First visit to this "new" location (formerly Sonny's BBQ), maybe a mile south of the old location at Wilson @ Blanding. Familiar menu, had the pork roast, stuffing & gravy. Relatively large portion, I didn't leave anything behind.
Friendly waitress kept my iced tea topped off; chatted with manager about the closed location on Dunn, which was my go-to for many meals. Staff were masked during guest interaction.
I love this place. The service is always great and the food good!
We stopped here on THANKSGIVING day on the way to Daytona Beach for the turkey run. There were 10 of us and they were able to accommodate us to sit all togther. The waitress was friendly and was able to answer all the questions. She got all of our orders right and the food came out prompt and hot. They had a limited menu of course it being THANKSGIVING day but, still had alot of veggies and 5 meats. The sweet tea was good. I didn't get a pic of the ham and potatoes that was a SLAB o ham. It was as big as half of plate. Like 3/4 inch thick and pineapple glaze on it it was kinda chunky too. The sweet potato didn't have marshmallows on it only raisins but, thats ok it was still good. Biscuits were good not dry like some places. That turkey and dressing with giblet gravy... the dressing was smooth and was seasoned great you could tell that didn't come out no box and it was white meat turkey. Shepard pie was good intresting presentation. That banana pudding too! Oh.. my.. creamy not the box. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Definitely a good stop we reallly... enjoyed it. If we travel this way next year we'll stop in again.
Showed up 30 minutes before closing with a party of 4. Not a single complaint from the staff about it. They were welcoming & the food was fresh & very delicious. Good food & service.
This place needs some severe work they had so many people crammed on one side of the restaurant and the whole of the side of the restaurant was empty Common sense is gonna tell you to space them out and take your 3 servers that you have and give them a certain amount of tables There was a 15 minute wait with just fine because it's lunch But every time I come to this place they just seem like it's a free-for-all very mismanaged I know that there's not a Florida mandate for the face mask right now Much common sense I would wear a face mask because every other restaurant is doing it I've never seen a business that lets their employees run the place And also we did not get to eat their today we because I'm not gonna be crammed in like a pack rats I believe in the covert 19 mandates and I do where my face mask there are lot of people that are elderly in this place and when the servers and manager and cooks are working with no masks it does not look good When they were down the street at the other location It was fairly decent but I didn't get a chance to try here because every time I come here something's wrong with this place management needs to step up are you gonna lose a lot of customers Maybe you just don't care cause that's impression that I'm getting every time I come here so this my last time thank you country cabin
I went for my first time this morning for breakfast!
It was close to lunch time as well, so I ordered some fried mushrooms!
The biggest portion I ve ever gotten. So much so that i was almost full by the time my breakfast arrived.
Definitely, worth the money!

Oh I love their new place on 4443 Blanding! The stuff is so friendly, food is delicious, interior is so nice and clean I would totally recommend it to all my friends and family!

If I could leave a zero star I would.
No mask on MAJORITY of staff. I get we take our masks off when we eat and if I didn't want to catch anything I should eat out. Well.... everywhere else I've ate at in Jacksonville is practicing safe standards. If I have to wear a mask under my welding helmet at my work for 50 hours a week so can they.
Silverware was dirty so was the glasses.
Bacon tasted old like it was sitting out longer than supposed to before cooking.
Used to eat at other location before the pandemic and their white gravy was always horrible.
Thought I'd give them another chance since they moved locations.
Sorely disappointed......

I ordered my food for pick up. I stood at the pick up counter for almost 10 minutes waiting to pay for my food, that was sitting right in front of me. All the waitresses looked over at me several times and ignored me. A very nice elderly couple had gotten up to leave and had come up to the counter. They had to wait 5 minutes to pay. The waitress finally walked over and was going to serve them first, had they not said something. I live 3 minutes from the store and I got home to cold food. There was 5 vehicles total in the parking lot that would have been customers. I saw at least 4 servers. Make sure you go inside if you go otherwise you wont get served and have cold food by the time you get home.
Service was great. I had their fried chicken and my wife had South west grilled chicken.
The chicken was made to order. Crunchy and juicy. Seasoned perfectly. Fried pickles were amazing. My wife loved her grilled chicken.
We will for sure be coming back.
