This Muse once thought the Counseling Service of Addison County was worthwhile. She even donated money to them. Now they seem behind on technology. Blaine Ferris, psychotherapist did not check his emails and was unaware that this Muse was at the Hill House for a week. Dr. Jimmerson is the sole psychiatrist at CSAC; and needs to retire. He forgot that I applied for disability and do not need to work any more. I had to have Blaine come to Rutland Hospital to see me because I was not about to be dragged into his office again by my mechanic or anybody. Sadly, Dr. Jimmerson and Blaine comprise my CRT team. Yet they cannot keep up with where I am!!!!! Right now they are working on a cover up with Rutland Hospital. Dr. Jessica prescribed medicine which caused a car wreck and now wants to dose me further. I am working with Ms. Plummer to see if she can get me an ONH to stop this ridiculousness.

Don't contact them if it's something that you really need. It's been a month or more with no call for my first appointment. I call them and they say I'm on a list.
If you are in some kind of crisis you can be seen by them.
If you are not in a crisis and simply need medications changed and some counseling, you are screwed.
If they weren't the only place available to me in my situation, I would move on.
If you have somewhere else you can go, go there.

I don't know who hires counselors here, but none have helped me. Particularly the last one. My last counselor dismissed me time and time again when I had concerns about possibly having particular mental issues or disorders that could explain what I was going through (she told me to stop worrying about putting names to issues that I feel I have, despite the fact having it documented would help a lot in getting the help I need). There was no attempt in getting me tested for anything. I wanted answers and she wouldn't lift a finger to help.

When I was frustrated about work she told me to stop doing my job as a protest and to let them write me up/fire me, and actually suggested it might be a good thing during COVID because of the benefits if I were getting unemployment.

When I had a period of depression and stated that I wasted my day off because I couldn't find the motivation to even get out of bed, she said "I don't think you want to change" and we cut the meeting short. Two weeks later she messaged me about scheduling a new appointment, I responded yes, and she never replied.

CSAC over the years made me feel like I was just a lost cause who shouldn't be taken seriously, and this last counselor was the final straw. I will never, ever return.
