. I followed up with an email and there has been no apology for my negative experience. Very unfortunate.

I booked a room for 6 days due to back surgery. The laser spine Institute wanted me to stay at 1 of their hotels that they were in partnership with. But I ended up staying at the Marriott instead. I have to say I am glad I did. The staff were so friendly, kind, and helpful. The day I left the hospital I could barely walk or breathe from the pain. I recall hearing all of these voices asking my husband if he needed help or if they could get me a wheelchair? He kindly said no the doctors wanted me to walk. So than they asked him if they could help him get me to my room? He said no thank you. I could not walk as the day went on so I called the front desk and asked for that wheelchair. They were so fast to respond. On day 2 I was able to give them the wheelchair back. They were so happy to see me walking, they congratulated me and were genuinely happy to see me walking on my own. They encourage me that I could do it and I must say that their good vibes helped me get on my feet to recovery. I want to give a special thank you to all of the staff at the Marriott. May God be with all of you!!

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff also very friendly. Location close to restaurants and shopping.

The Courtyard Marriott has a lot to offer. They're located off of City Avenue in West Philly. They have a restaurant and bar and offer daily happy hour specials. There's also restaurants nearby Longhorn Steakhouse, Chipotle, Naf Naf Grill, B52, California Pizza Kitchen, and Panera Bread. Target and The Fresh Grocer are nearby. The rooms are beautiful and have been updated. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy on and off of I-76. Very close to Manyunk and easy access to Center City and all that it offers. If you're a Saint Joe's parent, they do offer a special rate for Saint Joe's.

Rooms are nice, clean and modern. The area is not so great. Many of the area restaurants have horrible service.

Nice hotel. Clean. Easy to get to and near a few restaurants and a Target. Bed was comfortable and room was a nice size with great amenities. Only thing that limited to 4 stars was the staff at the bar area. Everything seemed to take forever - waiting for someone to be there, had to find what I was asking for, getting the bill, paying - got a little frustrating. Otherwise, the staff was plentiful and always greeting us when we walked by. I would stay again.

The room was nice, the pool was super warm like bath water but no hot tub. The continental breakfast cost $16 plus tax and it wasn't anything special, no waffles or anything.

8/31/2019 -- I went there to get a price on a room for some relatives who want to visit. The price I was given was around $192 plus tax.

Went for the fur event. Always has something going on there.

Clean, pleasant hotel in a prime location within waking distance of plenty of restaurants and a Target.

Expensive but great for businesses. Elevator usage requires an orientation. Haha. Very hard to figure out.

Amazing staff - beautiful rooms - great location! This was my second time staying here, the first time being before they renovated the hotel. What a beautiful job they did! The rooms are a nice size, beds amazingly comfortable, bathroom only has shower but a great one! and the staff is very friendly, and eager to help with any of your needs. It s also in a great location by freeways but is a quiet place to stay! I highly recommend.

I picked this hotel as I found on the map to be conveniently located next to a Target. Its located North West of the Tourist attractions, which I find to be more quiet for a decent nights sleep. They also provide great amenities such as a pool and shuttle services, which I did not utlize, but found great to be made available. The staff were all were kind and friendly as well. I'll definitely stay here again whenever I visit the area again!

I stayed from 6/1 - 6/2 in room 627. I m a medical marijuana user who suffers from Tourette s Syndrome and lives in Florida. I left my meds (cannabis) in the room, called to tell them I left it and they immediately stripped the room and stole it! I have Tourette s syndrome for crying out loud! Don t you think I need my meds?! I showed them my medical marijuana card thinking someone would just give it up because I clearly have a health condition but nothing. They continued to lie right in my face! So disgusted with this hotel and would never ever stay again. Beware!

I'm currently staying in this hotel and I had no towels,wash clothes when I returned from my outing at 9pm.Plus the large trash bag that I left at the front of the room was still in the same spot where I left it before I left for the day.The bathtub got stopped up yesterday and the water was draining slowly.Maintenance finally came to the room after being called twice,with a toilet stool plunger.I had the same problem with the water in tub draining slow tonight.I had to clean the entire shower today because it was very dirty.I researched a motel for three weeks before visiting Philadelphia from Va Beach Va and I never thought that I would encounter these issues at this hotel.I am disappointed and would never recommend this particular hotel to anyone.I hope the manager compensate me accordingly.

Very nice place would stay again. The shower is very nice could have some more towels in the bathroom but the bathroom was very nice and big. The room is very nice its large and can fit four people very nicely. Beds are amazing the chairs are very comfy and plenty of room an a desk and the coffee pot works amazingly also the fridge is bigger than most which I like. The tv could have a better connection to the internet I could not watch Netflix or youtube which makes me a little mad but everyone was on the internet so ya there's your review.

