My wife and I booked two nights in this hotel, 5 days before Christmas.
The reception speaks English, French and Spanish. So no German. But what we don't perceive as negative. The lobby is beautiful. Elevators are very old, but they look good. The rooms are clean, spacious, the bed is comfortable and there is nothing to complain about. Breakfast is plentiful and tastes good. The view from the window was also an eye catcher. The underground car park is huge, you should only drive carefully with a larger vehicle. The entrance is very narrow.
Normally the hotel would have deserved 5 stars, only at night it is very loud, police, ambulance etc. drive day and night. The windows do not have good sound insulation. Anyone who lives in a big city knows that.
The perfect hotel if you want to explore Brussels for a few days.

Excellent service. The personnel is outstanding by being very neat helpful carying and professional. The minus point perhaps would be the aging of the location which deserves a serious uplifting.

Pay no attention to any other review. This is all you need to know, best hotel in Brussels. The staff was amazing, my room was massive and I was treated like a king from the moment I walked in the from spinning door. I will be back to Brussels and when I come back this is where I will stay. It truly is Le Palace!!!! I love the bar in front lots of good people and conversation. Keep in mind that this is an event style hotel and they host a ton of meeting room events.there is a park across the street and beautiful fitness room. Great bathroom and amenities. It's a 5 star hotel. I would like a bigger full body mirror in the room I stayed in. Cheers!

Very stylish hotel with historic interior architecture. Particularly well-kept meeting rooms. This hotel also scores high on a culinary level. The rooms were also renewed, but are quite noisy. The night I slept there several times ambulances and police cars with siren drove past which was not really sleep-promoting ...

Great location (10 min walk to Grand Place), parking garage next door (you get a discount at reception at check-out), nice rooms, quiet, tea and water in room, big bathroom, great breakfast (fresh fruit salad, lovely bread)

Really good location, right next to a metro station. 5 minute walk from train station nord.
Breakfast - lots of choice, hot and cold nice food however kind of pricey. Plenty of seating, staff very friendly, helpful and staff do speak English.

>The hotel we feel is more geared towards businesses lots of conferences on, in the week.
- Room - we were on the reward floor level 7. Room very spacious, very nice well stocked facilities - had shower gel shampoo etc as well as free minibar due to being a rewards customer and coffee machine. However the room was very noisy with outside traffic and sirens and ambulances going off all evening. Room also very hot, no air-con available and if you open the window you can't sleep due to the noise outside. Decent size queen bed, pillows abit hit and miss. Mattress topper on the bed as well as mattress. Lots of TV channels available in English and other languages. Lots of storage available in the room to put your clothes etc in. Maintenance staff came very quickly to fix our problems that we had with the safe.
There is a lovely bar in the hotel, no apple juice served tho.
The hotel ask customers if they would like to go green and not have your room tidied and serviced, as a reward customers will get 500 points on their IHG card or a 5 voucher to spend in the restaurant.
Bathroom- lovely size bath, water pressure is lovely and hot.

Overall a really good stay at this hotel next time we are in Brussels we will be back. Thank you x

Somewhat older 4 star hotel. Spacious rooms with old-fashioned but well-kept facilities. Very comfortable beds! 2 times water per day in the room, spacious bathrooms. Friendly staff at the reception, good location. The windows have no noise insulation and are quite ailing, the room towards the street so loud. The breakfast is good. The bar is good for nothing (bad staff) But overall a very good house.

I had stayed at the hotel beside the CP in Brussels, and had always been satisfied. I decided to try the CP Palace. Historical building with art-deco style decor.

There are 2 entrances. Be aware the Place Rogier entrance entails 2 sets of stairs. There are make-shift ramps, but they are best avoided. My advice is to use the rue Ginestra door.
Check-in was efficient and pleasant. I was told I had an upgraded room due to IHG elite status. I was told I had the privilege to "raid the mini-bar" at no charge. You will notice the : 4 beverages from which to choose. Not much to "raid".

Elevators are fast but very poorly decorated. Corridors are wide with rather incongruous carpeting. My room was large. Bare wood flooring. Large bath with a shower/tub combination. The shower head had a leak which sprayed wildly. Water pressure is excellent, which led to more mess from the leak!

The sink faucets are round balls (see photo) and very hard to turn on/off particularly with wet hands The lighting in the bathroom was not sufficient to properly shave.
My room had a king bed with excellent sheets and pillows ( note: the pillows are square, not rectangular, which takes some getting used to. By night 2 I was content.) There was a desk/chair with only one convenient electric outlet. It had two chairs and a small table between.

