Every time I come here it never fails I m waiting ...

Every time I come here it never fails I m waiting forever I can be the first one to sign in and it s 4 people after me and they get called first. They always say it s insurance or something if it s not one thing its another I can t wait for this to be over with. My doctor is amazing but the wait is ridiculous it literally makes me wanna walk out of my own appointment !!!!!! Once I waited 2 1/2 hours this time it s an hour I switched my appointment time it s horrible

They ALWAYS keep me waiting. I kept believing that...

They ALWAYS keep me waiting. I kept believing that I was just coming at busy times but that just isn't true. This last time I waited in the waiting room for an hour and over 30 minutes past my appointment time. That's incredibly rude. I will not be going back.

I have waited a while to sit and write this review...

I have waited a while to sit and write this review. I was inspired by a WDSU story on women of color having more more fatal GYN incidences and fatality experiences then any other ethnicity. Even if you have education and a medical occupation, you fall into this category. As an ICU Nurse I found myself in a berating and belittling experience with a physician here at the clinic. I never have claimed to know everything, which is why I was concerned about my health after a world wind of things that had happened in span of 6 months. My GYN doctor retired, therefore when I found out my husband of 7 years and I was pregnant with our first baby, I excited to be kindly accepted by Dr. Perret 3 months in. Experience was great throughout my pregnancy. Had an unexpected c-section that was performed by Dr. Laguaite, who was great during delivery (after finding out I was an ICU RN). 6 week follow up was great, annual appointment was for 6 months after. During this course I unexpectedly experienced a miscarriage 5 1/2 months after. Called, Dr. Perret called back explained everything had passed and my annual was due within 2 weeks and will see me then okay. After csection, I had a regular monthly cycle while in low dose birth control, well after miscarriage no cycle came within almost 3 months. Could not get to 6 month annual bc personal issue this was month of June, I was told I wouldn't be able to be seen until November! After explaining issues. Begin to have pregnancy symptoms again, no cycle, i was very concerned bc I was very strict with all birth control measures. Called explaining to clinic, Dr. Perret was out so I requested to see Dr. Laguaite who performed my section, for a peace of mind that everything was okay. She called and I was made to feel so small, stupid and dumb. She chose to focus on the fact I used the wrong wording as saying I had a 6 month follow up but was not seen, now I've had a miscarriage pregnancy symptoms again. Dr. Laguaite began to focus 5 minutes on "there's no such thing as a 6 month follow up, so I'm not sure what you're speaking of." I'm speaking about my health and I've explained to you the pertinent concerns I have, I dont care that I said 6 month follow instead annual appt in 7 months. Proceeded to say "well there's been c section, miscarriage no cycle in 3 months, pregnancy symptoms again. No need for you to be seen in my office, you're on low dose birth control that's normal. Its June, Dr. Perret on vacation, you can wait until she returns in September but give her time and dont make an appointment until November, it was August/September." I was blown off, as if I overreacted and dont know my body as a woman. Haven't been seen since a csection and miscarriage. God forbid if there was anything internally wrong. I felt dismissed and belittled. As a health professional, I have learned patients know there bodies, and to investigate to be safe. I've seen things have fatal outcomes because of lack of attention, and things faired okay but to give a patient peace of mind we would go above and beyond. Very hurt and disappointed as a woman, a professional, and woman of color.

Exactly my point... the proof for minority women and infants
