We stopped in early for breakfast based on a recommendation of a local and this place didn t disappoint! The portions were hearty and seasoned to perfection. She had the local bacon and I had the (special) brisket hash. Definitely one of the best breakfast experiences we ve had.

Creekside has always been a breakfast staple in Steamboat, and known for their Eggs Benedict. To be honest, I was slightly skeptical after Rex's Family of restaurants bought it. (Not really sure WHY I was skeptical considering ALL the RFoR are bomb. Probably because the majority of restaurants that change hands in Steamboat change and eventually fail, i.e. The Tugboat, Cugino's...). Anyway, my wife and I went today for a late breakfast and were not disappointed. The service was good and the food was amazing as it always has been.
I highly suggest the Corned Beef Hash, it is perfection on a plate. Little light on the portioning for the price, but absolutely amazing.

Had a terrible experience this morning at the Creekside Cafe. We were traveling through town and stopped for breakfast. We were told there would be a 10-15 min wait for a table. After waiting 15 min, I checked in and was told it would be a few more minutes. After 30 min, I checked in again. My boyfriend explained that we had a full day of driving ahead of us and couldn t wait much longer. She then walked us to a table and told my boyfriend he was rude. We were shocked at that comment, because he had not said anything rude to her, just calmly explained our situation. We decided not to eat there because we were being treated poorly. As we left, we told her that she was actually being rude. She turned to the people standing around and asked if she was out of line. They hadn t heard her comment to us and backed her up. Wow. I ve never had a hostess call us names before. Terrible customer service!

This place....wow, maybe the best meal of our trip. I couldn t thank my friend enough for choosing this place. I don t see how you will be disappointed unless you want some greasy spoon chuck wagon dinner which this place is not. Bloody Mary s yes yes yes and the food was delicious. I will return, but not soon enough

Beautiful setting next to the Creek! I prefer to sit outside to enjoy this! Great service- all waitresses are super kind even though it was crazy busy- nice waiting area outside if weather allows, which also allows you to have a cocktail while you wait for your table. I've been here a handful of times and there is no need to even try another place because the food is phenomenal. The grass isn't always greener on the other side!

This place is where to go. Tried the other place down the main road and creekside beats it ten fold. Their spice level is a little higher which I love. Their food is fresh and you can tell they season everything well. If I'm in steamboat again, I'm only coming here for breakfast. Staff was friendly as well

My hamburger was probably one of the worst I ever had. I ordered medium, and it came well, hard, and dry. Our server never stopped back to see if everything was okay, and forgot to serve me my drink. The other dishes were good, but the service needs to step it up.

The variety here is amazing and the green chili eggs Benedict was delicious! Had the perfect amount of heat and a great flavour.
The caramel latte was also great and not overly sweet like a lot of other places. Highly recommend this place for a great brunch :)

My favorite breakfast/lunch spot in town! Crazy good breakfast burrito. For the adventurer there is always the wafelhaugus (or however you would spell that) which is like a little bit of all yumminess piled on top of each other. One of my personal favorites (other than the soup and salad, which are always awesome) is the croissant breakfast sandwich. Their jam is amazing. Their bacon is amazing. Ok.... everything is amazing. Including their wait staff. Love. This. Place.

When you visit Steamboat Springs, this definitely has to be on your list of attractions. Delicious homemade food and great service. The waffles were so light and the sausage gravy superb.

Always recommend this place to anyone visiting the boat...their breakfast is perfect and everyone is incredibly friendly. Portions, price, and atmosphere are everything I want to enjoy before hitting the mountain. Their coffee is shockingly good too. Come hungry and tackle the wafflaughagus.

Great casual breakfast spot downtown steamboat. The Benedict's are great, especially the bacon avocado tomato or the stage coach. They do use a strange ketchup though that should probably be replaced.

We had breakfast at Creekside. They're handling Covid very well, tables separated, staff wearing masks and menus on-line. Food was delicious, I had veggie omelet and a pancake. Potatoes are too spicy. My husband had the BAT eggs Benedict. Portions are plentiful and food is delicious.

The Creekside is a excellent choice for lunch and breakfast. The atmosphere is always pretty lively, this is one of the more popular areas to eat at in Steamboat. In the summer the Creekside has a great outdoor eating area and the waiters are skilled and friendly. If there is ever a line go out and check out some of the local stores. The staff will inform you of any open tables once you give your name (they will text you once ready).

