Best beer garden, doggo friendly. Can't go wrong with classics

Place has nice vibes with alot of young people around and dogs allowed. However, the food is quite average. I got nachos and they were nothing special. Everything else is quite expensive. My friend's steak (which is one of the more expensive options) was chewy. The bar refused me service after 1 beer because they thought I was drunk (just because I was staring around the place, bored, while waiting in the long line).

Awesome pub with good grub in the heart of Newtown. The real standout, however, is the exceptionally professional and accommodating staff working there. Even though times are difficult in hospitality venues with staff having to manage social distancing regulations, the legendary folks at the Courty did (and always do) their very best to accommodate my friends and I for a last minute booking. Thanks team!

Much nicer with covid spacing rules than with the old 'cram them in until we burst' way of operating. Efficient plentiful staff and polite security. Food is fairly standard fare. A bit pricey.

Absolutely love this place and the staff, the piece of coral with the tattoos as mentioned in previous review is a superstar and I'm sorry she has to deal with entitled people that can't do what they are instructed by management to the point they need security to intervene because they're trying to run a COVID safe venue. I'm sure the people living in poverty stricken countries are really sympathetic to your plight in not being able to find a suitable vegan option mate, maybe try one of the other 100+ pubs and restaurants in Newtown that have more options, or is just easier to jump online and whinge about it?

Who doesn't love the courty?? The beer garden is a huge highlight and has plenty of heaters for these colder months. Great food. Great drink. Great staff.

This is a fine establishment. I went there with my husband and 6 kids last week and the kids meals were phenomenal, especially the kids fish and chips. The pool was slightly too chlorinated for little Jimmy but good idea!

Nice pub with a low key, grungy feel and a great beer garden. The vibe is relaxed and seems to be a favourite of Inner West locals. Alcohol prices are really good, food prices are standard pub grub level. Some interesting choices on the menu like butter chicken nachos...

DOGS!!! OMG DOGS. This place loves dogs and they even have a dog menu on their human menu.

Great atmosphere, separate smoking area, pokies and all the good stuff. We had so much fun whilst we all got dunk.
