Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Fantastic menu and service.

Best Breakfast in town and it isn t even close. SO GOOD. However - avoid this place on the weekends... The wait for breakfast foods, no matter how good, is not worth an hour of anyone s day. Stay in bed and head down after the tourists have had their fill, or catch them on a weekday - you will never be disappointed here...except for their Green Chili Stew in/on the breakfast burrito. Being from New Mexico, this Green Chili Stew is really, really, like - for real - NOT good at all.
Everything else is spot-on though. I just can t get enough of the Wafflelaughugus - eat one at 11am and you won t need a meal the rest of the day! A crisp Belgium-style waffle, topped off with sausage or bacon (why not do both? I do...), cheddar cheese, homemade gravy and two eggs however you want them, all nestled high atop a mound of perfectly cooked hash browns.... Does it get any better??

Overall we had a very enjoyable experience here. The pancakes were great!

We came here for a birthday breakfast and while they were busy, they were very friendly and the food was delicious.

Best place for breakfast in Steamboat with a cozy feel. Loved the biscuits and sausage gravy.

The creek. The staff. The wonderful food. Four-thousand miles around the Big West on a motorcycle and this was the best meal I had. I was in tears, it was so good.

We just went in for a quick sandwich and we were pleasantly surprised. The deli sandwiches were excellent. We got the salmon and a roast beef slider with peppers. We also got two chilled coffees which were delicious and fresh. The view is amazing and the music was calming. The service was excellent. I can't say enough about this place. If you want lunch or a bite to eat and a spectacular view and service come here! :) We will be back!

Creekside always has delicious food. Many unique options that offer tons of flavor and twists on the classics. Service is okay and the restaurant is clean.

The food here is outstanding. We come to Steamboat Springs every January and always stop by Creekside once or twice. I've never had anything I didn't like. The wait staff and owner are incredibly friendly. If I had to pick a negative it's that it's always busy, but after you visit there, you'll understand why.

If it's your first trip, I'd suggest the Barn Burner.

Quoted 45 mins. Waited outside 1 hour. Was finally able to convince other people my party we had wasted enough time.

At top of list and a 4 top opened which would have been great for our party of 4. Hostess tells us they are giving it to another party.

Not a huge diverse lunch menu, but o got the turkey sandwich and changed bread to sourdough. It was spot in delicious with layers of flavor. I am also unbelievably full!

Great gluten free options and speedy service. Andrea was our waitress and was such a doll. Warned my not to try my boyfriends burrito because the sauce was not GF. It was busy for a Sunday morning but we did the yelp waitlist and our table was ready when we arrived. No waiting it was amazing. We will definitely go back here when we are in town again.

The name doesnt lie, there is a creek right behind this place and it is dynamite.

Small, quiet, a touch off the beaten path. Truly "Creek side". Great servers and tasty, home cooked, fresh and generally healthy food choices.

Visited this place for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. Clean, warm environment, very friendly service. lots of different menu options and even some great adult breakfast beverages. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Steamboat!

Great food and the bartender is super friendly, the hostess was very rude though. I came in two days in a row, had a great experience the first time but the second time in I was told I need to be put on a list to even sit at the bar... I saw there were many open seats open at the bar but I was told to wait 20 minutes just to be seated at those same open seats I first saw. I would definitely come here again but I hope I don t get the same hostess.

Ryan was our server. He was great! Good was amazing. Local ingredients when possible. Bakery and meets are done in house. Great menus items. Highly recommended.

AMAZING FOOD! I mean, just absolutely amazing.

They would deserve more stars but they often lie about the wait time. I don't think it's malicious, but it's extremely annoying. Recently, I waited 2 hours after being told to expect 45 minutes. The eggs Benedict almost made it worthwhile but it was lunchtime when we left because of the horrendous wait.

Very popular on the weekends!! Be prepared to put your name in and go enjoy Downtown Steamboat for a bit. IT'S WORTH THE WAIT! My party of 4 waited a little over an hour but that gave us time to go shopping Downtown. Once seated the service was fast and pleasant. Food was phenomenal. Portions were fair as well as pricing. Will recommend to anyone traveling to Steamboat Springs and will return FOR SURE!! Hope this helps and you enjoy.