Had eggs Benedict and ham on it tasted like pure salt, the chocolate milk had barely any syrup in it and a large glass was quite small, lastly my friend ordered scrambled eggs and received 1 egg scrambled.

The food is really good, and healthy choices too! The homemade jam is always eaten and taken home to eat before we leave! The place is not huge, so come early before 9am to get a quick seat. They have lots of large tables for families too. In the summer the patio and creek provide a great relaxing atmosphere, and in the winter the coffee hits the spot with the good portions of food - pancakes, waffles, local sausage - you name it.

The corned beef hash was fantastic (the bell peppers gave it great range), but my favorite part might have been the biscuit, with a dab of the mixed-berry jam. The service was beyond welcoming and well into exuberance. Feels like the kind of place where you can't go far wrong no matter what you order, but it's worth asking about favorites just to soak up the justifiable enthusiasm.

A bit of a wait but followed by nice service and the best huevos rancheros I've ever had. Prices are good, portions are large, and local-sourced ingredients make for high quality tasty food.

I dont do 5 stars. but this place deserves it. best eggs Benedict since I came to USA 4 years ago. and thoughtful, generous staff. we ate there on their busiest day of the year, and they were still brilliant.

Great Food, terrible service. All of the food is delicious and worth the wait on the weekends. There are very comfortable seats outside, next to the creek and the flowers are beautiful. Actually, a 30 minute wait is
very pleasant.

We had the kid cakes and an omelet with a side of green chile cheddar grits. The chiles tasted almost like they were just roasted. They certainly were not from a can. My kid finished is entire meal, which he usually doesn't do.

On the other hand, the staff could not get us through there fast enough. They took our order before I even had a moment to pick up the menu, let alone read it. The never stopped by to check water, or anything else, until after I paid the bill which came about three minutes after the food was served. Given the fact that I was with a three--year old child, (who is perfectly behaved in restaurants) I did not want to linger but a little less pushing would have been nice. As a final note, the staff is actually very friendly, just hurried.

Good food, cute little stream running right outside next to dining area. Staff can at the least be nicer to newcomers and not be so obvious that they prefer to serve their friends or returning customers. But my food was good and coffee was ok.

Great food at a reasonable price. Expect about $12-15 a plate. We had a wait but they were very accurate with timing. Our food came out very fast and was quite tasty. Lots of good flavor and spice. If you are faint of spicy make sure to ask that your food has little to no spice. My fiance got the cauliflower fritters and she was fine as she cannot tolerate spicy food. Diablo bloody Mary was great and had a nice kick to it. Breakfast burrito was amazing possibly a homemade tortilla with a good filling, not wrapped too tightly so it was great to eat with a fork and knife.

We came here for breakfast via Yelp search during our week stay in Steamboat Springs. We wanted something close to a coffee joint we were visiting across the street and found Creekside that also came with good reviews. There's parking on the side of the main street and very short walking distance. We stepped in and was greeted by a friendly female worker whom gave us recommendations when we inquired what was popular.

I ordered a vegetable omelette with egg whites, it comes with toast and a side of hash browns. I enjoyed the fact that all the vegetables inside the omelette were cooked (I've had plenty omelettes where the veggies were still raw), even more so that their egg whites tasted fresh instead of the ones from a carton. I'm also usually not the type to like has browns, but the way they made theirs were yummy (or maybe I just let it sit too long before I ate it so they weren't super crunchy-- which is my preferred preference LOL). Also, a wee bit sad that the portion was on the smaller end though.

I'm bummed that I couldn't get to sit at their patio in the back, as I saw that it's next to a creek and very quaint looking. Hopefully we visit again during warmer days in Colorado (it was winter and snowing when we visited) so I can sip tea and eat brunch at their patio. :)

We ALWAYS make a trip to Creekside when we are in Steamboat. Great brunch, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. Not to mention: i left my purse at the restaurant before leaving for the front range. The staff was nice enough to overnight my purse, and I had it back within 36 hours. Talk about customer service! Thanks, Creekside! See you next time!

Such a great experience. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all incredible. My 6 year old son loved the french toast, which uses the local bread from the neighboring bakery! Highly recommended!!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in steamboat springs, and took several day trips to different restaurants and tourist hot spots. With that said, Creekside Cafe was the one of two spots we repeatedly went back to. Everytime we went we loved it more and more. I highly recommend their Wafflelaughagus!
