Really nice place. Pool quiet and clean. Great view on the river and very close to all restaurants

It would be helpful if there was a member of staff keeping an eye on outdoor seating area when people sit down and want a drink. I had to go looking for someone inside the hotel.

Quality hotel, good rooms and friendly staff. Nice view of Thames from my room.

Came for a few pints to sit outside near the river. Was good service. The lady who was working at the bar was very pleasant.

Stayed here for the weekend as we have to take care of an older relative. The service here is top notch. We had breakfast and dinner here on both nights. The outdoor dining area faces River Thames. The view was wonderful and calming, exactly what we needed.

We were served by Raja on both nights. He is attentive, friendly, no request is too troublesome for him. We are so grateful for his hospitality.

The room was pretty good too. Clean, modern decor, pretty good size with a large king size bed.

We would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Reading.

Had a meeting here, conference room was good size and chairs were actually comfortable. Lunch was surprisingly good. Help yourself but all very fresh and tasty. Lots of options aswell which was good. Only thing was the coffee machine wasn't working which was the only disappointment. Parking was free and a decent sized car park very close by.

The staff were good when you could find them. They have implemented a room service breakfast ordering system during covid, but no one answers the phone so you end up going downstairs anyway.
The breakfast itself is very odd. A half English breakfast with no beans, toast and a pot of tea with no milk or sugar.
The rooms are large and clean, but my room had a shower that leaked over the floor and a toilet that did not flush, which was reported to reception.
Overall an odd experience but the staff were very helpful and the main positive of the stay.

1. The car park and the way from it to the reception laks of proper lightning.
2. One of the large towels in the bathroom has a big yellow-ish stain, disgusting.
3. Dust.
4. There are spider cobs hanging off the ceiling.
5. The wallpaper is damaged in several places.
6. Big lamp s bulb is buzzing

Wow!! 108 pounds for Friday night and then I was asked to pay 164 pounds for second night same room. Madness!! 18 pounds breakfast with smallest choice. Kind of minimal wimpy breakfast. Don t waste your money, opposite hotel is a cafe called George. The best!!! and much cheaper. Room ment to be very clean. Hahaha!!! Please see pictures, big flues on windowsill. Around hotel grounds is like squatting place. Debris, rubbish etc.
Totally overrated and definitely overpriced.
