Served quickly, menu has a large assortment, staff was efficient and friendly, serving portions were beyond my ability to clear my plate. Left the restaurant full and satisfied

We ordered 8 different meals, and everything arrived correctly. The shrimp ala scampi was tasty, but a little chintzy on the shrimp. The crab cakes were good. The salads that accompanied the meals were fresh, but not dried well enough. The French fries were perfectly prepared. The omelet meal was fine, and the hash browns were superb. The children's meal of chicken nuggets with French fries was delicious and generous. The Turkey club was enormous, as was the chicken fajita panini, and both were great. Our server was friendly and efficient.

The food is just okay. We went twice and were served by the same waitress. She seemed overwhelmed, and we had to seek her out to get served.

A great variety of dishes and they are very tasty and nicely presented. Staff and service very friendly and surroundings pleasant and relaxing.

Happy the original owners are back, and it is better than ever!!

Laid back place to get a good breakfast or lunch at a very reasonable price. Defiantly NOT fancy but who cares, the good is tasty.

Awful server. Spent so much time waiting while resturant was almost empty. Black avocado on sandwich, no mayo on BLT & funky tasting bacon. Fruit flies over table & broken container with creamer under table. Won't be back!

Easy in and out. Right on RT. 202 Flemington NJ. Very clean diner/restaurant. Restrooms are newly renovated and spotless. Food and baked goods are delicious! Great breakfast special brings you in but the good food and generous portions keep you comming back. I definitely recommend this place as I often go there myself.

Our waitress was a bit odd, would just walk up to us and stare at us until we said something to her after her standing there for over a minute saying nothing. This happened multiple times, not sure if she s new, but it definitely made my partner and I a bit uncomfortable with how she would approach and just stand there without saying anything until we decided to say something (When we were sat, no hello and didn t ask what drinks we wanted or anything). Food is okay and management is very nice, just a bit off putting

We've been sitting here for 45 mins and we have only been served drinks, that are now empty. I'm local to the area and I will not be returning, ever. And I'm sorry I even tried it.

Most amazing omlets ever! Great service, wonderful selection on the menu. We don't live in the area...but if we did we would be here alot!

The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious!

Food was good....our server seemed nice, at first. Then she dropped off the check. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else and proceeded to sit with a customer. I had to ask the hostess about dessert. Our server finally comes over and asks us what we wanted with an attitude like we were an inconvenience. My friend still tipped.

Panini came on soft flatbread, if you like the traditional, toasted, crunchy panini bread with press marks be advised

Old owners are back ! The service is back to normal. Love this place

The service was not good, our waitress was friendly but not attentive to our common needs like water or utensils, we received our utensils after our food was brought. My friend kept getting up to get us spoons for our coffee or napkins! I expected better service. The food was okay but the service bothered me alot considering the staff were young people!!!!

I normally don't give a negative review. However in this case I feel it is necessary. As soon as I sat down I noticed the place mat and the menus were full of advertiments. I thought to myself, "is this what is keeping the lights on?" They also have too many options in their menu, it starts with traditional American then transitions to Italian, Hispanic, Greek and Asian. I feel the menu is too large to focus on quality. I played it safe by ordering breakfast. It was decent. I could tell my eggs had been cooked first and let to sit while the rest of my meal was cooking, they were already dry on the outside. My coworker ordered a chicken salad, the chicken looked like it had been cooked previously and reheated. It was extremely dry, not fresh. I feel this is one of those restaurants that a professional chefs from TV should come in and "fix". Hint hint Gordon Ramsey.

My husband and I have eaten here a number of times for breakfast and haven't been disappointed yet. Big portions, lots of options. No, it's not gourmet, but it's exactly what you'd want from a Jersey diner. Definitely recommend for breakfast.

Family owned and operated.....My family loves it there and will continue to be our number one destination for the diner alternative...

Great portion size and kind staff. Unfortunately, my omelette and home fries were a little on the bland size. However, the prices are very reasonable and I was seated right away.

Food tasted delicious and large portions for a low price

Wouldn't recommend for dinner. Turkey dinner came with a slice of a doughy loaf they called stuffing. Gravy was out of a packet & corn was canned. The other guest had Greek spinach pie and a salad. The pie was days old and they had no anchovies for the run of the mill salad. The wait staff was very pleasant & tried to make up for the short comings in the kitchen.

Great food and lots of it at a tremendous value! If you haven't been here since original owners took it back over a year ago, make the trip! It is the best food and value in Flemington hands down!

Country Griddle was dark inside and the mask wearing and social distancing was sketchy. I got pancakes because I was looking to satisfy a craving. I should have kept looking. Can someone PLEASE spring for some real buttermilk for buttermilk !

Dirty I don't know how the health department has not shut down. Bugs in kitchen(roaches) everywhere

The breakfast was good - not great. Portions are as expected at most diners. Sausage was too dry, bread was a little stale. I prefer home fries to be a little less lumpy. However, they have driendly staff and good coffee.

It was real nice and everything that people very polite the food I ordered it's just was too many things mixed up with it which made it greasy I can't eat stuff like that no more cuz I'm old when I know I'm going to die then I will go back there and eat it and really enjoy it otherwise it was very good

Been there a few times and always had luck. The breakfast specials are a good price and the standard fare is good. My favorite thing there is the sausage gravy. Hard to find in the northeast, much less finding a good version. The one weak spot has been the salads but, let's be honest, most people don't go to a diner for a salad.

This was simply the best diner I've been to for some time. It personifies wath a diner experience should be. Starting with the coffee, service, atmosphere and fresh ingredients, made this diner officiano want to come back for more.

The Country Griddle is a diner. Food is always good. Countless options to choose from. Service is speedy and polite. Prices are very affordable $$. Their breakfast, lunch and especially dinner specials cannot be beat. New renovations has certainly freshened the place up.
