Courtyard by Marriott/Residence Inn Fort Collins Review

Overall the stay was ok but the internet was severely lacking and is a factor for me to not stay in the future.

Very clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast with Starbucks reasonable prices.

Really really expensive but good front desk service.

Bistro closed during regular hours. Front desk rep Gage is not a problem solver and provides poor customer service.

It had all the works of a Marriot courtyard. From pool to fitness center and close to near by restaurants and bars.

Staff was great. Stay was comfortable and the Bistro was delicious!

Couldn't find complementary coffee and one of the two room keys didn't work; otherwise it was a great experience. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

It's a great location, very clean, and friendly staff. My only complaint is I stayed a Sunday and a Monday night, and my weekday rate was much higher than my weekend rate, when it's usually the opposite.

Super friendly receptionist, really nice and funny. She did a great job checking us in and making us feel welcomed. Good location. Nice looking room but it smells badly of covered up cigarette smoke with cheap perfume. We tried to see if they had a different king suite room but all they had left were double queen rooms. We are only staying one night, so we will make do but it's pretty disappointing and horrible to smell. Not the hotel's fault that people are rude and smoke in the non-smoking rooms but not pleasant to sleep in.

Recently stayed at the Courtyard in Ft. Collins. The room was clean, and the personnel were friendly and attentive.

They treat you like family! Most delightful group of people work here. Fantastic bistro in the lobby area and charming courtyard fire pit. Plenty of safe parking and you can walk to a few restaurants.

Very well run Courtyard. The staff is nice, the rooms are well kept, and the shower is great. Had to mark down because the windows are dirty and there's no safe in the room.

This is our second stay here at the Marriott courtyard in Foco. It's a nice place to stay. Close to restaurant's.
But.. there's always a but. The toilet last time and the shower this time was dirty. Gross ... We will come back again but I will bring cleaning supplies for the bathroom...

If you don't need or want housekeeping, don't mind your trash cans full, or walking to the front desk for coffee and towels, then this not a bad place to stay.

Great staff, comfortable rooms and extremely accommodating for pets. We moved to Fort Collins in August with our cats and Courtyard was the smoothest aspect of our hectic move. We are truly in their debt. Thank you again!

Everything in the hotel's power to control was great! The fire was nice, the pool area was clean, and the room was newly renovated and comfortable. The overall experience was a little bit let's see than sublime because of the horde of screaming 12-year-old lacrosse players that made our experience at the pool unbearably loud and irritating. They were running in the hallway and playing and screaming in the courtyard. The hotel attempted to calm everything down, but the drunken parents of these heathens refused to yeild their children. Not a fault of the hotel, but of failed parents.

The location of the hotel is an easy drive to Colorado State University as well as dining and shopping options. The rooms are nice and big and are very clean and well appointed. There is a dining and bar area that also serves Starbucks coffee and food (must purchase). Overall a nice hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My room was spacious, quiet, and clean. That's all I ask for in a hotel. Thank yoou!!!!

You don t know quiet until you ve stayed here. Great staff. Facility is due for upgrades, but for the near silence to relax in, I cannot complain. I m a Marriott guy for the long haul.

This is a great establishment. Staff went above and beyond to help me get a room for my brother! Good customer service is hard to find and I was blessed with a great amount of it. Nice rooms and affordable pricing as well!

Good motel /hotel. No complementary breakfast though. No microwave in the rooms either.

Everyone from the front desk to the head of housekeeping was very helpful.

Great location. Courteous and competent staff. Clean. Quiet. Would happily endure several hours on the rack to avoid sleeping in that bed again. Creaked like an old rocking chair with every slight movement.

Very clean, the lobby aide is an awesome person. Nice staff. The attached Bistro serves quality food. The rooms are appropriately spacious. The Courtyard itself is a little underwhelming, but is still nice.

Room was clean, didn't use the pool so I cannot comment on that. Just wish this location provided breakfast.

It was ok. I have stayed here many times but it seems like it is lacking in quality now. I used to like their breakfasts in the AM but everything was cold. People are not as friendly or accomodating as they used to be. Rooms were not as clean as they should be hair in tub and sink and mildew smell in the shower.

The rooms were clean, the location was good, but the lack of continental breakfast was a bummer.

I passed through here almost 3 weeks ago and forgot to leave a review. I recently had a terrible experience at a different location and remembered this place!! The staff here are amazing. The food is also amazing. One of my best Hotel experiences!

