The morning after we spent the night, another guest and I were sitting in the lobby area when a breakfast staff employee handed us two sandwiches and said "turkey?", suggesting that the establishment served complimentary breakfast. We graciously accepted, astounded at the quality of what we thought to be free sandwiches. After we had finished, another employee came up to us and rudely asserted that we had knowingly conned the aforementioned breakfast staff employee. He then proceeded to make us pay $15.00 for sandwiches we didn't realize weren't complimentary. Not only was he wrong, but he was extremely hostile from the outset of the encounter. All to say, my stay left me with a bad taste in mouth and I would appreciate it if the Marriott employees would be more open to listening to their customers.
