I'm sure this place is at least somewhat proficient in the services they provide; however, as a tourist I stopped in and asked very politely to take some photos of their large signs in the back lot (exceptional, extremely large Americana relics) for my personal photography hobby (as I'm seeking new and unusual photography subjects, having already photographed all the fields and houses I could ever want). However, the owner (despite being, as I am, an Aggie) acted as if this was the craziest and most bizarre request he had ever received. He asked why I would want to photograph the signs, and I said, "Because they're unique," but this did not convince him that I was not up to some nefarious purpose, and he actually asked what my "motive" was. I tried to then back off, saying that of course, I didn't have to take the photos, that it was just for my hobby, and he very rudely responded that "I -know- you don't have to." This was an unnecessarily rude and hate-filled response to my polite attempt to back out of what had become a surreal, scary experience. After long moments of silence, where he was apparently considering my offer, he was again unnecessarily rude in declining to let me take the photographs. I gratefully and immediately left. As a whole, this "man" succeed in making me feel like a total freak and weirdo that had no business being alive in his world. If you want to encounter incredulous, inexperienced, ignorant, conspiracy-theorist, unChristian rednecks who have never heard of taking photographs for hobby purposes and will willingly be extremely rude to a pleasant young girl traveling alone, then this is the place for you!
