Coyle designed and installed our flooring, cabinets and counters for a kitchen remodel. They were an outstanding team to work with! Highly recommend.

Coyle Carpet One came highly recommended to us from a family member and they do not disappoint. Everything from advice and selection assistance to working with us to stay within our budget. The install was very well done, seams are invisible, our staircase had a 90 degree turn and the padding and corners in it are amazing. In a word, effortless for the customer. Down to earth people working here, feels like family, call them.

Terrible customer service! Bought carpet for the whole house, had to have them come back and fix things around the doorways. They came right back when I called them to fix it and it looks great now. Had free refills on carpet cleaner and I when I came to get a free refill they said I had to contact the vendor who provides it or I had to buy it. Rotten customer follow-up don't purchase from here. Called vendor and they also would not provide refill.

Edit: Troy called me and apologized for the confusion. He provided me with a new bottle of a different brand they now carry and even delivered it to my house! I am very appreciative of that and the service he provided for me. I have not tried it yet, but Troy assures me it's better than what was originally provided. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because of the hassle I had to go through, otherwise it'd be a 5. Thank you Troy!

We built a new home with Acker and they recommended Coyle for our cabinets, counters, hardwood flooring, carpet, and tile. While Coyle does have a good selection of products and competitive prices, i would not recommend Coyle.

Sales experience - 3 stars - Our sales associates guided us through the selection process and were prompt with communication and helping us to understand budget impact. However, they didn't take very good/reliable notes from our conversations and we had to fix their errors many times through the process. They also didn't do a good job to explain potential impacts/downsides to some of our choices. Passable, but overall i would expect better support/attention to detail on a 6 figures sale.

Install - 2 stars. To sum it up - inconsistent at best.
- Tile installation was a nightmare. they had to re-do one of our bathrooms 3 times to get the floor right. Our master shower drain and accent tile were installed incorrectly. They came out to address the issue, but it still looks like an amateur job.
- Carpet on stairs needed to be ripped out an reinstalled (5 months after move in).
- Wood floor went in well overall. A lot of the solid hardwood arrived warped/unusable, which led to some issues, but those are out of Coyle's control. After the installation, the floors were protected well and the tape they used to lay down temporary protection left visible lines that are still present today.
-Carpet in bedroom looks great. no issues there.
-Counter tops look great. no issues there.
-We hired our own carpenter to install the cabinets/built-ins, so no comment on that service.

Scheduling/post-sale service - 1 star. It took >5 months after move in for Coyle to address all of our issues. On 3 occasions (of 5) they cancelled our service date at the last minute (night before or day of service) for reasons well within their control. I finally talked to the owner, Tom, who offered an apology and a gift card. The gift card is worth approx 0.16% of the cost of our job...not exactly a meaningful gesture.

Of all of the companies we worked with during our build, Coyle was the worst. Communication, accountability, ownership, and service are severely lacking.

Nicole Schreck has helped us on a few of our home projects and is always our go-to at Coyle Carpet. She is very knowledgeable and quick with responses. We have been happy with all our experiences.

We worked with Nicole at Coyle Carpet in Madison WI. Nicole helped guide us through all the selections for our new home build. Nicole was knowledgeable on all the various products, had a good eye for putting things together and was very patient with us through our numerous visits to finalize our choices. I would highly recommend Nicole.

I recently went to Coyle Carpet one looking for samples to re-do a living room up in Door County. Even though he knew I would not be able to purchase the carpet from Coyle, and would have to go through the Door County store, Grant Vitense could not have been more helpful. He knew details and suggestions about which types of carpet could work and why that I would never have thought of. He pointed out patterns and nuances of each of the options I had pulled that I would never have noticed, some of which totally changed the course of my decision. It was clear that he really just wanted me to find the right choice, regardless of where I purchased it, which I found quite respectful and professional. Plus, he actually is just a cool and easy guy to talk to. I will be back for sure when I need to do something here in Madison. Thanks so much Grant!

We had carpet installed from Coyle today. The sales process was smooth and Tina (at the store) was fantastic sharing the options, listening to understand to know what we wanted for our home. Also, so we didn't need to come back to the store to sign the purchase agreement, since she had to follow up to confirm material availability, we handled all of that electronically. I called to check on the install and materials needed since we ripped the old carpet up and recycled at Coyle. Tina was helpful to make sure the install would go well and the materials needed would be with the installer since we made a discovery when getting the old carpet pulled up. The installer came with in the agreed time slot. He did a great job and asked questions when needed for the install. He cleaned up and delivered as expected. I appreciated the selection options, pricing and service from the initial phone call to inquire to the install today.

