When I was visiting Madrid for a long weekend, I wanted to get exposed to as much of the local culture as I could. I searched for a good flamenco venue and found the amazing reviews of Corral de la Moreria. It certainly did not disappoint! The food was outstanding and the show was incredible. Highly recommend for dinner to anyone visiting this beautiful city!

On last visit in Madrid our hotel consierge recommended that we visit local Flamenco show. We were seated right by the stage and ordered couple plates of food to share. The food was beyond our expectation. Presentation was beautiful and so were the flavors. We were served local white wine that tasted little bit like a vermouth and then Champagne that made everything great. The server was always there making sure our glasses were always full, very attentive.
The show is well put together and keeps you entertained. It was probably my favorite Flamenco show.

One of the worst services I've ever had in a resta...

One of the worst services I've ever had in a restaurant and quite a tourist trap. They took forever to take me to a table which was located in a hidden and awful area (I supposed coz I was on my own they just put me in any additional corner they could make), it was literally a stumbling table in front of a pillar right next to the bar and kitchen way, very stressful as I could only hear the noise of the waiters, kitchen and they kept bumping in my chair.
The waiter didn't bring me a dinner menu, I had to wait forever for someone to come so I could ask for the menu, they seemed to only care with tables with people on large groups.
By the time the food arrived the show had already started I could barely see what I was eating, everyone else had already finished being served which was very frustrating.
The show itself I have to say lacked more passion and tradition from some of the dancers and singers, part of them seemed very tired and with hardly any show of enthusiasm, I guess cause that was the last show of the night, perhaps they should not have as many shows packed in 1 day or at least have different dancers and singers for each.
I have been to several flamenco shows across Spain and had really high hopes for this one as seemed to be the best in Madrid, but unfortunately it turned out to be the worst of them all, from the service, to the food (nothing amazing), to the show, it felt like a tourist trap, the dancers all matching clothes and clearly following some touristy routine, nothing like the true passion and flamenco tradition I've witnessed across Andalucia and Barcelona. Highly disappointed and would most certainly not recommend.

I've been twice and it's been an amazing experience both times. Some reviews complain about seating, but if you book in advance you will get better seats. This place is very famous and unique and space is limited. Food is expensive but delicious.

They are extreme racists. If you are an asian you will undergo utmost RACISM. When I arrived in the show, every asians were assigned the table at the end of the room and I could see just 30 percentage of the stage because columns were hiding my sight from my table. I asked to change my table but was ignored. I left the show before it started and wasted my money. Never go there if you are colored one or get insulted.

I loved the show and the atmosphere. The impeccable service. I paid only for the show but the drinks menu includes a selection of tapas. I ordered two and they were exquisite. Stop for when they visit Madrid.

The truth is that the distribution of the space is lousy and the ventilation too (in terms of air renewal). BUT the artists, food and attention are so good that they deserve more than 5 stars! I went to three tablaos in Madrid during my stay and this was the one I liked the most! I RECOMMEND IT 100%

Food is esquiset. We tried the tasting menu with pairing wine. Everything was perfect. Roberto was really helpful, always smiling and there when you needed him. He described every wine and his choices were spot on. The show could have been longer than 1h... Be prepared to spend quite a lot ... It costed us 300 euros (tip included) dinner plus show

I regret to say that a group of old people shouting and stepping loudly is not an entertainment for me. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have ordered some violins and contrabass for a few hours last night. The cannon in D Major was brilliant ... Corral de la Moreria is nowhere near to what I have expected...

In short:
- small tables (much smaller than the cheapest soho restaurant in London)
- waiters are just lazy and not clever enough to understand what it means to ask for more bread several times
- they have also been asked three times to bring a single drink ... how much intelligence is needed for a such a simple task ??
- food was almost cold
- internet doesn t work ...

Waste of time and money.

This is Flamingo, the first recommended on TripAdvisor, but it is much worse than Sevilla. Very noisy, noisy ears, no rhythm in the performance, mainly not rushing to eat, the waiter is very diligent, but the purpose is to find you tip.

