Cowabunga Bay Review

We had a great time summer 2018 we would like to go again but when the the water park open for swimming and things like that? Because we need a date

Water is super cold and when I asked why the kids area isnt heated they said the sun will heat it up. The temperature of the water was in the mid 60s and all the poor kids were shivering and not wanting to play anymore. They are trying to save money by not turning on the heaters.

The only suggestion I have is for Cowabunga Bay to have more food options that aren't fried and/or more vegetarian options.

My kids and I love coming here. Great fun, friendly staff, and the food is pretty good. It's a little pricy, but if you order a large pizza it's enough for a family. They will also refill water for free. The only downside is there never seen to be enough rafts, but overall it's a great place and we love our season passes!

My bad..I ment to put 5 stars. My server was a lil slow. Took an hour to get 2 pretzels and a hotdog but she was very nice. Had lots of fun !

Me and my friend took our kids rented a Cabana and had a blast we had a server take our orders and get our food so we didn't have to stand in line a safe to put our valuables in plenty of I've water be time ever

It's just a super fun place to go when it's hot outside

Beyond livid right now. Booked a cabana for the 24th and our printed and emailed confirmation time says 10 45 am. Showed up today and all of a sudden they're only open from 4-8 pm. What a waste of a day. Office is closed and there's nobody to speak to. Will not be back. This is beyond ridiculous.

I Heard that 1 star reviews are met with barred entrance, I wouldn't recommend.

Very nice place in the summer for swimming and even now that they made a wonderland for the kids to see and appreciate Christmas!my son have so much fun although is kinda cold ..its worth it!food tasting from different countries is great too..

Can't beat having a waterpark in the desert. Best of all it's not too far from the popular Las Vegas strip. This waterpark has great water slides, and best of all, a huge wave pool. The atmosphere at this waterpark is great! Highly recommend to any family looking for a place to cool off from the high desert temperatures. One thing I really like, is the staff maintain the cleanliness of the park. Thank you Cowabunga Bay!

I love that place a lot and my family love it there to but we might not go there much because we are a little busy some times

I really dont like the fact that you have to pay to park in there own parking lot. like where else would you park. $7 to park. $ 10 for a locker. It's a fun place to take the kids. the food is also pricey. they do have half off tickets at end of season. place is very clean.

We went to the Christmas Town and enjoyed the trip. Rock climbing, laser tag and the bounce houses were the kids' favorites. We stayes 2 hours and didn't do everything there was to offer. The lights were beautiful!

It's usuly fun. But not happy when the rules aren't consistent for everyone.

overpriced, crowded, and dirty already even though it's only a couple of years old. big park with lots of slides and other activities but with the immense crowds, hard to ride anything more than once.

It's the best water park in Las Vegas. The prices are pretty lame but the atmosphere and the joy of it all makes it worth it. If you only want to go a couple times then go for it but if you want a lot of fun in this heat then get the season pass. It's a pretty penny but you will have access to it whenever it's open, as well as a discount on food and other merchandise. Suntan lotion, sandals/flip flops, a waterproof phone case lanyard, and other swim gear are sold there. You can rent out a locker, small, medium, and large to put your belongings in. The pools are clean and even with the amount of people, it's still not crowded. Wonderful place, can't wait to go back!

Great family fun! They were really good about occupancy restrictions.

DAY FEELS ALREADY RUINED IF YOU HAVE A GROUPON SOME STAFF HAVE LOWKEY ATTITUDES, ITS 1130 THEY OPENED AT 1100AM YOU SHOULDVE STAYED HOME IF YOUNWERE IN A BAD MOOD. ENDED USING ONE GROUPON DUE TO AN ISSUE AND CAME OUT OUT AN ADDITION 40 TO BUY A TICKETS. HOW STUPID AND WHY COULDNT SHE UH NDERSTAND ONCE I PRESS VIEW VOUCHER IT IS UNREFUNDAVLE ...GEEZ

We love going here as a family. Our baby loves the water so this makes a perfect get away to go to when its really hot out! The staff are young ones but there great! We love the lazy river. Its clean & there are always plenty of tubes.

Not many rides and BEWARE OF FOOD N BEVERAGE PRICES. THEIR INSANE. EX. $9 FOR A SMALL SLICE OF PIZZA. WATER BOTTLES MELTING IN SUN THEN REFRIDGERATED

Awesome park! Water was HEAVILY chlorinated though.

Fun place to cool off but the water is almost too warm to be refreshing for mid-july.
Also Maps asked me if there was a bar...i said No but you can buy beer, just not mixed drinks or liqueur.

Went with family, it was locals half off date. Grandkids enjoyed themselves and not as crowded as I thought it would be. Thinking of doing it again before they close for the season. Also last minute Cabana was well worth it, that was a plus.

