My daughter has recently joined with Cosmo and yesterday we received her pictures and they not only blew my mind but are blowing everyone else's minds as well. They are gorgeous. The make-up and hair stylist definitely know what they are doing and the photographer did great with my daughter considering it was her first time. Tina and David are so kind and know how to run the business!!!!
I had my photo shoot at Cosmo Model and Talent Agency. It was a lot of fun. Deja helped me to pick my looks for the photos. I really liked Lisa; she was great! She did my hair. And, Erica photographed me; she made it easy & fun.
I was pursueded to sign a two year contract with Cosmo by Nancy Greenwell. After I told her that I wasn't interested at the time, Ms Greenwell took it upon herself to personally guarantee that I would get 'all kinds of work' and that I would get a 'return of investment'. I trusted her because she talked like she knew the modeling business well. Well, over the course of the next years, I would see Ms. Greenwell working the Cosmo booth at the mall. When I ask her if she had any plans to fulfill her 'guarantee', she would abruptly change the subject and try to run away. I only received one paying job from Cosmo for about $100. Apparently, Nancy Greenwell does not know the dictionary definition of the word 'guarantee'. Either that or Ms. Greenwell is a very shady person with no sense of honesty or integrity. I have been having 'all kinds of fun' with the name of Nancy Greenwell and how Cosmo ignored my complaints about her. Everything I have ever said about Ms. Greenwell and Cosmo are the truth. Apparently,Ms. Greenwell doesn't know that Theft By Deception is a very serious charge.
Omg this agency is amazing. They make you feel super comfortable and make you feel like family. They are very personal and let your inner sparkle shine. The photo shoot was a blast and I had so much fun. But you always have to remember your not going to get every job you have to have the right face at the right place at the right time. But until then keep that sparkle sparklinnnnnnnn.

I love Cosmo modeling. I applied and went to the interview he was so nice yet very professional. I got in then the Sunday after the interview was the portfolio pictures. With the photos they were nice yet professional and the makeup and hair was amazing loved it.

My first photoshoot with Cosmo was a great experience, the makeup and hair artists were amazing! and the photographer captured perfect pictures and picked the perfect scenes not only that the staff was very friendly.

hard to rate since we never had photo's taken. had a lg amt of funds moved from my acct to theirs before I signed their contract and gave them notice that we were not going to follow through with the shoot. Yet it's been close to 6 weeks and I have not received my refund. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The staff were nice and friendly, just can't get my $1,000. refunded.
I got a surprise the first time I went to the Cosmo Agency, I was not expecting the meeting to be so nice and pleasant and relaxing. The first person I met, Ms Smith was so gracious.
Had pictures taken, paid the excessive amount of money, had many promises made time after time, until they got there money, and a year later I never heard from them, and never got one call for a job! Unless you've done your share of modeling jobs, do not go here.
Cosmo has been great! Years ago, I took my first set of modeling classes at Cosmo. Then I was 13 or 14. Now, I m 36. Within two months of my initial photoshoot I was booked for jobs. Craig has been a great coach. I am pleased to be back!

After checking out Cosmo Model & Talent Agency, I called and made an appointment for my granddaughter. We had an interview with Tina and went back for the photo shoot. My granddaughter was treated like a princess. We were told to take several outfits and a stylist put together her outfits for the shoot. A hairstylist fixed her hair, and a makeup artist fixed her makeup. Since she is only six, she didn't need too much makeup. The photographer was very professional, and we are truly pleased with the pictures. Everyone was extremely professional, and if she receives no calls, it will be a memorable occasion for her. She loved the attention paid to her and was mesmerized by the other models that were there for shoots.

I am very excited to enter into the Cosmo Model and Talent Agency. I had my photo shoot back in July of this year. All the staff members were very helpful and friendly. I had three completely different looks for my photo shoot. The ladies doing hair and make up were nice, efficient, and effective at their craft. The photographer took many different photos using indoor and outdoor locations. The photographer was very helpful in assisting the models with particular poses to get the best shot. I had a great experience and look forward to updating this review with details from my first modeling job!