The poor word falls short for the attention they offer you. Unfriendly waiters, crowded with tourists who (not understanding neither Spanish nor English) do not respect the rules (spoken by public address system) and speak loudly during the show and record with their cell phone loudly. No waiter tells them anything.
Tables so close together that in the end you see more the head of the front than anything else. Too bad I didn't take a picture of my location so it looks like I'm not exaggerating.

I loved the intimacy of this restaurant. The show was amazing. The singers and dancers really have their all. The service was so-so. They were not very attentive to our table and took a long time to bring wine. The food in my opinion was okay but not worth the cost. Servings were small. I was still hungry when I left. The main reason to go is for the show so I would rate it a 4. Food I would rate is a 3.

Great flamenco. I have seen flamenco shows in Barcelona Madrid Buenos Aires and Rio. This was the best because it wasn't all flash and color with minimal technique. All were dressed in black or neutral and showed the best skill, letting their dance be the show. My favorite.

The place is amazing. We made the reservation with dinner. The attention is very good and the food is delicious. We received two glasses of cava toast and a dessert for birthdays. The show is sublime, exciting. It is something that has to be lived once in a lifetime before dying

Although the dancing and singing were quite good, unfortunately, they gave me a seat in the corner of the back near the bar. I could not see the show because the columns made my vision very difficult. Very cost for what it was, a very short show, in a place of third category. I do not recommend it

Don t go to this place if you re looking for an authentic flamenco music experience. It is pricey, overcrowded and unpredictable, as the management is disloyal with his staff, artists and customers. Also, it is renowned for its bad customer service. A better alternative should be Las Torres Bermejas (worldly known for having been the tablao where the famous Paco de Lucia and Camaron de la Isla, played and sung together) with his authentic Andalusian ambience and an unparalleled decor that takes you back a thousand years ago.
At El Corral de la Moreria one doesn t know what to expect, as the management has not been able to keep a steady cast of artists that could guarantee uniformity in the daily shows. Thus, one day one might see a decent show and the next day could be just horrible.
Las Torres Bermejas offers uniformity, better food, friendliness and extraordinary decor and ambiance.
You can also try Casa Patas, although is closed on Sundays.

Performance was average (aside from one of the guitarists and one of the dancers who were fantastic), food was absolutely terrible: The starter was disappointing, the main made me actually gag and the desert was tasteless (which was actually welcome after the main).
Service was great.
I would recommend going rather to Las Carboneras. Better performance and they also have great service.

Best Flamenco you are going to find anywhere in Madrid in a small venue so you really can't find a bad seat. Surprisingly good food and high marks to the waiters, who rush through the dining room sufficiently hunched over so as not block you view. Excellent guitar players and singers as well.

Fantastic flamenco quality in a small/dense restaurant setting that is intimate and exciting. I ve gone to shows here 4 times over the last 30 years, most recently in April 2018. Each time I ve been thrilled by the performances. Rotating and varied slate of performers guitar, dancers, and singers. Really authentic, albeit almost entirely a tourist venu at this point in time. But don t let the touristy aspect dissuade you/-this is an enthralling art form, exceedingly Spanish and best enjoyed late at night when the performers let loose a bit more than at the earlier show. I find the flamenco at this venue to be the best in the country (have been to 6 others in Madrid and Seville). Must see!

Way too over priced. Spent almost 200 euro for two people and the food was terrible. The dancers were talented, but was expecting more. The dancers were all old and overweight, not what you'd expect for a Flamenco dance. We got there 45 mins early and was told to come back later to stand in line, which turned out to be fine since you aren't seated according to your place in line. Front of the line doesn't mean you get a front seat. Save money and time and go somewhere else.

Absolute scam for foreigners and unwary. On the website they offer a show + dinner for a price that is supposed to be fixed and that they only advise that it is not in small print before closing the transaction.
The living room is totally overcrowded, the distance between the small tables is zero and the prices of the sad dinner are exaggerated. It is worth going to dinner at any restaurant and, in any case, go later to see the flamenco show
The service is dire and most of the waiters do not open where they are.
In short, if you are not a stupid foreigner, it is best to go to any other tablao, as there are many in Madrid. And to eat ... Not a joke here.