We had a great experience with Coyle. The in-store rep was very knowledgeable about the the best flooring options for our home with pets, and walked us through all of our options. We got in-home measurements in a timely fashion and the rep was very friendly!

Installer (sorry, forgot his name) was very efficient and did an excellent job! Carpet was installed in October 2020 during COVID-19, so we had multiple people at home online for work and school, installer was respectful of this and did his best to limit noise and work around everyone. Installer was also wearing face mask entire time while in our house during install. When carpet install was finished, installer did a very thorough clean up including vacuuming of the newly installed carpet.

Overall, it was an excellent experience with Coyle and we would definitely recommend!

Coyle is a great place. If it's tile or carpet they usually have what you need. I stopped today for a 6x12 piece of carpet and found one. I asked for non slip backing and to my amazement my sales person told me it was expensive there and I should check out the big box stores. I used to have a business and I actually had an employee that did things like this. My customer told me about the incident and it was corrected. Besides it's below zero and I didn't feel like driving around. I got what they had and it was of great quality and exactly what I needed. Good store and great products. Coyle 2 thumbs up. That employee....well...

I needed to replace the carpet in my bedroom. It was so old and worn out. I shopped all of the stores in Madison and most of them didn't have the color I wanted. So, I came back to Coyle because they helped me with a remodeling project 10 yrs ago and were just great! I AM IN LOVE with my new bedroom! Coyle has the best team of people around! Becky Frederick listened to what I was looking for and found just the right brand, color and price-range that I was looking for. Dennis came out and measured the room quickly, accurately and professionally, and Andrew and Lee removed the old carpet and installed the new one in less than 2 hours and were a really great team! And they vacuumed and disposed of the old carpet! I LOVE COYLE CARPET! Thank you for my new room that I will enjoy for years to come.

We built our new house in Oregon and moved in about a year ago. We decided to use Coyle for all our floors. I did the research, and Floors For Less was NOT cheaper than Coyle! We did vinyl planks, carpet and vinyl tile. Becky, the woman we worked with was super helpful and knew her floors - which we appreciated! There was a communication error on both ends, so the wrong floor was delivered but it was caught in time, and Becky helped remediate that so our floors could get installed the next day! Very happy with them, and plan to use them again when we finish our basement someday!

Nicole help us completely redo our bathroom, Kitchen counter-tops to granite tops, and and tile floors for the kitchen and bathrooms. Very helpful, knowledgeable, prompt and explained things well.

Had a wonderful experience, from spending months coordinating people to get decisions made (thanks, Megan, for your patience and excellent help) to having an exceptionally well-done install (thanks Dave and Dan!). It's been a couple months, and I couldn't be more pleased with my floors. Not only did they deal with the mess left behind by the previous floors that had been put in with WAY too many staples, but also went above and beyond to make sure that everything is level and without awkward gaps, which was a significant undertaking, considering we went from several mixed layers of flooring (e.g. laminate/vinyl/underlay/vinyl/vinyl/underlay) to just sheet vinyl throughout the whole level of the house. Now, with my dog in season and mopping a daily task, I truly appreciate the quality of both the flooring and the install.

The only bit that wasn't ideal was the initial guy who came out to look at the existing floors, but I believe that was due to extenuating circumstances. (He took an extensive and upsetting personal call in my kitchen, which was quite uncomfortable for me, trying to be available to show him around once he was done, and I'm sure for him as well. He also misdiagnosed vinyl with concrete as a leveling agent as ceramic tile, but it was admittedly hard to tell whether the concrete was grout or not from the view available.)

Nice carpet choices. It used to one of the premiere places but customer service has suffered with poor management.

We remodeled our basement which included finishing our storage room to a bedroom and extending our half bath to a full bathroom. Our sales consultant was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me understand each step along the way. We organized the entire remodel so it was nice having someone to lean on to know when each step should happen. They did such an awesome job that we ended up carpeting the rest of our basement. They worked very hard to squeeze us in to get the basement done in time for our new baby. The carpet is perfect and Nicole spent a lot of time helping me find the perfect fit for us. We also did our bathroom cabinets through them and they are beyond amazing!!

We had a couple of issues related to the manufacturers materials and Coyle was outstanding in follow up getting replacement product and re-installing quickly and professionally. The end result looks AMAZING and their commitment to stand behind the product even when it wasn't their fault is why I'll keep going back for my future needs.