We haven t been with Cosmo Modeling for very long, but so far our experience has been very good. We met Tina at the Kentucky State Fair and she wanted to sign my son up for an in person interview. We had been interested in getting my son into modeling and took this as a great sign. A few weeks later we went to the agency and learn more about what it would entail to be signed with Cosmo and what to expect. They make sure not to make any promises or guarantee anything because it would be completely unrealistic to make those promises. We decided to move forward and signed up for the next photo shoot they were having so that we could start his portfolio and get him on their website where their clients look for their talent. Being that he is a toddler (he s only 2) we were set up to show up first since he wouldn t be needing any hair and makeup. When we showed up the photographer was setting up and came and introduced herself. We had already met the director, Craig, when we went a few weeks earlier and between him and the photographer we picked out the outfits that would be best to shoot in. It was a great experience and the photographer really helped capture my son s personality. If you are interested in getting into modeling (or your child), I would recommend checking out Cosmo. We don t know what the future holds, but are glad for the experience if anything else. Looking forward to the next year with Cosmo and hoping we can make a little nest egg in our son s college fund.
Just started with Cosmo, I always wanted to model at a very young age, But it didn t go as plan.This company saw potential in me ,Because I had gave up on ever pursuing modeling again.And I m grateful that they did.Everyone was so nice and friendly and very welcoming. I personally just started with Cosmo recently. After my first photo shoot they sent me to Cincinnati for a runway audition. All the workers helped me prepare for my audition along with having a runway practice telling us the proper way to walk down a runway and present ourselves in a good way. Im excited to work further with Cosmo and the modeling industry.
I signed my 4 year old to this agency and have had nothing but POSTIVE experiences. The staff is knowledgeable in the industry and is quick to answer any questions I have had. It is hard to find people who work well with kids his age and they are great. I am glad we chose them to work with. My son is excited to go to his photoshoots and has a great time while he is there.

Craig is both knowledgable and professional. Information is provided and there are no surprises nor false promises. The shoots have hair & make up professionals as well as a stylist who will pick out an appropriate outfit from the garments you bring. She is able to put outfits together that I did not see. The whole atmosphere is positive. I saw girls come in unprepared and with not enough outfits and no one made them feel inadequate. I am 16 and I was very comfortable with everyone I worked with and how they treated me.

These people are a scam. They did one photo shoot of me and never called back. We payed 1300$ and the person that we gave the money to and that got us to sign no longer works there. They took horrible photos of me and the stylist were also horrible. I recommend people NOT to go these people they will take your money and you will never hear from them again.
And you all can NOT say I did not "try" to model for you all because I still have the CD and the "photos" . I exist .

I do not like how loose-ended the interaction is with the people. I was told I have a different look to myself and that I would be a great yada yada yada.... But in the end was told I'd have to pay anywhere from $1375, up to $1575 for a photoshoot, portfolio, and to be posted on their website for 2 years. I had read almost ALL of the reviews for this place before making a decision whether I should work with them, or to not. Most of the reviews I read were more negative than positive. Many people said that they'd paid the amount for the photo shoots, and had less than par experiences with the whole team in almost all aspects of their work. And on top of that, the people who had decided to work with them, usually never made their money back from the initial investment to make a portfolio!
I was told, "you have to make money for me to make money.". But I don't completely agree with the statement.- I have to pay for them to make money, and the agency has the options to try to get them jobs/gigs, or to not. Even those who had jobs after the first photoshoot, I've read, that they never got another job after the first one, and that it paid less than $200 anyways. Which makes ~$1400 into about $1200 in the negative.
I didn't feel safe enough to work with the agency because of the overwhelming feeling that I could've just gotten scammed and them calling it a photoshoot with no jobs lined up for me to make the return on investment.
I'm sure the owner will see this, and to you, sir: I wish I could've worked with you if there were more transparency and more reliable than your word. Thank You.

They prepare models very well and make sure we have everything we need mentally, physically, emotionally and material wise. They make models are safe and protected with personal information and more. This was my first experience with modeling and I was impressed as to how smooth the process was. There were a lot of people there all at one time to get their photos done and it all took less than 2 hours to get it all done. I m looking forward to getting work and I have confidence in Cosmo in helping me through this process. Update on my review. 5-19-20. Cosmo was supposed to give me another shoot if I gave them 5 stars. They never scheduled it like they said they would. They don t train you how to do anything. It s all up to you. I would NOT recommend them at all. Complete waste of money and time.
As of December 2017, we signed an agreement and committed to, Cosmo Model and Talent Agency, located in Louisville, Ky. My daughter and I met with the Agency Director, Craig Dalton a total of three times prior to committing. Mr. Dalton was more than welcoming, patient, thorough, and professional with my teenage daughter and myself upon each meeting. All other staff, were also wonderful to us, and each went above and beyond to ensure we were confident in our decision; upon doing so they brought much excited into our lives. We are proud and anxious to begin this journey with Cosmo Model and Talent Agency. I am confident they will lead my daughter to a great future!

They take your money and provide absolutely no follow through. They also require the models to write 5 positive reviews online so their rating is definitely skewed.

Any legit modeling agency requires no money from you. They pay YOU to represent them because they believe you have the talent or the "look". any agency requesting money, doesn't actually scout talent, but accepts anyone who walks in the door that is willing to pay them is not legitimate. Most often these people are teamed up with other organizations/scouting events that are dealing you the dream that have their hand out too. It's funny because another review talked about Tyra Banks and she is a strong advocate of any real agency never asks for money from you because they know they will make their money on your bookings if you truly have what it takes....
It was an awesome experience working with Cosmo, I would recommend anyone looking to get into modeling to go there first. They are very friendly and help put your outfits and make-up together to look your best!!

