Great breakfast restaurant, but expect a wait on the weekends. I went back on a weekday and it was still full, but no wait. The meat lover's scramble was excellent and had a nice blend of meats and cheese and was cooked perfectly. The pancakes and other dishes look tasty, so I will be back to try more.
Great food! This is a really popular place, apparently. The line for a table was nonstop. Prices were good, service was okay. I would definitely go back, but maybe not during their peak times.
Update: came back early on a Sunday, like 7:30AM. No wait at all, and everything came out quick. Very good!
Cozy, very friendly server, owner. Met one of the cousins, super nice.
Food is good, portions are pleasing. I can see this place busy and having lines, we came when it wasn't buzzing.

Excellent food!! They don t use margarine here and use fresh ingredients, and it shows in the taste of the food. Great quality and wonderful, friendly service. Highly recommended!
Very small restaurant. Come early to avoid waiting for a seat. Delicious, quality breakfast with large portions. Lots of options to choose. I built my own omlette and got 3,yes 3pancakes on the side. Everything thing was delicious and cooked well. BF had the crepes with bacon and eggs. He said everything was insanely tasty and filling. Would definitely recommend and return. Oh and fantastic service. We took home our leftovers and he sent us home with a pint of syrup lol not really but you get the idea. Our coffee cups were never empty and that's a great indicator of quality service to me!
Everything here is exactly what you want it to be here and I cant wait for Couzins to reopen.
Great food! Not too greasy like other breakfast spots. Quite and cozy, lots of menu choices! We loved their waffles! We had an omelet, plain waffle, chocolate waffle (delicious) and also a traditional breakfast spread. Coffee was very good and the staff was friendly and attentive. Surprising! Wouldn t guess this quality from such an unassuming place.
Wonderful hole in the wall place. Cozy with friendly service and a good sized menu. The food was excellent with large portions. It was super busy when I was there and I can understand why. Will definitely be going back next time I am in the area. They have some interesting omelet options I want to try.
Drove from Des Moines this morning, seeing that they would be open today according to this listing, only to find out they are closed for remodeling. Could have updated the hours of operation