Absolutely the worst Experience ever. They installed my LVT 2 years ago. I noticed that it was gapping. The first rep comes in and says that's not Acceptable, ok what are you going to do about it?? We will follow up. Weeks go by until I call again. Than I get someone new and he wanted samples to send into the company. Weeks go by again. Well the flooring passes those inspections. So couple more weeks go by, Than they hire a specialist to come and check the flooring and the gaping. After couple more weeks go by. The results come back that I was right and that they didn't use the right glue to put the product down. In the mean time I had the one Rep when I called him told me to "F - off and Hung up on me"
I than when to the next person that has now told me the Flooring was to be in on the 6th of March and the following week someone would be contacting me. Well is the 22nd and still waiting.
Oh did I mention not once did my Salesperson ever call me. And this has been going on for 2 years ( shows they care)

Attached are pictures to see Where is the glue?? Since all of this our Salesperson has taken the time to create a page called Clients unrealistic expectations instead of trying to contact the client and help. HMM guess I shouldn't have expected glue?!

We've worked with Coyle carpet 3 times now, so I figured I should spend a minute to write a review. The sales people are very friendly and accommodating. They have great suggestions and the selection is amazing. We've been very happy with both the large area rug we special ordered and the "stock" carpet they've installed in our basement and stairways. I would recommend Coyle Carpet to anyone looking for nice quality carpet.

We have had a great experience working with Bobbi to design our home and most recently a bar addition. Everything looks great and they were very easy to work with and came up with great ideas! Would definitely recommend to our friends and family- and already have!

We went to Coyle to replace carpeting after a sump pump failure flooded our lower level. Grant helped us find the perfect color. Installer did a great job going around the slate tile in the bar area with our new carpet. We love it.

Our experience with Coyle was really good. We spent some long days there picking out several items for our new home we were building. The staff was extremely welcoming and never made us feel uncomfortable for having our son sprawled out in front of their TV eating snacks all day. They have a great selection and very knowledgeable people who helped us make some great selections.

From the start of the process through completion everything was great. Becky was knowledgable, and answered all of my questions. The installation went flawlessly. The new carpet has really dressed things up. I would highly recommend Coyle.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered carpet from Coyle last October. They did such an unprofessional job on installation - we had to repaint every wall they installed carpet on, and as well as all of the trim. When I spoke with one of the managers, they had no reaction and said that was normal. I've had carpet installed from Home Depot in the past, in tighter spaces, and the outcome was significantly higher quality - no touch up painting necessary. Later that year, when I went to order a countertop from them and they cut it so bad that it didn't fit the existing vanity. I had to get the manufacturer involved to get any resolution on it (it was a $2,300 quartz countertop, and luckily the manufacturer also found this unacceptable). So on the second attempt, the countertop still didn't fit so they had to cut out part of our vanity. While that itself is not unusual, they did such a hack job altering the vanity that they essentially sanded the cutout to be about 5x bigger than it needed it to be - making it look like a bad DIY job. On top of that, the countertop corners and edges were rounded way too far, despite my requests to keep them square. It looks cheap, and it's totally unacceptable for a counter of that caliber. I know there is no point in following up as there's no escalation path. They have unbelievably poor customer service and won't stand behind bad craftsmanship. If you can go anywhere else, please do. Their product offering is really good, but their installation expectations are low, and there will be almost no support if it's not installed well. That's so disappointing considering the type of projects (flooring, cabinetry, etc) that one typically does through them are a significant investment.

We have been very happy with our new vanity. It fits well with our decor and install was quick and easy.

Dawn helped me and she was great. She helped me find a nice commercial rug for my store, Wild Child and it looks really nice and it's a good carpet (My second or third from Coyle). Then when I came to pick it up it was rolled up the long way and no way would fit in my van. The young guy there said, no problem I'll re-roll it the short way. He did and was very nice about it even though it was getting close to closing. It fit easily in my van and I was on my way.I like the rug a lot!

She listened to our needs and offered expert design advice. The quality is more than we expected for the price. The products arrived precisely when she said they would and were delivered when we were ready for them. She also made herself available for any questions that our carpenter had during install. Whenever I had a question or concern she quickly took care of things. And, bonus points, the cost of the countertops was significantly less than the exact same item at another store in town.

Inconsistent service from the consultant. Helpful in the store. Difficult to connect with to finalize the project. No communication once the order was placed to advise on timeline or expectations. I realize we were a small project but good service should be consistent regardless of the customer.

Joey (measurements) & Melissa (scheduled install) were both great. I don't remember the installer's name (Andrew?) ... He was awesome as well.