Room was way smaller than anticipated. They didn't offer complimentary water in the room. They only had decaf coffee in the room. The breakfast is $16 per person for a little better than general continental. Only here for the weekend but I regret not getting an air bnb this place blows.

Firstly, we paid for a king room and ended up with 2 queens. The lobby was clean and beautiful but 6th floor was not so much. Upon entering our room I noticed the bathtub was dirty, there was hair on the toilet seat and, grossest of all, a huge wad of black hair was balled up on the floor near the desk. No clue how cleaning staff missed it, it was repulsive. This prompted a check for bed bugs, which fortunately none were found.
Extremely loud at night, bed uncomfortable, could not sleep, and was awoken early when others on our floor were up and screaming in the halls at 6am.
Must pay extra for breakfast and even though we did because of the king bed incident, we weren't offered this or anything to make up for the overcharge.
This was not an enjoyable stay, and was extremely disappointing for a Marriott.
I do not recommend.

Nice, clean. But there is always a long line just to check in with only one or two working the counters. It seemed to be a sold out week when I went, but more should be attending if so. I just wanted some advil and you have to wait in the check-in line just to purchase from the small market area they have.

While the service here was great and fast. When we requested a new microwave and remote, they had it to our room within 10 minutes. the room was fairly clean. I did notice some trash tucked away that must have been overlooked. I found the room very tight and small for our family size.The water pressure was great and it remain hot. There is no breakfast. The prices are higher in the spring. No. I wouldn't come back personally

Well appointed, modern accommodations with an excellent pool. Trade off is the location which is a bit removed from center city. If you are driving in from points nearby this is a reasonable option. Free parking though it is heavily used and thus not guaranteed. No free breakfast like more budget hotels which may be a dealbreaker for parents with little kids, though there is a bistro restaurant.

It was a great experience the front desk was alsome the house keepers was great especially ebony sabree she was very polite and out spoken manger kajsan was very polite and incredibly nice

It's just your usual Marriott hotel. The room was nice and clean. Staff very friendly and courteous. The only problem is with parking. There is a TGI Fridays restaurant near by and I assume that a lot of parking spaces are taken by it's patrons.

Very clean and guys working morning in Bistro were great but really HATE when the housekeeping bangs on all the doors in the hall at 9 am to see where they can clean. Woke me up and numerous others. They should be able to figure out which rooms are empty without waking the guests,

The hotel it self was good and the front desk staffs were friendly and courteous but when it came to the house keeping staff, I would have to say that the experience with them is poor as there would be moments where a whole day would pass and there wouldn't be any towels and this is after I was told that when they are dry that they would send it up. Sometimes I would even have to call front desk and ask for them to send them up. I had a good time at the hotel I just wish the service there was better.

I had a Back To School Hotel Party for 11 girls. We had two adjoining END rooms, and it was Awesome. The girls were able to dance and make as much noise as they wanted too.
The rooms were very clean and spacious! The beds were very comfortable! We had queen beds and for some odd reason 4 average size girls slept in one bed ! Perfect sunrise and sunset view from our 7th floor room.
Marie and Marquita, Desk Clerks, were very professional and attentive to our needs! A very enjoyable and memorable experience!

This is a review of the Bistro only.
Very disappointed in the service of the restaurant downstairs. Trisha showed us her attitude from the minute we started ordering our food. Then we waited one hour for the food to be ready. People who came after us got their food before us! I told her I m disappointed and I wish I knew upfront how long it will take for the food to be ready, her response was she doesn t know how the orders are taken/ processed in the kitchen. My advice- ask upfront how long it will take for the food to be ready.

Hotel seems new, room was nice and service was adequate. Initially thought location was ok but after checking out, noticed that our vehicle, which had been parked overnight, was scratched up and appeared as though someone had tried opening it. Fortunately glass wasn't broken but we will not be returning to this location due to this experience.

I recently had an interview that the courtyard was hosting. The staff were very friendly.

Kind of expensive. No glasses in bathroom, no ice bucket, no coffee maker or even coffee in the lobby. Fridge was so small our waterbottles couldn't fit. Pool was closed for maintenance until minutes before checkout. Beds we're good, good shower, good temperature control, but pretty much a bummer.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, overall great experience. We walked across the parking lot for a Panera Bread breakfast, and around the corner to Target (next door over) for an 8am bathing suit.

I was here for an event last week. The front desk, concierge service, and waitstaff were great. The breakfast that was served, buffet style, was hot and tasty.
The women's restroom was clean and in order.

Room wasn't cleaned properly , and host weren't friendly some of them.

Room was fine. Room service screwed our order up multiple times. Reservation got screwed up multiple times. Some of the staff was friendly but a few just didn't seem to care.

Such a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was super clean the beds were comfy. Bathroom was a nice size and kept clean. They have a bar and a Starbucks in the lounge. I spoke to the cleaning staff that cleaned my room..... they were super nice and welcomed me on my stay and told me if I needed anything to just ask.
