I've had 4 contracts through Core and was very satisfied. I've also recommended many nurses. I have had more than 25 travel contracts in my career with tons of agencies and find Core on top with only a handful of others. As with any you need an experienced recruiter, to negotiate your salary and stipend. I know enough to realize you have to know the area you're traveling to, to know if a stipend will provide you enough to live on and the salary more than you'd get PRN at home...otherwise it doesn't pay to travel, unless you want a certain facility on your resume, certain experience or a particular destination. And as always, read every word of the contracts before agreeing, even when extending. Core Medical will work with you. That's more than many other alternatives!

It's rare to find a travel company that can offer you everything on your wish list. I got the location I hoped for, at better than expected pay, and all the while I have an attentive team that is available to me whenever I need them. I am a physical therapist and have had terrific experiences working with Core Medical. Maura is my "handler" and she is amazing - helping me every step of the way and making sure my contracts meet my needs. The company benefits are good and start day 1 - so no waiting 30 or 90 days before your insurance kicks in! I have gotten paid on time every week, and the online time sheet process is pretty easy to navigate. Finding housing is the hardest part of the travel gig, but Michelle, in the housing dept, has really helped me connect with area options. I am a fan of Core Medical and hope they will keep me around for a while!