I stayed for 2 nights across labor day weekend and enjoyed my stay. I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel accessible to downtown and this hit the mark. In the courtyard there is a little gas firepit which is nice, the bistro serves some good beers which was decent as well. The room had a king and a pullout which worked for 2 adults and a child. The only bummer about the trip is that I used the pool every day and the hottub was out of order for one day. Annnd no continental breakfast, which I would have known if i had done my research. All in all a decent hotel in the $100-$150 range on a holiday weekend.

I couldn't believe I paid almost $100 for a room that had no microwave, dirty bathtub (it had a scum ring all around the tub) I was to exhausted from working all day that I didn't even think about reporting it. The staff were not very friendly excep for the housekeeper. I will not refer this place to anyone.

Had a hard time opening the door with kind of keys they use.

This is a very average hotel. Parking and entrances into the hotel are poorly placed, and it was hard to get around the hotel quickly.

Clean rooms, has an all season pool/hottub and gym, but sadly no room service, good service and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Good for business trips.

Front desk was very welcoming, bistro had a great selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Housekeeping kept everything nice and tidy when we were not there.

Quiet room, fast internet, nice employees and a comfy bed. It would be an easy 5 star, but the coffee in the rooms is terrible and there was a gross substance on the bathroom floor that was missed when they cleaned prior to my arrival. Guessing the floor was a fluke deal as the rest of the room was great. Upgrade the coffee and it's a no-brainer 5 star.

Food is horrible, per packaged heated up and VERY over-priced especially for the poor quality.. I will say though that Sarah is delightful and provided excellent customer service..

Friendly staff and nice rooms. Was a little dirty in the stairway but that's just nit picking as the rest of the stay was pleasant.

The morning after we spent the night, another guest and I were sitting in the lobby area when a breakfast staff employee handed us two sandwiches and said "turkey?", suggesting that the establishment served complimentary breakfast. We graciously accepted, astounded at the quality of what we thought to be free sandwiches. After we had finished, another employee came up to us and rudely asserted that we had knowingly conned the aforementioned breakfast staff employee. He then proceeded to make us pay $15.00 for sandwiches we didn't realize weren't complimentary. Not only was he wrong, but he was extremely hostile from the outset of the encounter. All to say, my stay left me with a bad taste in mouth and I would appreciate it if the Marriott employees would be more open to listening to their customers.

Awesome room. Love the courtyard area, nice pool, fine lobby, allowed us to check in early, and perfect location. Only down side was the option for breakfast, over priced and not a good selection.

I love Fort Collins! This hotel is about 15 minute drive from downtown with traffic but close to Best Buy and Petsmart as well as many other similar nationwide stores. Shares a parking lot with Carrabbas. Get a courtyard room if possible. We didn't see it as an option for pet friendly rooms.

Staff and other rooms were noisy. But we were located right next to the house keeping laundry and storage rooms. Location is good.

Pretty nice place. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the lobby is pretty nice and the rooms are decent.

Make sure you get a second floor room. Otherwise you will hear the people above you walking around their room. Breakfast is good. Pet friendly hotel.

The overall experience was very average and for the price paid I do not feel like we got what was expected we payed more for this hotel and we got less. Breakfast was not included at the courtyard as opposed to the supposedly lower quality but I felt more satisfied with the Fairfield as opposed to the courtyard

Second time staying here and not being able to get internet in my room 90% of the time. Pool is super old. Dogs aren t even allowed to walk around the grass courtyard. Staff is super friendly at least.

The pool was great, everything was clean, and the rooms were actually really comfy. Japanese pro-wrestling at ungodly hours of the night.

Your typical very nice Courtyard setup. Nice clean, well decorated room. Nice lobby cafe with Starbucks coffee. Great courtyard with fire pit area and beautiful flowers. Location is convenient to several great places. Parking was all very good. One complaint, very thin ceilings. Could here people walking above me all night.

Pretty decent stay, the price was a little high but the room was comfy. The shower seemed a little old, it showed wear and was leaky. Good TV, fridge but no microwave.

The cleanliness of the room is evident. Customer service is pitiful. Not the most friendliest staff. I have worked in a hotel environment more than 10 years, and the reason I gave this a 2 star is because they don't go the extra mile to meet guest expectations. It is suppose to be a marriot. Staff customer service needs improvement. course 101 : yoy don't argue with the guest, especially upon requesting soemthing.

There maintainance lady and front desk lady got this 2 stars. Price was not what I called to check twice about. Also there was a blood pillow in my room that my son laid on! No supervisor even called to apologize.

The Asian looking young man who checked us in had excellent customer service skills. The rooms are nice. The bathroom was a little too tight for me, i like big garden tubs. They have an indoor pool which is good. The hot tub was not working during labor day weekend. It is a nice place for people who like to go out. I love room service and pampering, of which they have non. Overall-good.

Location is preferable around shops and restaurants