Didn t even eat hostess is very rude. We went for breakfast and waited which wasn t an issue because I heard the food was good. We asked for a table outside and she held up her hand and told us to wait in a very rude voice. We waited then she said our table inside would be ready and we kindly said we would like to be outside which is fine but she rudely said it would be a longer wait because we didn t ask for a table outside. We left and won t be going back.

Absolutely delicious breakfast! Highly recommended!

The best brunch I've had in a long time. The wait time might be a bit of a hassle (an hour or so at the least). If you have a large group (9-10 people) call in advance and they might be able to at least prepare for your arrival although you will still have to wait (we waited additional 40 minutes)

Best thick cut bacon this side of the Cosmos. I usually get the coffee infused pork and green chili benne with a side of bacon and green chili grits because that's all a caffeine reliant chili craving carnivore needs. But it's all good here.

The food was great! We sat inside so we didnt have to wait to be seated, not sure if there are views of the creek from the outdoor patio.

Got the Patterson Barn Burner and it was a very solid meal. The gravy was very tasty and the biscuit hit the spot. Unlimited coffee and friendly staff always makes for a good breakfast. I would definitely come back here the next time I m in town.

New ownership in July 2018. Our first visit since then. Will try it again, but it has lost something! ( it was not packed on a Monday around 9am as before). The the help is the same & excellent. Our meal still thing about it.

Great corned beef hash! Waiting area is small and very busy on weekends. Stay close by though, I gave the hostess our phone number - returned when our table was ready and was told our table had just been given away - within 2 minutes!

Great place,. Extremely busy and loud. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They definitely need to expand current location. The food was delicious.. prices are to be expected for the area.

Nearly always too long of a wait, not enough space, & they won't make to-go orders from the main menu, pretty bush league restaurant...

Tried ordering a Barn Burner over the phone & was told I can choose from 3 basic menu items. Yelp, which is used for their wait list, states "Take-Out: YES", but their take-out menu is extremely limited, & should be reflected as such.

This is the only restaurant in Steamboat that operates in such a manner; perhaps hiring more staff to accommodate your potential customers is in order??

This spot is quite a gem for this community. The menu was diverse enough. Our server ( Brett) was extremely helpful and informative. Everyone in our group was very pleased with their selections..Overall a pleasant dining experience. We ate inside but the area outside looked inviting and cozy. I would definitely give them a try if looking for a place to grab an early or late bite..

Brought a party of 21 in today for lunch. We called ahead so they knew we were coming, and they were remarkably accommodating. The food was great and the service was even better. Would highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast served along a creek with trout. Pancakes, a dozen varieties of eggs Benedict, bracing coffee, bacon, yumm.

Vibrantly lively space with solid service and delicious menu. Just off main street enough to eat outside free of much traffic noise.

Their "beef stew" is a of bowl thick, gelatinous, indigestible gravy with two small pieces of meat and a few tiny, overcooked scraps of carrot and potato. It gave me heartburn and indigestion for the rest of the day. I could never present such a disgusting meal to anyone. If they can't make a decent bowl of stew, they shouldn't have it on the menu. Service was mediocre.

My husband and I have been visiting Steamboat for years. Having breakfast at Creekside on our day of departure is a tradition!! Recently we were informed the restaurant had changed owners. NO!! Far often than not things are never the same. Well were were pleasantly surprised this past Sunday. The Cure All Omelette was still on the menu and as tasty as ever. Had the cheesy green chili grits which were AWESOME! The staff was amazing! Miss the painted vines on the ceiling but the remodel is very nice. Thank you for not changing....too much!!

We came at about 9am and were able to get a table inside pretty quickly, but any later and I would definitely recommend using the Yelp app to put your name on the waiting list. We both got eggs benedict, and our poached eggs were overcooked all the way through. We told the waitress and she immediately brought out some perfectly poached eggs for us and offered additional hollandaise if we needed it. 5 stars for making it right very quickly!

The hog hash was amazing. The portions are large. Great place to start your morning