I ve just recently joined COSMO, but through the time I ve been here I ve been nothing but offered amazing opportunities and has had their hand held through the multiple interviews and parts already in my modeling career. It s an amazing starting place to get you where your dreams can get fulfilled. Everyone there is very helpful and nice. They make sure you re comfortable and easily understand things. I m so happy I got offered this opportunity and a two year contract which is very rare to come by in an agency.
My 11-month-old just had her first photoshoot at COSMO Model & Talent Agency. The staff was friendly and inviting, and the photographer was brilliant with her! Baby girl was squirmy and a little fussy because it was her naptime, but the photographer played children's music, was very patient with her, and made my little one feel happy and comfortable. We love COSMO and can't wait to represent them!

I only got called one time. I plan to persuade a career in acting with or without the Agency. I don't know if it has to do with being here in Louisville. But I plan to move to LA California. I will go down there have a meeting with them and figure out everything and hope that I finally get another chance for something.
I can t emphasize enough what a wonderful experience it has been for me since signing with this agency. The entire staff is professional and helpful, but the years of experience and knowledge of the industry that Craig offers is second to none. There is not another agency in the city like this one.

Cosmo was a disappointment to work with. My agent was unprofessional and hard to get in contact with. I had much better styled pictures taken by other photographers as I developed my portfolio on my own. Cosmo exaggerates what they can do for you in your first meetings with them. Don't make the same mistakes as so many others have! I wish I had someone to give me this advice when I first signed with them.
This place just takes advantage of people who dont have money they make it sound good take your money and you never hear from them again our experience from beginning to end was no good

I use to work for cosmo and I hated it!!!!! They sent me to auditions with girls that were 20-24 and I was 14 at the time so obviously I'm not going to get the job. They do one photo shoot with you for $1400 and never talk to you again. If you want to be a model there are amazing agencies out there. I left Cosmo and went to a better agency. My advise to models out there is get a portfolio and start networking yourself or get a portfolio and find a agency.
Received phone call to set up interview less than an hour after I applied. Interview was effortless, upbeat, and informative. First photoshoot was incredible. Staff are far superior than anyone else I ve spoken with. Glad to be part of the Cosmo family and see what the future holds.

This company scams many innocent people. My mom took me there when I was in high school. She paid around $800 up front for hair, makeup, and photos. This should've been a red flag right there... After we paid them and had the photos taken, we never heard from them again. Do not go to this company, do not work with them - they take advantage of moms and young girls who dream of being models.

I had a great experience with Cosmo. I filled out an information sheet at a mall kiosk for fun and was contacted for an interview a few days later. The agent I spoke with was one of the nicest, most encouraging people I've ever met. Everything was explained to me in detail and I learned how Cosmo has great opportunities for people of all ages and body types. With my agent's help and encouragement and the support from my family, I was able to attend an actual photo shoot and had an amazing day. I am way more confident in myself after one shoot and I can't wait for more opportunities!

We have had our first couple of encounters with Cosmo Model & Talent Agency this week. From the initial interview and through the process of our daughters first photo shoot the staff was incredible welcoming and very knowledgably and accommodating. Everyone from the agency director, stylist, hair and makeup artist were all wonderful. I m confident they will work very hard to get my daughter some great opportunities in this new adventure!
Went there for an "interview". They sat me in a separate room to fill out some forms, a guy came and got me. The office is sub-par, everything's very outdated and rough. It doesn't feel legitimate from the start. After an interview, I was presented with prices to get my photos taken. Once I advised I don't have the money for that, the interview was quickly wrapped up and I was moved along. I don't feel like one should have to pay such a crazy amount up front. Many agencies will "take their cut" out of your first few gigs. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, except that it is good practice if you're nervous about the "real deal". The only reason I gave it two stars is because the neighboring office space has a couple of really sweet Labradors (dogs).

Our visit with Cosmo has been a good one. It can be pricey and nothing may become of it. Work is not guaranteed. Let's face it, it's Louisville - not New York City or LA. Work is very limited here if at all. BUT for your money, which is less than other agencies by THOUSANDS of dollars that we have checked out, it's not a bad deal. For about $34 a month (which is what the lump sum averages out to) you get 2 years of representation and a CD of pictures for portfolio. No other monies are asked for as long as you pay in full. I know people who have agents in NYC and headshots and portfolio pictures alone are $1500. So nobody will truly represent you for free. Even if they don't charge to represent you, they will get your money somehow. I went into this knowing that nothing may become of it more than a few hundred pictures. I was not promised the world. Nor do I expect it. If we don't get work in two years, we simply won't sign again. I don't get why everyone is so upset. Nothing is guaranteed. So far it's been a good experience and at least I have pictures I can take to places outside Kentucky when we travel. Never know what might happen.