Well if your sorta over weight you ain't going to get to far on most of the rides that's for sure especially paying like $90.00 for two waste of money for sure lazy river was aight tho

Good thing I didn t have to spend my hard earned money to enter this place. The first last and only time I will ever go here. Waited in line only to watch the ride get stuck for 10min on the big blue wave thing. As other people in line were yelling to employees that the ride was stuck. Finally someone get in and got the 4person tube floating again. Note I stated 4person raft. So when my daughter and I get to ride we can t due to in accurate calibration on the scale. We collectively weigh 180 pounds which is well under the load limit per manufacture specs. We were then forced to go down an adjacent ride to get to the bottom as my daughter cannot ride by herself nor would they let her ride with anyone else due to the fact of this floating disease in the air. I express my opinion to the operating manager on duty only to be chased out by some maybe security punk because they did not like my attitude granted I had just been standing in line for 45 minutes in the sun do you have a very unpleasant ride down the slide. To cap off the icing on the cake we all left after that party of 4 and as my girl exited they let her leave with an alcoholic drink in her hand.

Make sure you are under 260lbs if you want to slide here. That is the maximum weight you can be. They weigh you before you go down the slides every time. Other than that, great water park.

The park is amazing. There staff members are all very combative.

Best place to have fun with the kids or an adult funday. But if you can't swim beware of the wave pool.

I wish that they had more rides but i did enjoy my time there they have food drinks and sun I really liked going between 3 til closing no lines or long lines anyway the staff is nice they need more souvenirs in the shop in the lazy pool they need more working floaty things it's very kid friendly they have a whole area for babies 0-8 yrs old the cabanas are expensive but worth it if you have a lot of people or want to throw a party overall cool place

Ran down park, unfriendly staff, needs to be updated and why are multiple slides broken down constantly? I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS PARK if you re expecting a good time.

My girls and I love this place. Its clean (for a water park). I love how the water isn't subzero like most places. Worth the price of admission.

Great place to get away for the day. It can get busy and line's do get long but if your willing to wait, the rides are worth it!!! Food is great too.

I liked it but why do you have to pay for a chair, what if you want to move around to different attractions. You see all the empty chairs but the are taken but you wont see anyone in them for hours.

Always overcrowded long lines very few rides not a very good water park. Not worth the money.

Love this water park for our family this is definitely a lot better than Wet and Wild.

So much better than Wet n Wild and cleaner and food reasonable for large family

The park itself was fun, it's a bit smaller then wet n wild. I went as a group of four and as we went on the lazy river, two of my friends got their flip flops stolen. We went to the gift shop to try and get replacement pairs, so they won't burn their feet on the pavement. Two pairs of flip flops is 40$, that was more then the cost of our tickets. Needless to say, we where all upset about the situation.

Perfect sized water park for those with young kids. Took my 10yo for her bday and she was ecstatic.

This water park is awesome food little kids, big kids and adults! It has a whole kids area with all kinds of fun features. For others it has several slides a lazy river and a wave pool. The food court quality is not very good.

Family friendly fun! The weekends are open till 10pm & have a DJ, fire dancers & fireworks! The only negative thing I can say is that the concession stand prices are crazy expensive! I always pack sandwiches for my family, leave them in a cooler in the car, then go out & eat at the picnic tables outside the front gate.

Great food selections, clean park and they know what they are doing.

This place had a much better kids cove than Wet n Wild. We appreciate the free "Good Grades and Teacher" day, and we love going using our Pogo Pass.

I have gone to cowabunga bay for almost two years and last year I lost my Apple Watch in the wage pool and went back this year to see if they would maybe have it and when I went to go ask the lost and found I told them that I had lost an Apple Watch almost a year ago and they checked in the back and said that they didn t have any Apple watches and I got sad hopping they were to say yes and no so and hour past I still had a feeling they had it and then I asked my friend if he could go and ask and he said that he had lost an Apple Watch a week ago and they went to the back and check and they shoo him the watch and they just needed proof that it was his so I told him the password and gave him my phone and they needed to charge it because it was dead so we waited and waited and they couldn t get it turned on so this one white guy had asked my friend a bunch of questions and they ended up not giving it to him because it wouldn t turn on so they told us if it s really ours that we needed an Apple Watch so we get an Apple Watch a week later end up going to cowabunga a week later and we told them that we came for the Apple Watch and the same guy had said alright let me go get it and the guy comes back with the dumbest excuse ever that someone had gone and done the same thing and that it connected to their phone so then I m just like that can t be possible because the guy went to the back to go check so if someone claimed it y didn t he tell us in the first place? But anyways imma call them one day and ask if I can speak to the manager cause I don t think nobody knows how to do there job and maybe they didn t trust a 16 year old and a 15 year old I m guessing but that experience made me hate cowabunga bay in Las Vegas

I really suggest that you are incredibly careful with the KIDDIE POOL. Keep and eye on you kids, I let my 10 year old daughter go to the kiddie pool by herself, and about 17 minutes later she and DOCTORS, Which 2 of them were holding her mouth, which was GUSHING blood. 3 of them said " smile! " and her front tooth was GONE. that tooth had previously finished growing. So, we went with the lifeguards. They found they tooth WHOLE, and they reccomend to take her to the hospital, and we got her tooth back in. Oh and also, how she knocked out her tooth was by this. She was going down one of the slides on her stomach, and she was getting up when all of sudden the huge bucket of water that splashes the kids splashed her, and she slipped. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND I WARNED YOU... but rather than that we had a lot of fun! keep up the great work!

Fun waterpark for the family. The kids and I had a very fun day here. Don't forget the sunscreen and to go early

It was a great family experience, and I would recommend it to all my friends

Took family that was here from out of town and my grandsons ages 4 and 9 years old we all had a blast