The bed had switches to control every light in the room. It was very well thought out for guest use. Sorry to say that was the most impressive aspect of my stay.

My room overlooked the botanical garden park across the street and the room was quiet at night.

Overall, I was disappointed and think this property ranks near the bottom of Crowne Plaza hotels. Mediocre 1980s redo misses the mark, and it is unfortunate the decorators did not carry through the lovely art deco motif of the lobby throughout the rest of the hotel.

Very nice sauna. The water is very soft and you can feel it strongly.
The breakfast is plentiful and very varied. A perfect weekend!

A nice and quiet hotel located in the north of Brussels. The hotel is well connected especially with the airport, which is reachable through the train station that is at 10 minutes walking. The service was good and during the breakfast is offered several options.

- Breakfast buffet a pure disappointment:

We had a meeting organized by European agency. Food and facilities are nice. Location is great.
Computer was failing to support presentations quite often. We were over 300 people which was not comfortable for the space we had, although this part is on the organizers.

I do not see the scenery, but the rooms in the area of the Quiet zone are especially quiet and relaxing and I recommend it! Some staff are studying Japanese. About 5 minutes on foot from Brussel noord st., There is also Starbucks in front of the hotel. I will walk a little from Grand plus. Is it about 15 to 20 minutes ... It is good for a walk

Nice place for events with great facilities and service.

Didn't use the Hotel service but attended the US Marines Corps Anniversary celebration and several other events.

In my opinion a great match for any event planner.

We stayed here for on evening and checked out today. Overall, we are not happy with this hotel ranging from service to the building itself.

The location was great, but the hotel was very old including the rooms. Could not sleep well as you could hear all the noises from other rooms and from the hall way. To give an example, my colleague s room was four rooms away and I could hear her laughing.

Furthermore, there was lots of dusty carpet and the breakfast was not worth the 27. Limited options and no high standards - the tables in the restaurant were not clean, cutlery was found in a bucket on each individual table which is unsanitary and there were many stains in the restaurant s carpet.

In conclusion, not recommended to stay here.

Hotel very central, in 10 minutes walk you are in the center of Brussels. There is also a metro and tram stop right at the door to get around the city. The rooms are comfortable and a good size. Almost every day they left us a chocolate bar on the table (although we were two people ...). The breakfast is average, but it's good. The staff very friendly. We had a problem with the safe and they came up right away to fix it. If I had to go back, I would repeat without hesitation. I recommend it.

Our stay in Crown plaza Brussels was absolutely amazing experience. The hotel located in very centre and has access to metro, bus route as well as to main shopping street. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, room and the common area were clean and tidy. The breakfast provided variety of choice, was tasty and pleasant atmosphere.

I stayed here for 2 weeks, i have had a very nice stay where everything was just perfect for me as a guest starting from room upgrade and treatment in every way.
Many thanks to the hotel team.

Great room and excellent staff. Only disappointment would be the internet wifi connection and the reason why I choose next door Hilton nowadays. While staff say that they have fixed their wifi problems recently (June 2018), it still seems to be very laggy and drops of the connections every so often.

imperfect. The air-conditioning system needs to be improved, the room has to add a fan, the other room is badly air-conditioned, and the engineer does not follow up on time; the house is dilapidated, the toilet door is not closed; the wrong number is chased! The key card is often broken and fails to open the door.
But the waiter has a few gifts.

Located to the north of the city, the hotel is clean and elegant, friendly and helpful staff.
They made me without asking for an upgrade in a spectacular room.
No restrictions regarding the time of check in and check out.
All perfect.
Absolutely recommended

Great experience! I highly recommend !

Great experience! I highly recommend !

We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival.
Competent staff, smiling, available and attentive.
The room was well placed overlooking the square very well soundproofed.
No noise coming from the hallway.

On the ground floor a relax room and games room (table tennis billiards table football). A cyber room also.

The 5/5 household at the top nothing to say at each visit.

The breakfast is complete and correct the staff are available and discreet, no noise when they clear.
Hand-pressed fruit juice, fresh fruit in self-service.

The hotel is very well placed at the foot of the pedestrian street with lots of shops.
Transport just below the hotel and large quiet square.

I was definitely going back !!!
Thanks again.
