Talked with Colleen about weatherization stuff. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Was on a hold a bit but once answered the staff was courteous and actually forwarded me to a person.

Power went out last night during a terrible storm and Cowlitz PUD had almost 10000 people back online in about 24 hours. Phenomenal job guys and thanks.

The PUD is always so helpful and great customer service.

This is kinda crazy that the PUD gets such awful ratings as the people there have always been nice to my face, lol! The price of power does seem to be getting out of hand though. But I m very glad to hear that people are getting paid well. People who complain about that should instead be trying figure out why they aren t getting paid well rather than being a hater... JUST SAYING!

Every time we've had an issue, it's been resolved promptly. And for those complaining about prices, it's about 4 cents per kw/h -- and since we moved from a place that was literally ten times that amount, we're always pleasantly surprised by our bills. AND we generate our own hydro power in this county, which is awesome, too!

Pud is not making exceptions for pay in person accounts during the virus outbreak. I am a high risk individual and I was told I still have to come in and pay- they will not take my payment over the phone. Way to work with the community and keep people safe

Because a staff member entered my address wrong I've been waiting 2 weeks for a refund and now will have to potentially wait another 30 days at least before I can get my money. Very disappointing. The staff didn't even seem to care. I understand everyone makes mistakes but at least act more professional about it.

Colleen from the weatherization program is phenomenal. You can book a (free) weatherization audit through the PUD and she will come out and give you bunches of tips to keep your heating bill down and rebates to help pay for the upgrades. She is knowledgeable, personable, and as helpful as anyone I have encountered. Our PUD has some great resources and Colleen is one of them.

Power outages happen from time to time. Now they seem to be happen more frequently which means calling to report the outage. Incredibly apathetic and disinterested phone support when calling to report or get a status update after 3 hours of being without power while caring for two disabled eldarly.
